我把应用内所有通知都关了，依然一直在弹出首页推荐到推送里。客服反馈依然是鸡同鸭讲，更新了一遍继续存在这个问题，只能在设置里关闭整个xhs推送太气人了

They decided there was a safety issue on my account, so they restricted the account access. No appealing granted, only to verify myself with upload of the passport. Yet their system is not capable of doing so. Tried to contact the support team, only bots were given unhelpful answers. Tried to Uninstall the app, didn’t work. Tried to have a new account, same issues happened.

They banned me after 2 days of having the account. Idk why coz I’m not a bot- I also wasn’t posting a lot. I didn’t post or comment any inappropriate stuff so it’s really frustrating. I only created an account on rednote coz I wanted to follow the love and deepspace cosplayers and also watch reels from people who went to AX expo. There’s more about that here than on IG. Then I got banned. Ways to appeal your account is frustrating too but I did email their customer support- both in Chinese and English. Though I’m hoping they will restore my account- I am not holding my breath too much. I can still view but I can’t follow or like anything. It sucks really

If that’s true, this isn’t just an employment dispute—it’s a company using its power to avoid paying an employee what they earned. Platforms like Xiaohongshu love to present themselves as creator-friendly and people-first. But when there’s money on the line, it seems those values disappear. A company that can allegedly fire someone right before their equity vests, question their performance after the fact, and drag the dispute through years of litigation has completely lost my trust. I’m done supporting a platform that appears to put capital ahead of basic fairness. Uninstalled.

My RedNote account was permanently suspended without a specific explanation or clear evidence of a violation. I appealed through the app, but only received a generic response and no meaningful human review. I am giving this rating because the account enforcement and appeal process is not transparent or fair.

I reached out to customer support, asking why they blocked my account. They refused to give any reason. They just block your account as they want

Even if you don’t need to do so now, but after you use your account for a while and have strong connection with your community and friends, Rednote will come for you and force you to show your identity.

It is distressing to imagine the OP’s frustration at being locked out of her account. Her post was a viral hit—an achievement every creator strives for—yet it was erased without cause. There should be no legal vacuum protecting platforms in cases of such arbitrary censorship.

This platform claims to enforce “community rules,” yet systematically silences feminist expression without clear justification. A female creator conducted a social observation experiment. She asked male users how much money they would require to become a live-in spouse (“marry into” a woman’s household). Many male users responded seriously, inflating the price to millions of dollars. She later revealed that this was a social experiment — the “man” described was, in fact, a projection of her own real-life conditions. She made no illegal, violent, hateful, or abusive statements. Nevertheless, her account was permanently banned. Content is removed not because it is harmful, but because it challenges male ego and social privilege. This is not moderation. This is selective censorship. If you are a woman, think twice before using this app.

There’s no option to select my nationality either — the option simply doesn’t exist. On top of that, there is no appeal button at all. I have never appealed before, so I don’t understand why there’s no appeal option or appeal count shown. So many features are completely restricted and I can’t do anything. I tried to contact a human customer service agent, but I can’t find one — there isn’t even a button. My app is already updated to the latest version. This whole thing is seriously affecting my mental state. I genuinely want to resolve the issue, but there’s absolutely no way to do so. No buttons, no options. 小红书是一个有3亿人使用的软件，算是一个大平台吧，结果人工客服像人工智能一样乱审核、乱判账号。首先，在我使用账号的时候先一天两回弹出来实名身份认证，在经过多次实名认知之后，未显示和提醒笔记异常和违规的情况下将账号永久封禁。为此我去该平台寻找相同案例，经过一帆学习平台运营知识，了解到是笔记问题，(该笔记内容仍有合规账号在使用)但是由于手机使用无法在账号被封了的情况下删除笔记。所以我在申诉的时候提到在账号解封后会删除笔记。但是审核并未通过。至此，我找到人工客服，跟她说明情况，她先告诉我笔记状态正常，我非常怀疑笔记状态显示正常为什么账号要被封禁而不是笔记违规删除笔记?这个问题得不到答案，因此我跟人工客服再次说明了申诉的理由，她给我找到专人审核。在经过一段时间后，得到的处理结果是不通过。我不知道专人审核是真实的有在看过我的申诉和我的账号之后再做的决断，还是盲目的觉得永久封禁的账号不需要仔细辨认就一票否决??再这样的情况下，我再次寻找人工客服，她只会像机器人一样给我说我永久封禁的账号已经是专人审核后的最终结果。对此，我非常不满意，因为小红书平台搜索有大量案例证明，在了解平台运营知识，认识错误之后，找客服能得到解决方案，但是我的客服只会踢皮。最终，我意识到我应当与该平台无缘，我想要注销账号，可是提醒我注销账号仍旧会强制保留我的身份信息以及不能再注册新的账号，对此，我深深的感受到了平台侵犯了我的隐私权，我继续找客服说明我的诉求由解封账号正常使用，变成解封账号注销不再使用小红书，那个客服不能解决给我转接到了什么值班室管理，依旧是一样的话术，我并不了解客服层级关系，但是都没有给到我解决方法。 所以以我目前的心情一颗星也不想打，不知道是人工客服不负责，还是专人审核误判。

Based on my experience, Xiaohongshu is very unfriendly to educational creators, especially those of us based overseas. Here’s why: I operate as a sole trader in the UK, which is a common and fully recognized business structure here, especially in the education sector. Unlike in China, we don’t need a company license to offer educational services. However, Xiaohongshu’s policies don’t seem to acknowledge this difference. Despite being officially certified by the British Council, my account was permanently restricted from posting any content related to studying abroad or student recruitment. After investing significant time and effort into building my presence, my account was blocked without any real solution. What’s more, the platform doesn’t recognize professional credentials like ours and requires UK-based creators to provide specific business certifications and pay fees—a system that simply doesn’t apply to sole traders. Because of this, I do not recommend Xiaohongshu to any educational professionals, especially sole traders outside China. The platform’s policies are impractical for us and end up wasting our time and energy.

During the registration process, the platform did not indicate that users were required to submit personal information or a passport in order to use the service. However, shortly after creating the account—before I even officially started using it—my account was suddenly suspended without a clear reason. Following the suspension, I submitted the requested documents as instructed by Xiaohongshu’s customer service team. They promised that the review would be completed within **3 days**, but it has already been more than **2 weeks**, and my account remains suspended with no resolution. Furthermore, Xiaohongshu now requires overseas users like myself to provide **international passports** in order to proceed. This requirement was never mentioned during registration, and I strongly suspect that the platform may be using account suspension as a means to force overseas users to provide sensitive personal data. This raises serious concerns about improper collection and usage of overseas users’ private information, and it unfairly restricts our access to the platform.

I started this app a few weeks ago and put some pictures of the stuff I am selling and got a customer who was a faker and I was gonna report. And right before I did that, your app banned me and changed my profile and everything, not allowing me to post anything or chat with other online people. I’m the one who got scammed and your app is banning me for it for safety regulations, that is so ridiculous and your app didn’t even ban the person who tried to scam me. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had on a social platform. And the AI helper didn’t even help anything. This is just bs. Banning the one who got scammed and not even punishing the scammer. Extremely disappointing.

Privacy Policy 2.8 - It clearly indicates that when users refuse to provide personal privacy information, it will not affect the normal use of other functions of the Xiaohongshu platform. These are the two privacy policies in the user agreement. However, when using the App, you can't use it without your real name. After consulting customer service, you still pretend to be stupid and ignore it, which violates the user's personal privacy rights.

Customer service only asks me to resubmit the same documents without proof of acceptance. This not only wastes time, but also exposes Taiwan users to serious privacy risks, as sensitive ID data is collected without accountability. ⚠️ If Xiaohongshu continues to ignore this, I will escalate to regulators and media, and make this issue public.

我怀着极大的失望和愤怒，就小红书平台当前形同虚设、效能低下的举报机制提出严肃投诉。作为一名长期使用并曾信赖小红书的深度用户，我近期遭遇并观察到的现象让我不得不质疑平台对维护社区健康环境的能力。 我理解平台内容审核的复杂性，但以下情况已严重超出可接受范围，并直接侵害了我的用户体验甚至个人利益： 当我发现平台上存在明显的网络暴力、恶意开黄腔、甚至涉及辱华等严重伤害民族感情的言论时，我严格按照平台规则进行举报。然而举报后，平台最常见的反馈仅仅是“已收到举报，将重点关注”。讽刺的是，被“重点关注”的评论或帖子，在举报后甚至几天后，依然原封不动地存在。更令人费解的是，有时举报会显示“举报通过” ’。但当我怀着平台已处理的心情再去查看时，那些被举报通过的评论/帖子竟仍然存在。 这些有害内容清晰明确地违反了小红书的社区公约（涉及人身攻击、色情低俗、危害国家安全与领土完整等），绝非难以判断的灰色地带。但举报后要么是敷衍的“重点关注”而无后续行动，要么是虚假的“举报通过”且无实质删除/屏蔽。 这让我对小红书团队的审核效率、执行力度甚至审核标准产生了严重的信任危机。 我作为用户，本应享受一个安全、健康的网络环境。但频繁接触这些举报无效的有害信息，严重干扰了我的使用体验，消耗了我的时间和精力，甚至可能对我的心理造成负面影响。平台未能履行其基本责任，直接损害了我的用户权益。而且这让我对平台的治理能力产生根本性怀疑。 我恳请小红书团队正视此问题的严重性和普遍性，立即采取切实有效的措施修复举报机制，履行平台责任，还用户一个真正安全、清朗的网络环境。我期待看到一个负责任的、高效的、对违规行为绝不姑息的小红书。

A complete trash. They locked my account for no reason, and because I’m not a Chinese Mainlander, I’m unable to unlock my account myself via the self unlock function they provided.(and they only provided that). Everytime I speak to the CS they will brush off my issue and lie about helping me. They kept promising to help within 48 hours but there’s no end to their 48 hours apparently. They even have my passport information, but it’s unclear what did they do with it. Maybe something illegal. Lousy app, extremely discriminating towards foreigners. Please avoid.

As a user since 2018, I have witnessed different changes over these years. And I’ve been writing notes recently as a creator about different art work over the world. However, I’ve got banned as my latest post about Hong Kong Art museum. I feel very bad and disappointed about the system rules and the useless customer service couldn’t help me even a little bit. I’ve been using this app over 7 years and I feel like it’s more ridiculous as now they have more users. They don’t respect the creators. It’s is user friendly I have to admit but for creators, please DONT USE IT!! THEY HAVE NO REASON TO FOREVER BAN YOU AND YOU WILL LOST EVERYTHING!

I’m a Canadian who used 小红书 and i’m so tired by the reposted tiktok content and tiktok content creators moving their content into this app. It was bad enough that tiktokers stole content from the creators, but they also deliberately ruined this app by changing the content flow. No matter how much I press “do not show content”, similar ones constantly appear. Americans, make your own app for once and quit trying to take over stuff, how typical.

I have a very serious privacy concern on this app from China. This app has obviously encourage the user can only talk “positive thing“ about China communist government. Because once you talk “negative thing“ about them，you will easily get block by this app. Moreover，this app need the user to log in via their phone number or even their identity card. I think these actions may cause serious privacy concerns especially this is a China app. It is very obvious that this app only copy the “rules and conditions in China” and paste it at other democratic country without change it to a more suitable version for democratic countries. Also, even you have change the app language to English, but the customer service still only support and reply in mandarin language only. After I stated out my these concerns, I think Apple should consider and take any possible actions to deal with this issue, protect the users’ privacy and also defend the democratic values. Thank you.

This app have no human right! The application staff never looked at the reality of the posting. The staff only block applications based on the envy of your visitors.

一款生活社区软件，动不动就是政治敏感禁言，即使你没说啥。而且你永远得不到答案什么是政治敏感

1.频繁无故敏感词无法发布，如果说确有违规，那么请指出问题所在，而不是像现在这样要么发不出去，要么被限制流量 2.一边提示“将对违规内容进行删除”，一边却让人根本无从查看到底哪个评论违规被删，虽然有申诉通道，得到的回复依然是刻板的复制粘帖语术，有意思吗？ 3.处罚不透明，限制言论自由，申诉无门，就此删除app，也会向身边的好友宣传这个霸道无耻的平台。

本以为能找到一个交流的港湾，结果就是说什么都违规，要么有广告嫌疑被限流屏蔽，要么违反民族情绪各种公俗，为虎作伥。只能留下些被阉割的猪吗？失望至极……
