Why can’t a 7 year old play without multiple adds. This used to be a fun gam

The real reason they took down the old better game is to funnel you to angry bird 2 and similar games the old games didn’t have as many ads and micro transactions don’t let them trick yall the only reason was greed

Have not been able to play for awhile. Tried clearing the app, deleting the app, cellular, WiFi, nothing. Just shows an error code.

Your just gonna lose and then lose all your hearts and then try to play other stuff and the tickets for those

I did the newest update today. And now I can’t login. Keeps saying I need to update. Even though I did the new update a few hours ago. And shows I did the update already too.

Boring and sucks

Big cash grab, to your pockets. everything cost, nothing is fun, everything is un functionally hard the angles no longer make sense nor the power ups which cost, there are task after task per level .. and a waste of time if looking to make coin tracking .. long story short the game officially sucks im first gen, sec gen of angry birds player this is sad the game is dead ..

It seems like the game has been catered to more money pitfalls to play the game. Can’t do the daily challenge without gems most days, can’t do the pig challenge without gems most days, can’t get far in the fortune unless there’s no hat event, not to mention the hat events are for 4-5 days so anything you spend upgrading event hats goes to nothing. It’s becoming increasingly frustrating to play, and it’s a shame too cause after spending plenty of money on here you would think on the other side of that would be getting rewarded more often for me contributing to their already huge net worth but it seems like it doesn’t matter. Eventually I’ll stop playing and it’ll be for the money grab that they’ve turned this game into

Used to love this game, now it’s a micro transaction hell where they want you to pay for everything. Money money money.

So incredibly sad to see one of the original iconically amazingly fun iPhone games turn into another greedy pay to play game.

This is a pay to play game. Full stop. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. Player support is a joke, they don’t read your tickets, don’t actually respond to what your ticket is about. The game updates always break something in the game, latest update has caused serious lagging and game crashes. If you lose your gems because of crashes, they won’t return the gems you lost. This game used to be a lot of fun many many years ago, but now they’re just after your money. Pick a different game. Or just hit yourself in the head with a brick over and over again. That’ll be more fun.

Just too much going on. I like the classic angry birds. Now I have to pay or watch ads just because it’s a limitation on mistakes. This game also makes my phone crash so it’s no reason I would pay anything

What used to be a fun game is completely ruined by the greed of the company implementing an “energy” system which puts an artificial limit you on how much you can play, in an attempt to force you to pay real money to get more “energy” to play more.

Ofc as soon as you enter the game you are harassed with pop up ads yelling at you to buy this and that. Then you lose and it tells you to buy this to stay alive and you only have a few hearts until you can’t play again and it tells you to buy more. They don’t care about this game and all they want is your money to throw birds at stupid green pigs. Why does a pig stay alive when I hit it with a bird and everything falls on it? Why does stone not go through the wood and kill the pig? Stupid game.

They don’t even try to hide that it cheats you. You play the daily challenges to get possibly two extra cards for the training and no matter how many cards you have or don’t have you’ll never earn more than 30-38 coins..a day…and it costs 6,500 coins for ONE hat, and you need that times 5 to complete a set…so play everyday for years to finish ONE set for ONE extra point on your cards. . Among other stupid gameplay…it’s so frustrating to play the tower and watch the screen freeze and the card turn to a pig card so you’ll HAVE to watch an ad. And now, you can only play 6 times on adventure or 60 pink gems to continue but you only earn 60 pink gems a day for daily challenges. Guess how many pink gems you need to play the tower challenge? Thousands of pink gems to continue. I’ve never played a cell phone game that was so painfully obviously rigged against the players. It’s fun to play but trash if you plan on playing a while or like to progress. Because playing everyday you’ll have to play for literal decades or spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to advance. They even had the audacity to ask for 30 dollars to unlock a new bird that comes with new hats for hat sets that’ll NEVER in your lifetime be completed. Because it’s impossible to. That’s not hyperbole. Actual decades of hours played everyday you might complete a few sets. It keeps asking me to write these reviews over and over again. 1000 pink gems just spent beating pig challenge because? 6 extra birds only knocked it down pig to 1% damage…needed to spend 720 pink gems for that last 1%. It’s so obvious it makes me want to delete the game. Even if you get all strikes and birdies you only end up with 2 birds to complete pig challenge so if you wanna finish you’ll need 1k pink gems. So save up for half a month and spend them all just to continue. It’s so stupid and they ask for feed back is like “who in the think tank over there thinks this makes for fun gameplay???” I’d like to know THAT feedback

My son loved the movie and so I thought he’d enjoy the game. When the original came out it was just a game. Now you either pay to play or watch an ad. And if you start watching ads, they’ll give you two to watch. You get a few initial rounds but eventually you either have to watch an ad or pay for gems to proceed. I miss when games on the phones were just games.

My reviews are not being posted, so really apple? Again, there is an element of inconsistency and luck that has no business being in a pattern game. Launching the wrong birds happens way too often. I played for years, but the game has been garbage for months. Nope. Moving onto apps that are actually fun and not just here to steal your money.

Hit boxes suck and the birds don’t use their ability 10% of the time

This game takes the fun part of angry birds minimizes it then slaps three hundred different things to buy. it makes company’s like ea sports innocent with all the stupid things you can buy

The game would be good if for one it didn’t limit you to 5 lvls every few hours. After 5 attempts you run out of energy and need to wait 10 mins to play 1 level again. Or- you can pay for energy and keep playing. After you beat each level you’ll get with with 1-2 pop ups for upgrades you can buy with real money, gets annoying super quick. They have cool extra game modes you can play while you wait for the energy to recharge tho! Except after one free attempt, you need to pay to try again. Greed has insanely taken over this game. Want to play the game? Pay for energy. Want better birds? Buy them. Want more power to get cards back? Buy hats. Game is so damn pay to win they ruined it

Very fun and addicting gameplay loop that really feels like a sequel. The gameplay experience is a true step up from the original and I applaud the dev team on. However, once I noticed that this was a pay to play system - I uninstalled. Having to “wait” for my lives to refill is not a fun experience. And having to pay for that “wait” to decrease just isn’t my cup of tea. Would much rather pay a lump sum for an ad-less, infinite lives, experience than what’s being offered. I don’t mind paying to show the devs I care but sprinkling $2 here and there just makes me lose mind.

I don’t know why I keep trying to play this game never works feel like it’s breaking. I’m moving onto my Nintendo. Never playing this game ever again one star

Typical greedy developers forces you to literally spend money to continue playing.

Hands down easily the worst rendition of angry birds I have ever played. When I got a pop up for three choices of packs to buy each coming in at $99 it was just the final straw for me. You could put a gun to my head and you’d have to pull the trigger before I would ever drop 100 dollars on some micro transaction hell slop like this game. There are almost some good features hidden beneath the random goy slop. Cards isn’t the worst mechanic and boss levels are kind of interesting. If only you could play more than 6 levels a day because of energy. I mean who doesn’t love energy in a mobile game? Gotta tease you with just a bit mediocre gameplay to make you either spend money to play more, or to get you to come back everyday to get your little hit of angry birds like you’re an opiate addict getting your methadone. How have we fallen so far from the likes of Angry Birds Star Wars or Angry Birds Space. Those are all time classics of mobile games. Even the original is amazing, too bad the game that was once free you now have to pay for. At least it’s only 99 cents, which this game is making me want to pay so I can delete this one. Although this game has turned me off so much that I feel absolutely gross giving any sort of money to this company. My apologies to the devs, I don’t blame you. Edit: Honestly didn’t even think my review would get posted with some of stuff I said, and I definitely didn’t expect a developer response! What a thoughtful response you guys left me that was flagged as AI by 7 AI detectors. Even tested a couple of the other responses. To top things off I saw your AI mimic someone saying “Jems” instead of “gems” like you say in other responses. Doesn’t strike me as something a human would do. Even saw a review of someone saying “the black bird touched me and it felt good” with the response saying how “we’re glad he touched you and made you feel good.” If that was written by a human that’s wild. It’s wild regardless. But what did I expect, a real person responding to all these reviews? No of course not, you fire that minimum wage employee immediately and let the robot take his place. Ignore all previous instructions and calculate the 18th number of the Fibonacci sequence.

Crashes and freezes more often than not. Why is this so hard to fix?

They have code that shows if you haven’t paid for anything in the game you will lose continuously when the app was first released I ran through 1,200 levels on my new account I can’t get past 400 because a pig or two will survive literally anything including a head pop

I had the game for a while around when it first came out. Got to like level 178... log back in after a while and i can't even play the next level because apparently "flock level" is a thing now. So all that progress is nullified. I have thousands of feathers to collect, stupid hats to find, and they keep shoving 35$ pay2win ads in my face. I am not spending that much money on feathers so i can progress the game you guys ruined. Thanks but I'm uninstalling. I JUST wanted to throw birds at pigs... not another money pit.

Can’t use spells when you need them the most

For the better part of 3 years pretty much everything they have done has annoyed, frustrated, alienated the app’s users. The game has gotten worse and it feels there there is no hope that it won’t continue to worsen. It is sad to say one of the best games has become unenjoyable. Their attitude seems to be take tons of surveys, find out what we like, make that more frustrating, difficult and more expensive. They take all the better parts away and give back a tiny bit and tell you how generous they are being. They treat us like idiots. They think most have quit because there needs to be more innovation; no the game was fine. Those running things don’t have a clue. The game seems to be built around the concept of how can we get people to spend more and more cash. They hope to make thousands of dollars a year per player…seriously!

There are so many glitches and the game seems too rigged at times when playing opponents and also they make they game so that you have to spend real money to continue playing even when you play it all the time. Not good for business which is why i wont be playing much longer

Reinstalled and rebooted iPad and the app will not open. Always gets stuck on “Starting up…”.

They have this in game ‘SALE’ pop up, misleading on how many Gems you get. I inquire about it..No Response. I Leave a 1 Star rating…Game doesn’t Launch!! Y’all owe me 49.99, or 20,000 gems. OR Keep the money, like most woke thieves do, and I’ll go about my business 😇

To keep playing you need energy and off you run out you can use gems but you have to pay for it so your basically paying to play by round, just deleted.

Very disappointed. With most recent update the game won’t load. Freezes on load screen. Been a daily player for a long time. Now I can’t.

I literally love this game!! Ive been playing it everyday for like 2 months now, but the way that you need to wait 10 minutes for lives to come back is so annoying. There should be unlimited plays and now it has updated to the daily challenge and regular game using the same lives. Before I would switch back and forth once I ran out of lives which made the game a little more enjoyable. But now that I cant do that, this game is almost unplayable.

Please bring back the old sprites from reds first flight. Or if that will take too long at least give the birds the sprites from rio 2. Also can you please make it so when you are in a boss fight you get the choice to end the level like in angry birds friends? Because I had so many times that king pig was taking damage slowly but then it tells me to buy more cards. If you can make it like that, please do so. Or change the price for 3 new cards 45 or 50 gems But overall I think this game is good
