However weight readings are inconsistent (up to 600g difference within 20mins) making them unreliable tracking trends. Feeder: Works, but not expected. It continues dispensing food even when previous are untouched, which can lead to overfunding or waste. Both / App: Key health features are locked behind the paid “Care+” subscription. The toilet’s highlight videos don’t capture waste, making impossible to check stool or urine condition.

Got the fountain for a blind dog. The design and the quality, with the stainless inside is great. However - that’s it. A simple sensor instead of an app would be mich better! And cheaper (for us condiments). I know, our data sells. But then I expect the fountain for free. Just using the app now, until I get new moving sensor to switch inbetween. Not frustrated. Just realistic. THE APP IS NOT SMART!

Très bon distributeur, mais déconnecte fréquemment de l’application. C’est très énervant de devoir entrer l’identifiant et le mot de passe chaque fois. L’appareil se déconnecte aussi du wifi de temps à autre. Ce serait le temps de faire une sérieuse mise à jour de l’application et permettre de se reconnecter rapidement par FaceID. De toute façon, la session devrait toujours demeurée connectée.

My Puramax Pro 2 was connected to this app for a week. Then an update made it so that it could only connect using the mainland Chinese app. All of the automation stopped.

用了剛滿一年餵食計畫就出現裝置故障無法自動出餐，聯繫客服告知送修會收取維修費。而且這是舊款零件可能缺貨，後來收到的訊息是可能主機板壞掉，送修不划算，才剛過保固就壞掉，一台幾千元的產品，這根本就是有品牌的詐騙，那時期買的餵水器後來馬達也壞掉，真的很廢，以後絕對不會買這家的產品，很會打廣告，外型很漂亮，結果買回來過保就變垃圾，你敢再買嗎！？三思而後行！

The last couple of months it's almost unusable to load the live cam. Sometimes it's able to load but always after a long time. I would avoid this company's products.

My pet dryer failed after only 1.5 years and I honestly didn’t use it that much. Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent on it.

I select 1/10 cup food portion (around 10 grams) and since the last month it keeps giving 20 grams of food. Tried everything but nothing fixed it.

I got many issue with the app and my cat feeder

PETKIT feeder frequently loses wifi connection. Have to reconfigure wifi over and over again. If it doesn’t work, have to delete and reinstall app. Products are good, connectivity not so much. Which is a small issue if you’re selling normal products. But if you’re selling smart products, it’s a dealbreaker.

I have multiple PetKit fit 3 activity monitoring collars for my cats. When you open the app it is supposed to automatically sync with the fit 3 so you can review your pets activity data, only thing is that the syncing process fails at automatically syncing and also fails when trying to manually sync (by pressing the sync button) the device to the app at least 95% of the time. I’ve gone weeks without the syncing process successfully completing, ffsdespite trying to sync the devices to the app multiple times every single day, which makes the device totally useless! It’s pretty disappointing because I didn’t experience the problem this much after I bought the first collar. It seemed that the activity monitoring devices were quite useful, and I bought 4 more so I could monitor all of my cats. I liked the idea off being able to have such used data about my cats so I was planning to purchase the video monitoring auto feeder, smart water fountain and smart litter box. Now I am definitely 2nd guessing making such pricey purchases if the PETKIT devices are always failing to sync the data with the app, because that makes them all pretty much useless! According to all of the other reviews for the app, the developers seem to have a hard time resolving the app’s problematic issues. I hope that they can fix that because the products all seem to have the potential to be very cool and quite useful if they were able to actually work properly even half of the time😿

I am not always using the app. Every time, when I check the app with the “upgraded version”, my Petkit Mate Pro was removed. This time is even worse, I can’t add the camera automatically or manually. “Add Manually” is not working, it is just a description without any functions. This app is one step forward and actually three steps backward.

The Petkit products are great, the app is really bad though. The translation to English is really done poorly. It is obvious that a non-native speaker has done the English translation. Even though I have set it to English, I’m getting Chinese characters and date formatting in the interface. Overall the app is not intuitive either. It could really do with a revamp, and a complete review of the foreign languages as well.

I have two major issues with the app that I’ve written to petkit about but get no useful information from them. Firstly the calendar is out by a whole day, for example if today were Tuesday 24th Oct, the app shows Monday 24th Oct, which is just annoying. The second issue is that the app no longer retains the detailed notes (time, weight etc). This was one of the selling points for me as I was monitoring one of my cats who was ill. Previously the app would retain the detailed notes for the entire time it has been in use. Now it only retains it for a few months and that’s it. I find this incredibly frustrating as I need to be able to monitor their weight in particular. I’ve had no joy from their support team, which provided a switch it off and on type of response, which I have done - I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app to no avail. They’ve asked for a video of this being completed and it not working… I have asked them to clarify this request twice… do they want a video showing me deleting the app and then showing the camera that the dates are still wrong!!!! I’ve sent them screenshots, but it appears that isn’t good enough. Basically, if you want accurate data for use on vet visits or to monitor health - this one isn’t it!

Petkit pura max cannot connect to phone even wifi is fine… local display has failed last yr but I was ok since can control from phone… now i have no way to monitor or control… this evening the unit did not auto clean .. pls help

Before update my new petkit eversweet 3 can connect with no problem at all. After software update, cannot even connect, customer service not helping too. Please fix the bug

Petkit is trying too hard to block international user. So much so it even back fires on the app for mainland China use. Mind you Petkit. International market is way bigger than China alone and international market have buying power. Please stop your nonsense on restricting your app to region.

Bought 2nd petkit mini auto feeder unable to connect to apps keep saying network error so frustrating…The first one bought a few months back works fine but the new one unable to connect at all

8 out of 10 times you try to refresh the data, it either shows network issue or takes more than 20 seconds to load. This is terrible. Usability comes first then fancy features please!

Network error cannot login

The English isn’t localized so it’s hard to understand. For example the app uses open/close instead of on/off. Unclear language combined with poor information architecture and unnecessary features makes for a very confusing experience. It really is almost impossible to use the app. PETKIT should redesign the app from scratch. Priorities should be focused only on creating an app that lets you feed your pet manually and with a schedule and that’s it. A visually beautiful interface is nothing if the architecture isn’t intuitive. The social media features eg. following other’s nearby is extremely invasive and creepy. I bought a feeder to feed my cat. I don’t want others ‘nearby’ to know I even exist. Creating a community surrounding a feeder is huge scope creep. Think about why users would want a community focused on an auto feeder. I mean, maybe if the community was to help me find a lost pet? But still, I would consider that a feature that one would need to choose to opt into. A great app would be based on research to determine what user’s goals are and what they really need to get the job done. Focusing design and dev effort on social media media features before the primary features are ‘perfected’ is jumping the gun at best.

It occasionally tells me poor internet connection, and feeding history is unknown since it can’t be captured. It also advices me to contact customer service, but petkit team function on the app doesn’t work and crashes the app.

Le vol de données privées, l’impossibilité de juste connecter son appareil sans donner mille infos, l’impossibilité d’effacer son compte complètement, le partage automatique de tout avec tout le monde. Les appareils marchent sans besoin de l’app... l’app est surtout a éviter à tout prix!

When I can get the app to work i’m suitably impressed with the auto-feeder itself, however there’s no small amount of effort, hassle & luck to get it anywhere near a working state; the product not supporting 5ghz wi-fi was a warning sign (& the product isn’t exactly cheap & this is 2019?) & it’s vague “network errors” that plague the thing - only being able to connect to the device 2/25 attempts, despite all devices being <2m from the router. Sometimes it tells me there’s a firmware upgrade available, other times i’m up to date, irrespective of the fact that trying to apply any update results in a ‘failure’ due to ‘file download failed’... Long and short of it is we bought this so we could look after our furry friends when out and about but irrespective of features, the one thing it had/has to have is reliability - the product itself seems very good but the app and underlying software is DREADFUL to the point we just can’t trust it. Have had it 10 days now but despite persevering and wanting it to work, I just have no confidence one minute to the next - it was working fine last night but then failed to dispense today when no-ones touched it/internet & network working fine - only writing the review now due to inability to remedy the issue due to constant “network error” messages (even after power cycles) and no other devices having issues. One workaround i found a few days back is deleting the device from the app and re-adding it, but is that seriously what I should be required to do with a $200 product?

I have been using the PETKIT app since buying the Fresh Element Smart Feeder. I have been frustrated with it from day one. The initial setup was very finnicky, often failed and took quite some time to get it setup. Then I noticed that the app and the feeder weren’t in sync. The feeder would do something or send information to the app which wasn’t correct. For example, I turned off the feeder and the app just persisted in telling me it was on line. The amount of food shown as left is often way out (yes, I have done the ‘rest food calibration’ times). Even though I have new batteries in the feeder, if power fails the feeder just dies instead of going to battery back up. Every time I open the app, I am always presented with the last page of setup which, despite having the required information, refuses to finish up. Despite the major app update in early March, I am still encountering the exact same app issues. I simply cannot edit a feed plan without the app crashing when I save a change. I have to create another pet profile then delete the old plan. I am very unsatisfied with this app and in turn the product it supports.

Having it for two weeks only and all of a sudden it stopped working, showing offline all the time even both WiFi and Bluetooth are on. After reinstalling the app and the screen showed that the device is found, it’s still connecting. Customer support is a joke. No number you can call for questions, enquiries or anything. Filled in the online question form, but no reply!

Easy set up, saves time and litter

I cannot say enough good things about my PetKit automatic litter box. Honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner. I have three cats: Pancake, Cookie, and Sugar…and this thing has completely changed the way I care for them. The app is incredible. Every time one of my cats uses the litter box, I get a notification. It tracks each cat individually by weight, so I can see if they’ve gained or lost weight, which is an amazing feature for monitoring their health. The app also lets me know when it’s time to add litter, replace the waste receptacle, or change the odor eliminator. Even when I’m traveling across the country, I can keep tabs on my cats and know everything is functioning properly back home. What impresses me most is the odor control. There is absolutely no smell. None. I keep my PetKit in a small closet with the door cracked open, and even in that enclosed space there is no litter box odor whatsoever. The room itself is only about 5 by 7 feet, and you would never know there was a litter box in there. For anyone with multiple cats, or anyone who simply loves their cat but doesn’t love the work and smell that can come with cat ownership, this product is worth every penny. It takes one of the least pleasant parts of having cats and makes it practically effortless. No smell. No scooping. No guessing. Just a clean litter box, happy cats, and complete peace of mind. Highly recommended.

J’attendais que PetKit soit disponible dans toute l’Europe, je suis ravi de ma nouvelle fontaine vraiment pratique et d’une efficacité 10/10, mes chats ne joue plus du tout avec l’eau ou la fontaine donc plus besoin de nettoyer 2 ou 3 fois par jours. Avec l’application nous pouvons suivre en temps réel le nombre de fois que vos chats ont bu durant la journée avec capteur laser. MERCI PETKIT !!!! j’aimerais essayer votre litière automatique mais pour l’instant ça reste un budget

First off, I want to say this is a great automatic cat litter box. I ordered this in July of 2023 and almost three years later, I am happy to report I have had zero issues with it. I have two sibling cats and this is the only litter box I have in my house. I do have to mention that one of my cats got up to 23lbs and wasn’t able to go #2 inside, so he would go right outside of it on the mat. He is now down to 13lbs and still will go outside the box, I think because he can’t arch his back inside as it is a compact area. One great feature is that every time one of the cats uses it, it tells me which cat, how long they used it for and how much they weigh. My ONE MISTAKE, that I must warn others about, is to not barricade your cats in the room where the litter box is located at the beginning bc in doing that, every time they would go in it or investigate it, it would automatically cycle and I think it traumatized them. I put them in there for a day and had an additional, basic litter box in there as well with their food/water etc. Luckily, there is a safe mode, called “Kitten Mode” where you can manually clean it when you opened the app and press “clean now.” I now have set it on a schedule to clean twice a day, when I know my cats are hanging out with me (10:15pm and 8:15am). Overall, this is a great product that I recommend to all my fellow feline owners. Worth the $600 I paid for it!

This app is easy to use for Purobot Ultra. It tracks my 3 cat’s toilet habits that I can now detect if there’s anything wrong with my cat’s health. The AI face detection even gives me a graph chart on toilet usage times for every individual cat and alerts me if any cat have not gone to pee/poo. I now have a better understanding of my cat’s habits & times clearly. App manoeuvrability needed to be learnt but once I got the hang of it it’s been easy peasy. I get daily vlogs & videos of usage and tracking. (with subscription). Life has been so much better after owning this smart litter tray. I don’t even have to lift a finger except when having to throw the bag after 1 week (app will alert when bag is full). Less work for me. Human stress minimized. I’m a happy cat momma. ♥️🐈

App was always in English and that worked very well. Now it changed automatically to Dutch and the translation is poor, words are literally translated from English and the meaning is not correct. Unfortunately i can not change it back to English.

I need a shortcut for extra feeding I tried to make a custom one but app doesn’t cooperate…

Been great when we’ve gone away for the weekend. I paired with a $20 camera from Kmart to checkin on. feeds everytime on time. No blocking issues. Has backup battery but needs power, so make sure your feeding spot has power outlet. Can also adjust times and amount using the app as long as it’s connected to home wifi. Been great product for the past 3 months

App has some nice features, however it does not send a notification warning of low battery on the water fountain or of low water level which both seem like pretty basic features it should have.

Pet kit has well build products they are pricey but I don’t mind for the ease of use it’s worth it. We brought the air salon max pro and it’s great my cat sits in there and she’s dry on the set timer you can select heat or Time fan speed. The litter box is brilliant easy to control set pre set times for the day does a good job at self cleaning.

The only negative thing is that the app doesn’t automatically update the water added info. You have to manually add the cleaning date. It notifies you to change the water and clean the bowl, but once you check that you’ve read the note, it doesn’t ask to accept it has been changed and the date updated. It also expects you to change the filter every month, but it doesn’t really need to be changed until every 2 months. It’s just a cash grab.

The app is overall solid and fulfills all essential requirements. The interface is clear, the setup works smoothly, and it’s generally reliable. However, I have to deduct two stars for one major issue: when sharing a device (in my case, the Petkit litter box) with another user, the shared user does not receive push notifications. Under “Devices” → “Notifications,” the device doesn’t even appear for them, while it does for me as the owner. This means only the owner can receive useful, real-time push alerts, which seems like a real bug and makes sharing less practical than it should be.

I highly recommend this product. I bought it 2 weeks ago before going to holiday. I had many foundations over the past 5 years and half, this one it is incredible smart made it. I have 2 cats, and it is amazing the app that you have to download and I could check it when I was away to see how much water they drink, how much water it is left, if there is any issues with it. After 2 weeks I still had some water left, I haven’t cleaned or change the filter to see at first how it is going, the water it is filtered very good and my cats now want to drink only from the fountain, the pot where water it’s running had no rock or calcareous as mentioned in the description. I will definitely buy the litter and the food dispenser in the future as update. Thank you for being pet lover!

Overall happy with app. Wish the light can be set to timer or motion sensor, to prevent it being on or off 24/7. Currently need to manually turn it on or off.

App works reliably. Device and app combo is great to feed the cat when for some reason I'm not home as expected/planned. Please give us the old icon back though! I would love the option to "dispense the next scheduled meal now", so when you get home a little earlier you can feed it without disrupting the set schedule.

I am using a petkit food dispenser and it does not send a notification when the device if offline

Although i am very happy with the device, i am quite annoyed that i cannot add another individual to the app to view my puramax. I keep trying to add family member but even after the invite is sent and accepted, my partner cannot view the device.

休日の朝にゆっくり寝たいのと、昼のお出かけ用で自動給餌器を購入。本体とアプリの接続も簡単でした。飼い猫がカメラにうつった際に勝手にコメントがつくのですが、「かわいい子を見てください」「小さい子が私のお菓子はどこに行ったのと言っています」とか独特で、ログを見るのが楽しいです。ほんわかした音楽で前日の内容がまとめられていて、毎日変わらない食事シーンなのですがつい見ちゃいます。

Money Grabber App, gotta pay for your own playback

同じものを使用している猫友に聞いて購入しました。最初に使用する時はとりあえず電源を入れないで(回転させない)中で用を足す事に慣れさせるのが良いでしょう。警戒心が強い子や臆病な子は自動的に動くと驚いて中に入らなくなります。ウチの2匹(8才♂3才♀)は慣れるまで1週間くらいかかりましたが幸い用を足す事ができるようになりました。今までのトイレの片付けがなくなってもの凄く楽になりました。

My two cats have used the PetKit litter box for over a year without any problems to my cats. I spent a lot of time making calls to get it set up correctly. My complaints are that it doesn’t hold the settings & keeps reverting back as if there were none @ all. I’ve repeatedly told them about the problem & they still haven’t fixed it. Still, it’s a great product & it does save time not having to clean the litter box, plus it saves on litter as well. If they could somehow make it work like it’s supposed to, it would be perfect. It needs to hold the settings so it shows the names, weight & number of times each cat has used it. Other than that, it still dumps the litter after each use & I wouldn’t want to be without it. Also, the liquid purifier hasn’t worked since I’ve got it. They sent me a new one. But it doesn’t work either, maybe because it gets gummed up or something, idk. The price is extremely high & not many can afford it. I don’t recommend it for anyone if they’re not computer savvy, or know someone who is. I gave it 3 stars for the reasons listed here.

管理が出来る点では良い。でも、微調整が出来なさすぎる。ぺットを認識出来ず、同じ猫なのに、その他猫と認識したりする頻度が多くトイレの回数も実際は多いのに関わらず少ししか、回数してないとかの誤認など、スマホ機能の管理アプリが頻繁に連絡来る割に機能に乏しい感じ。トイレ自体は回転式で機能良好快適に絶賛使用継続中。使用感、猫も私も超絶楽ちん。無くてはならない逸品。アプリだけが問題かなぁw

An sich eine gute App, mit der ich meine beiden Petkit PuraMax Katzentoiletten verbunden habe. Seit dem letzten Update vor ca. einer Woche werden allerdings die Toilettengänge der Katzen nicht mehr in der App angezeigt. Ich bekomme zwar die PopUp Nachrichten nach Benutzung und Reinigung der Toilette, wenn ich die App dann allerdings öffne um zu sehen welche Toilette wie oft benutzt wurde wird mir diese Nummer nicht mehr angezeigt. Die Funktion der eigentlichen Toiletten ist komplett unbeeinträchtigt, die funktionieren beide wunderbar. Lediglich die App scheint dieses Problem zu haben, daher hoffe ich auf ein baldiges Update welches dieses Problem behebt. Ansonsten weiter so!

這款自動貓砂盆簡直太方便好用了 可以記錄不同的貓咪上廁所時間，讓主人很放心 自動清除大小便和除臭，還可以設定夜間勿擾，除了布偶貓等大型貓咪不適用外，簡直零缺點。希望公司盡快開發大型貓咪專用的自動貓砂機。

Happy with the products and the trial days lead me to purchase the apps. I get to know when my cats hungry cos the camera detects movement and I saw my cat is standing in front of the feeder feeling hungry during the off schedule meal time so I can dispense the food from away.

This is wonderful. Both cats are happy to use it. Although one still goes outside if it’s not raining. My older cat no longer likes to do her business outside. So far it is working well. I top up the litter when it needs it, change the disposal bag when it’s full (normally around once a week, this is with light use from a small cat)and have done a deep clean after 2 months. No problems with app. All working perfectly fine. It really does save a lot of hassle if you can afford it.

No notification neither history found after my cats using the machine since yesterday after app update.

昨日のお昼頃から、猫トイレの使用記録が記録されなくなりました。 アップデートがあったので、アップデートしても改善されず。 ただ、遠隔でトイレ清掃はできるし、『掃除中です。』の表示もされるのに、猫が使っても記録がされない。 昨日は午前中の3回のみの記録。 今日は使ってるのを見たのにまだ0回。 トイレ自体に影響は出てません。 記録がされないんじゃ意味がない。

For my cat I have both a fresh element mini and a dual hopper. The machines work very well but the app is atrocious as it keeps asking me to login again which is ridiculous.

ログインが切れていたのでログインしようと下記右下アイコンにあるAppleアカウントでのログインをしようとしたところ、なぜかX（Twitter）に飛ばされてしまいログインできません。 PETKITアプリ画面に戻っても画面中央で読み込み中のアイコンが回っているだけで他の場所を触っても一向に反応しなくなります。 アプリを閉じて再度同じことをしても無意味でした。 いつの間にかAppleアカウントでのログイン方法が出来なくなったのでしょうか？ この場合、新規にアカウントを作るしかないのかな🤔

We were able to monitor our two Bengal cats eating habits whilst away on holiday. Although we had a cat sitter in to give them their main meals, it was so reassuring to be able to see them eating. It was also useful to see when the dried food started to mount up, to be able to control or stop the biscuits from another country was amazing!! I can definitely recommend this item, especially if you’re like me, a worrier, to be able to see your pets live and see that all is well!!
