Bought to hook up to my powerstroke and can only select up to 6 cylinders. No 7 or 8 to select so doesn’t help me on misfires or diagnosing injectors.

Waste of $7. It cannot do anything my Autel scanner can't, which cost me several thousand dollars. I wish I could get my money back. Atrocity of an application.

Won’t connect with my obd2

Ever since the last update 1 5 30 it will not connect with this app. Before update it connected

I have bought this App expecting to even Conect to a Wi-Fi device! It’s not working with my iPhone over Bluetooth! Other Free Apps are working over Wi-Fi! And it doesn’t even have an option to choose between Bluetooth or Wi-Fi! 100% DONT RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!

Had someone recommend this app to me, bought the app and a $150 Bluetooth obd2 reader, just to find out it can’t even connect to my truck. Won’t rule out some possible user error but overall still a bit disappointed.

Paid $6 for nothing. My ELM327 works with a few other apps but not this one. No settings to help connect. Don’t waste your money.

It is absolutely useless. It will not connect to my iPhone17 it will connect your Bluetooth. It won’t connect via the $35 I bought. I even bought an adaptor… waste some money why not thanks forscan

This app should be called ForScam

It doesn’t even seem to attempt connecting Bluetooth.

Got it to connect to my ford transit 2020 once, and even when it did it would not load the live data at all. I’m using the OBDLink MX+ and nothing. Garbage app and UI

I have Forscan and it connects and pulls codes. This version won’t even connect. I want live data. Now I read this app has issues. 👎👎

Since update it will not work with iPhone 11 … idk what the issue is but never had a problem until now

I purchased the OBDLink adaptor so I could use this software to bleed my brakes. The example screens show this option. The option does not show up on the service screens. If you don’t support this I would like a refund. That is the only reason I bought the adapter and software.

Why? Mode 6 test is so very helpful why remove it?????

I have tried three different elm scanners and this app will not connect to any of them and then it tells me I’m not elite for a refund 30 mins after buying it

Not useful for any adapter you have to have specific ones, and its still not the complete app, i would like a refund if available i literally was not able to use it for anything

I bought the app, the recommended obd connector, and I get an error that it’s unable to identify my vehicle. Being an idiot, I got a windows laptop, bought the license for the desktop FORScan app, and got the same error. Contacted developer as instructed and a week later I’m still dead in the water, so to speak. I tried on both of my new Fords (Ranger and bronco) and both threw the same error.

I suppose it works, but it looks like this app was made on a 90s PC. It could also have more functionality. Please developers, I paid for this.

Can’t get to connect to obdlinkmx+.

App does not work with a iPhone 14, paid $7 for it to not even load correctly and when it does it won’t connect to the scanner at all

Not worth buying for iOS platform. Can’t really Do anything.

This app did not allow me to connect to my car

I bought it and was charge a subscription and not a one time payment and it does not shows the subscription on my phone I had to call Apple to cancel it

I have a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid and after last week's update it doesn't connect. The connection icon goes green but it never fully connects. The blue led on the adapter keeps blinking never goes solid either. Please revert back to old version

Frustrating app. Keeps giving me error that it can find connection. Wired hard from 327 to iPad with adapter. Every time gives me error. New 2023 Ford F150 XLT. FRUSTATING!

New buyer Jan 2023. Unfortunately the app would not connect to my high quality ODB Bluetooth device. The device works perfectly with other similar software, in the car in question. I purchased Forscan to get additional functionality for a specific car brand. Obviously, I cannot recommend the app.

No ‘Invitation Code’ was sent so I can’t register to use the app. I’ve used the free FORscan app before on another vehicle and it’s really a great app that saved me a lot of time and money, but the one I paid for I can’t use yet. Go figure right..? Two stars only because of a correctable oversight I’m sure.

02-26-2022 Re using iPhone 13 pro: What I find disappointing the greatest about this is when you go from selecting Pids to dash view it will not return itself to view instruments on dash. My friend who is a 18-year software developer for aviation equipment and also a dev for an open source FPV flight software equipment he and I spent two hours and a half contending with this thing and it’s just no anywhere near where it should be even on a bad day. Nobody likes to completely exit the program to go back to the dash view area! Essentially starting over from re engaging connecting to the wifi every time you want to go to Dash viewing after selecting pids. I’d rather see them pay me to utilize this program vs me pay them.

Wow I was so excited to see that forscan was updated to work with iOS, I have a blue tooth 327 adapter it works on my computer but not showing why I can barely move, thought the update would be better as it has been a few years. No it won’t connect, I have a k-3 brand if I can find it, looks like you need that adapter for I phone don’t see that in the reviews , was optimistic because the free version helped me even cleared old codes on my laptop Bluetooth But wont connect with I phone.

Won’t connect to my OBDII reader. Other apps have no issue. This one can’t see it even though Bluetooth is connected to it.

I’m guessing iPhone updates killed this app off. I no longer can connect to the vehicle. It says it did and shows he info then that’s as far as it gets. Laptop is is for the real version to run.

Leiter erst mal nur ein stern. Habe jetzt 5 verschiedene Bluetooth Adapter versucht und mit keinem kann eine Verbindung aufgebaut werden. Welcher Bluetooth Adapter funktioniert mit der app?

It specifically says that it works for OBDLink MX+, but it can’t connect to it. Waste of money.

Is not working with the WiFi OBDII

I only have 25% chance to connect, never worked stand alone, I have to connect through diffrent scanner app, and then quickly switch apps and sometimes it freeze in a middle sometimes connect but not working, and sometimes works as it should I can do injectors calibration dpf test and regen, but NEVER can’t check chain stretch. Just spent money and cant really rate it more than 1 sorry.

The demo one is working and when purchasing the lite version won’t connect, i highly doubt that this product is a scam

Iphone XR , Vgate icar pro BLE obd adaptor, 2011 Ford vehicle, 3 other apps connected within seconds, obd fusion works, car scanner works, OBD auto doctor works, yet forscan supposedly for Fords will not connect. Apparently no elm device connected, yet all other apps have no problems, go figure. Spent a couple of hours trawling support and internet, enough time wasted. Hopefully vgate icar pro gets support some time. Disappointed with app and connection options in it.

Other ODB reader apps connect to my Bluetooth 4.0 ODB2 adapter just fine, but ForScan can’t detect it. Please improve the compatibility.

Very disappointed. The app initially connected fine with my OBDLink mx+ Bluetooth, but then only connected intermittently and now not at all. That is a shame because I could get the PIDs I was after and they displayed well - hence two stars rating rather than one. Perhaps wifi is a better option. However useless to me due to lack of connection.

No Iphone conecta automaticamente via Bluetooth, muito bom, recomendo.

Works well in general, but it doesn’t recognize my F150, so I have to drag out the laptop version instead.

Good app. Needs to be updated to 2026. Interface is so old school. Just saying….

Not much more to say other than it works great for diagnosing. Pretty crazy to think that I used to have to go to my buddies repair shop and use their crazy expensive snap-on reader to do exactly what this app can do.

Works well with OBDLink MX+ great to have on the phone when I don’t have my laptop at hand!

Gives me real time data when connected to ODBink MX+. Amazing tool, 10/10 value

The only issue I found is Mode6 is not working. It starts to run then the app crashes

Transmission learning table reset, learning pause, resume, and module reset worked great on Navigator with OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth. Connectivity was easy but if you encounter any issues you should kill the app using the swipe from bottom iPhone app feature.

It’s a lite app, 100%, but for quick scan or simple reset, combined with a Bluetooth OBD it’s easy and portable and doesn’t require my laptop

This is a great scanning software with a lot of features. I only wish the app was able to do what the windows software could do, especially for the iPad app.

There is a competitor that allows this on iOS. Update the app so we can make programming changes. I get not changing codes, but you could add the ones with known codes so we can make changes easier on the go.

This app offers excellent value for money. It's great for most diesel Mazdas as well. I use it regularly in my work, and it has proven to be very reliable. Use with caution without expertise!!!

When I first used the app it was working fine. Now after a couple of months I use the app the app doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth VLinker FS scan tool. I updated my scan tool firmware and I can’t connect to FordScan Lite.

Make sure you buy a compatible OBD adapter before you buy the app. I bought the OBDLINK MX+ No it isn’t cheap, but it works. And works very well. It and the app work wonderfully with my 2013 F-150. I’ve used it to reset codes, run diagnostics, etc.

How to start DPF regeneration on Ford Mondeo while driving on highway? I hope to develop this function so that I can clean dpf on the highway.

I use this with the recommended OBDLink MX+. It is convenient to use and like that it is with me on trips. I like the diagnostics but also the service procedures. Highly recommended!
