Why did you change it? It’s so annoying that it auto erases now?? Whyyyyyy!!!??? There’s no settings you can adjust to turn this off either?? Whhhhyyyy!!? I don’t want it to do that!? It means I have to ‘undo’ each and every time!??? Also when you select ‘New’ after saving down, it doesn’t just automatically take you back to your camera roll??? Like it used to. So you have to click more times to get back there?? It needs to take you back to the camera roll by default, and ideally, to the same spot you were last time you selected an image!! Don’t like the full screen canvas thing either!? Where’s the edge of the image field!!? Whhhyyyy??? NOT HAPPY with the update at all. Way more faffy. Looks stupid too. Add some settings that we can adjust - so we can set our preferences! At the very least. So annoyed I paid for this app! Was perfect before. Now finding it infuriating. Won’t be renewing subscription if above isn’t taken care of. Change it back! Or give us the option to control these features!!

I tried my level best to get a clear and accurate cutout of a game character but the pic gives a look as if i have torn him out from the rest of the photo. Can you’ll please introduce a new feature which helps to make the cutout picture accurate and neat. Please reply as soon as possible. Thank You.

I love this app... I need to create png files often for my graphics and this is excellent. However...... There is one thing they HAVE to change.... When I have erased the background of an image, and I have been working on it for a while, with intricate areas, then hit the download button, it shows the two images, both with and without background. The first inclination is always to hit the house icon in the upper right. When you do this, you lose everything you just did. Instead, you need to hit the photo of what you wish to save. I have lost so much of my work by hitting this house icon....only to have to start from the beginning. The least you could do Is have a pop up window and ask if this is what you want to do, as a precaution. Easy..just a simple precaution. Otherwise, this is the best eraser app out there...so Thank You to the developers!!

I used this app because it was the best. Now it has been greatly expanded and improved. The new ability to edit foreground and backgrounds independently avoids the need to switch apps. There are a couple of quirks that caused frustration at first. The anomalous background that appears after reloadinng a previously edited image in the foreground. is confusing but can be removed by "editing cutout". Also the only way to stop auto background removal is reload the app and hit settings

....for me, anyway. This App is a masterpiece. From arts &crafts to AI, it subtlety becomes what all Apps and learning machines should be. We’ve gotten into many a-harry-situation, literally. We never surprised each other, we worked for it. We did some pretty dumb stuff, too. Real dumb. Funny. And we broke some hearts. It looks like MIT just created a machine that has learned to distinguish and extract the background of any picture instantly. Good. But there’s still moving pictures, and I got “Video 2 Photo-HD”, “ImgPlay” and a fresh stylis, some albums I’ve been meaning to listen to. Or maybe I’ll just sit in the quiet and ease into that uniquely honest focus with an old friend. I never did really know the name, it was always the “red one, with the race flag” to me. Still the fastest car when I’m driving. Thank you.

Ich hab schon so lange nach einer App gesucht, wo ich meine Sticker bearbeiten kann, wo ich meine Fotos ausschneiden kann und diese App ist einfach perfekt dafür. Man kann ranzoomen und kann dann so fein seine Bilder bearbeiten und man sieht dann nicht mal, dass man die bearbeitet hat. Es ist einfach perfekt also falls ihr noch sowas sucht ich hab so lange nach etwas kostenlosen gesucht das ist sogar kostenlos und funktioniert so gut. Also es ist nur zu empfehlen falls ihr auch so wie ich seid und schon so lange noch so eine App gesucht habt, ladet euch die runter, die ist für alles gebrauchen Kleine Info, bin 12 Jahre alt und ein Mädchen

This app blows every single other background erasing app out of the water so hard that even the water is blown out of the water, and all that’s left is this app. I’ve been taking photos of clothes for wardrobe cataloguing and the only thing I’ve had to edit so far was a little bit around the collar of a white T-shirt, that was hung on an off-white door. Otherwise, it nails it in one. And it’s not even expensive: the only thing that would make it better would be a lifetime purchase option - I would happily pay 3-4x what you are charging annually just to not have another subscription they drive me nuts.

When you want to remove a background, it allows access to folders that you put your pictures in making it very easy to edit but that’s only for removing backgrounds. Apparently if you’re trying to remove an image well you better scroll through 1000 to 10,000 pictures to find the one you want that you put in a folder to be edited in the first place again this might be an apple issue considering Apple likes to not work with a single company that exist on their platform unless it’s Apple they make it the most difficult compatibility almost in every single app and really in the AI world. You can’t even do simple things with AI if you have an iPad or iOS or Safari is not compatible most AI software out there.

Long story short. I use to draw and paint and even started writing a book. Well I’ve suffered with An involuntary muscle movement disorder for years Called Cervical dystonia. There’s so much in between but it is also associated with anxiety depression. There’s no good treatment and the medicine I did go on caused me to lose interested in Art and writing. Happy to say I’m off that medicine but even if I draw now I get hand cramps and I can’t even write for very long. I loved writing because cursive was also an art to me. Through the depressions I was still able to use apps that allow some tools to be used for free without eventually adding a fee. You and other founders of art apps that allow some free tools actually help me and I would guess others also through their depression and brought some comfort. So it’s not only a kind hearted things because people with limited means can use it; this app is also a blessing for people with depression or are going through some ruff times and can’t process their thoughts and feelings. So I want to say thank you so much for the use of your app over the years. God Bless You.

I was initially put off by recent changes in the app, but they’ve grown on me.

Pour moi l’effacement de l’arrière-plan automatique était privilégié. Et ça fonctionne plutôt bien. Puis sauvegarde du fichier .png pour d’éventuelles doubles expositions. C’est ok

I installed the app, tried it out, didn't like it, so uninstalled it, all on the same day. A few hours after uninstalling it, I was charged for a year’s subscription! Tried to contact Apple about it, but their subscriptions system says there is no charge showing up! Have asked for a refund from Apple and will see what happens. Apparently, subscriptions are charged immediately even with free trials, which is mad! That's like taking a car for a free test drive and being charged the full cost of the car before you get back to the showroom, then having to ask for a refund! Blaming Apple for this, not the developer, although the app page telling us this happens would help. Got refunded, so put up to 5 stars as the app itself is great. ☺️

It can’t perform a simplest function of eliminating the background. It is too complicated for a simple function. Not worth. Don’t buy.

I had to make a book cover so I drew pictures for it but the page was in the photo when I loaded it onto the website and this legendary app got rid of that whole problem

It’s a lovely little app to use, so simple to use, Amazing. I would guess a small child child could easily manage all the tools in the kit, As you say in your introduction that you don’t need to have Photoshop with all its baggage. You just open magic eraser app and away you go, you can experiment with all your photos on your iPhone and your iPad plus you can save them,This is within the free trial period so at the moment I am in the free trial period and do not know what I am going to do next but so far so good.

I’m not a good photo editor, I just need to change the background to white for my daughter’s photo for passport application. This is the first App I use and I think it’s easy. As far as I understand their website, It seems that they don’t collect my photo data. Thanks.

The eraser works well,it’s understandable that the subscription may have more stuff that you can work with.

I always wonder what happened. Whenever I save the photo, it doesn’t save! And I have to make it all over again :( sad. :(

Great app can’t fault it, does what it says on the box. I use it to make transparent banners and titles to drop into my video’s etc. One suggestion, it can only access the Photo app to import images and to save, able to access the Files app would be great, would save me a lot of time moving files used in my work flow. Using an image from Photos app dropped into a video as a Picture in Picture is sometimes corrupted appearing with a white background, this does not happen when importing from Files app, I don’t think this is a Magic Eraser issue just some of the weird the things Photos app does. iPad Air 4, iPad OS14.6, iMovie 2.3.2

Best apps for delete background easy to use Only one click

this app is the best!! There is nothing really complicated about this app, and it gets the job done. It’s completely free too. There is no monthly fee, nothing. The only money thing involved is premium, which you don't have to get to have the main features. It’s a really good tool to have if you need to ever do any editing. One thing that would be great, is if the app could have a feature where you can get multiple edited pictures, and put them onto background. But i don't even rally need that to still love the app. I only downloaded it half an hour before i wrote this review and i managed to make a beautiful picture of my dog on a rainbow background. I love this app already!!! So i would strongly recommend that you download this app, its free, and totally worth it. If you don’t believe me, check it out yourself!! It’s easy to use, free, helpful and creative!!

FIRST OF THIS APP IS AMAZING! It’s perfect for making Memes in Gacha but you will have to look up some tutorials how to make them but it’s simple and it’s easy I learnt how to do it straight away! (Instructions) = just go to ur page and a new click on the Picture you want and use the Magic pen and tap it on the background then hit the Arrow inside the square then hit the Picture with the chequered background and pick high Quality and it saves then you just add it to an editor like alight Motion/FlipaClip literally any editing app and it works! 🤩👏🏻✨👌🏻✨👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🔥🔥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great for removing background but could add a feature to smoothen borders/edge after background is removed. I really don’t mind paying for for this that additional function.

I recently found this app, and it’s surprisingly really efficient! I love how close you can zoom in, how you can change the picture’s angle, and adjust the softness of the brush. So far, I’m absolutely enjoying it and have been able to make some really good renders, plenty better than the previous app I was using. My only problem is how easy it is to lose all my progress. They can take a long time to make, so I don’t always do it in one standing. Whenever I exit an app or turn off my device, I always fully close out the app to save battery, but whenever I close out this one (which has happened a lot), all my progress is instantly gone and I have to restart. Aside this, though, I have basically no complaints! I’ll definitely continue using it a lot and strongly recommend it to anyone who regularly makes renders while trying to go for the highest possible quality.

I like it! The auto cut doesn’t cut well though and it didn’t come that useful. That was the main reason I didn’t use it much. I am not patient so if you made the auto cut cut better that would be great! I would also recommend that you add video background eraser because I don’t know how to green screen yet and that would be useful. Also, the green screen would be a good idea because that would give consumers more of a reason to get the app. Plus, it makes MagicEraser unique and different from the other erasers. It still works and I would have used it more if I was more patient. I would also suggest that you make it so the premium ad doesn’t pop up right when you open the app. It can get annoying because I don’t spend money on apps and it looks like the app is basically begging for money. It is a pretty cheap part of the app, making it less useable. But other than my suggestions, the app is great and is still useable.

At first this app seemed so cool! I really liked it for my edits for social media and I thought it was superb! Then every time I went to save my edits to my camera roll an ad popped up and the screen froze. So then I flicked my tabs but I keep having to redo the whole photo because when I flick my tabs it disappears. I have full bars of internet so I know there is nothing wrong with my wifi. Anyways just thought I’d let the company know to see if they could make any changes or try and fix this. If not, I’m sure it’s not anyone’s fault! Other than that it’s pretty good. 👍🍌

Ich benutze die App schon seit Jahren immer mal wieder gern. Nur kommt es leider oft nach Updates vor, dass diese nicht mehr wirklich nutzbar ist, da der Bearbeitungspunkt ganz wo anders ist, als der Finger oder Pencil. Daher nur 2 statt 5 Sterne. Nach der hilfreichen Antwort des Entwicklerteams kann ich endlich die 5 sterne geben, die diese App verdient. Vielen Dank!!!

I am using this app for already around 5 months and it’s going really good! But after I delete some things with the magic wand, there’s still an outline of the background you deleted with the magic wand. I hope you can fix this and make the background completely gone after using the magic wand. But still an amazing app and it’s definitely recommended! Just little things that aren’t perfect.

This is so helpful for making gacha movies and edits! When I saw how to edit the apps some people was using was expensive it made me sad but I found this and OML I opened to a good world of creativity only the best apps are for free! Anybody who would like to get this app I HIGHLY recommend getting it it’s super good! Except the adds, but this app is great nothing could beat it, the only bad thing is.... the magic wand is a bit spastic it doesn’t know the separate of light grey and white or a darkish grey and a black even if you can see the black is different for the magic wand but that’s ok! I recommend to not use a dark colour and a black background or a light colour and a light background make sure they aren’t similar but I really do HIGHLY recommend getting this app!

When I had this app it was amazing! But something happend that almost all my apps were gone, and this app was gone. I tried getting it back and it didn’t I kept trying and nothing happens, I waited, waited....nothing happend. Over all, this game is great.

It’s pretty good but if it was having advice from me I would say you need a bigger rubber like they need this thing where you can have the sizes and stuff with the rubber and with the retouching whatever you call it you have to have that because now I’m just removing stuff without a big Robert it’ll take me ages it is annoying but still the app is very good you should definitely get it and like my advice definitely get it but and also it is quite cool yeah so also for kids I would say it is a and up tow and up oh and you have to pay for quite a lot of things so I think they should fix that too because it is just annoying because I’m not allowed to 💰 💰💸💸💷💷💶💶💴💴💳💳🕳🕳🕳🕳🕳🕳🕳🥇🥈🥉🏅🏆🎖🏵🎗🎫🌵🌺🐚🎍🍁🌾🥀🎍🍀🍂
