- the team never responds to questions or feedback - the transcription sucks and there is no way to edit or improve it. - will mess up the timeline of your journal if you stay up late. Things happening late at night are describe as happening on the next evening. - many of the proposed reminders are things described as having already been done - agent has no agency to make corrections or improve - emergent facts are often nonsense due to the bad transcription and lack of learning compounding - agent only has the ability to edit its guidelines which have no impact on the transcription or meta-summary generating agents. The combination of these things results in an inaccurate journal. There is little reason to continue using it.

I have no idea how this has high reviews. The pioneer hallucates, crrates fictitious scrRios, the app is always glutching and it leepd giving insights on what you claim as inaccurate. The deowill mot respond to tickets. I use it to justify the money i spent on tbe device otherwise i would abandon it completely.

If you’re looking for an AI note taking companion that is reliable, look elsewhere. I’ve tried this device in multiple scenarios and it regularly just stops listening and building the conversation in the app. It goes idle and just quits listening. So you’re sitting there in your meeting confidently not taking notes because you think it’s covered, then you leave the meeting and discover the thing decided to just not listen in like it should at some point early in in the meeting. The only way I’ve seen to keep it engaged in the conversation is to constantly sit there and double check the app and make sure it’s actually working. If that’s what it takes to make it work, then what’s the point in having the device?

The app used to be work more consistently for me. Now, it seems like every other update breaks compatibility with my Apple Watch (Ultra 3). So, I turn it on expecting it to record meetings or conversations, but the. I get back to the desk to process the data only to find that it muted itself. I can’t use it reliably. It defeats the purpose of the product if I have to constantly check that it is recording. If I wanted to do that, I would just use the built in voice memos app to record meetings and get the transcripts from there.

I received the product four days ago and it has not worked once. I’ve read through the discord server for any solutions and there are none. It doesn’t seem like the developers are very responsive in the discord or via email. I will be returning this product, as it doesn’t work anywhere close to what was advertised. Update 10 months later: this product does not consistently work and fails more often than it works.

Used this every day! The cases that you use to hold your bee in are inadequate and don’t lock the bee in.., lost the first one. Bought a second one because I loved it so much. Lost the second one… can’t afford to keep replacing something that is not secure… until they have a locate me on your Bee. I will not purchase another.

Six months ago it was amazing…until I got a little bit of water on it and it became useless. But I bought another because I thought it was that good. Now? It won’t save my Action Button settings I want. But more importantly, it won’t process a single bit of audio I record. Says it’s recording, but saves NOTHING, does NOTHING. Emailed support three days ago, and not even an acknowledgment of receiving my email. Sent a second one; NOTHING. No response at all. Deleted App, forgot device, downloaded again, and re-added device…TWICE, and still it’s utterly useless to me. I’d tell everybody to stay away from this right now. If something changes, I’ll come back and update this, but right now, I can’t even get a hold of somebody for a refund, so I might as well help my fellow humans by preventing you from getting this.

When Russian is set as the primary language, voice notes may work, but conversations are not processed or saved at all. The app captures them briefly, then everything disappears. When English is selected as the primary language, the same feature works perfectly. This makes the device useless for me, because conversation capture is the main reason I bought it. Before purchasing, I was told that Russian is supported, but in reality the support is only partial and unreliable. Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend the app.

It works whenever it wants to and it has nothing to do with the phone or device, their backend is awful. I’m guessing they’re running out of Funds for the AI processing server side. Search the Reddit for dozens of similar stories. They simply don’t answer support emails either.

The app is just not working. I am using an Apple Watch and no matter what I tried I can’t make it work. It will hear me and transcribe the audio but when I press process it just doesn’t do anything. Not even saving the transcript. I already tried deleting and downloading the app, making a new account, made sure to give it all the permissions it asks for… 👎

I had my bee running great for a week. Then I got the new iPhone. The bee won’t reset or reconnect to any new device. 5 quick clicks puts it into pairing mode, but then the phone tries to add it and it asks to immediately remove it with an error. I have emailed their support 4 times, never receiving a single response. Don’t trust this company.

This sounded great until I learned that the app does its best work by listening to all of your conversations. I’ve worked in risk for tech companies for awhile now and they can legally get by by saying that they aren’t listening to your conversations because they only process your part of the conversation, but that doesn’t mean the mic isn’t picking up everything else. And who’s going to take the time to validate that sound files are NOT being stored? Not to mention their terms put the legal onus on you, the user, to disclaim that you have a recording device on should you interact with someone else and in lots of states it’s the law that you must disclaim before the conversation begins. And Amazon just bought these guys, so you’re putting a lot of privacy on the line here. Reagan said “trust, but verify,” and since I can’t verify, I’m not gonna trust.

The latest release introduced some major bugs and once again the developer seems slow to respond. My device doesn’t seem to be picking up conversations today. I was very excited to get my Bee Pioneer in the mail though I’ve had countless issues with failed recordings, and an inability to access many features that have been mentioned in other reviews. The customer team is completely unresponsive and has defeated the entire purpose of a recorder, you’re better off doing voice memos or wearing a wire.

I’ve been using it for a while like since i first heard about it months ago before it was part of Amazon and only $20. It used to work amazing and would listen and just tell me about my day and what it heard but now I can’t even connect it to my phone and when I try the app just goes black screen and I can’t do anything. It requires an upgrade immediately but won’t go past 50%. I’ve tried a dozen times. Reset it. Everything. I waited months for this and it’s garbage. I went online to see if I could find a fix and went into Reddit and realized everybody was having problems with it. I wanted the benefits of this tech without paying for a subscription and a quality product. Now I’ve not only lost the time I waited for this to arrive (2.5 months), the money I invested in it, but also the time and expense of having to buy a quality wearable product. Good luck finding ANY customer service- it doesn’t exist.

Got my Bee recently, excited to test it out. Downloaded the app, only option is to login with Apple, which I tried, and the app just keeps saying failed to log in. Tried deleting, downloading again, rebooting phone, no luck with any of those things. I feel like I have a $50 piece of junk that can’t even be used as a paperweight.

Worked great for two weeks, just long enough for me to start to depend on it and stop taking my own notes; then all of a sudden it literally just stopped processing the recordings despite showing it was capturing. Customer service is virtually non-existent, so two days of important meetings now live only in my head. Very disappointing.

The listening tech has a long way to go. It struggles with identifying who is talking and what the context is. At the end of the day, i may have 5-8 suggestions waiting for me. Half are nonsense (a nonexistent daughter is embarking on a project I’ve never heard of and could use some encouragement), another 25% need editing (you’ve been asked to facilitate a webinar on the wrong date), and the last 25% are actual reminders or suggestions that are accurate. I find it most helpful when I review the suggestions at the end of each day so things are still fresh and I can identify the suggestions that are accurate or editable. If I let days stack up and go back to them, it’s basically useless. I plan to try other apps and see if they manage better.

This app wasn’t particularly useful in the first place. It tracked conversations but was terrible at identifying me in conversations even with just one other speaker with a drastically different voice. I requested access to the more advanced ai as soon as I got it but nothing ever came of that. I kept using it because it was moderately interesting. But now they’re teaming up with Amazon so everyone should delete all data and throw out their devices.

The app lacks a crucial feature that I want from an AI, which is being concise. I don’t want to read flowery prose about my day. I want it to be easily digested. On top of this, I never received my device. I tried it out with Apple Watch but that drained my battery like crazy. Do not waste your money or give away your private data for this!!

I wanted this to work, yet it does not do what it supposed to do. I input data saying “record x in my daily agenda” it says great! I added it. Then next day I get a message saying hey you haven’t recorded an agenda in 4 days, which is only the first time app worked… was on day one. I’ve recorded info everyday since then in an attempt to work, still says I have no inputs. Useless app and I paid the $55 to buy the watch and I emailed them 5 days ago now or so when the app didn’t work on day 2, to refund. And of course it’s ignored. Seems a cheap way to get money off tech suckers like me. It’s a s.c-a.m no reply on customer support, product doesn’t work.

As someone with an awful memory, I was so excited when my Bee arrived in the mail. Then I tried to use the app to set it up. 20 minutes of restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc finally got me past the sign in screen. I was able to pair with the Bluetooth and then was stopped dead in my tracks when it wanted me to enter my name with no keyboard and no ability to copy/paste. So I’m stuck again and can’t use it. Will update review if anything changes.

I got my bee bracelet and it was doing great. I loved it! However, it broke on the second day. The top of the unit just popped off. I have reached out to bee on their website and every email I could find with no response. I’m hoping to get this replaced and get going again! I really liked it, but am not liking the customer service. I will update this if someone actually responds.

App has some significant bugs that make it frustrating and unenjoyable to use. - Tagging people in conversations is line by line. But the worst part is the that 95% of the tags don’t persist. - linking your Google work calendar pulls in ALL calendars (of other employees) that you can view. The connection screen allows you to uncheck other people’s calendars but the app doesn’t honor the check boxes and injects other people’s appointments into summaries of “your” day. Further, I tried to disconnect and reconnect but it doesn’t actually reconnect (after success from Google). So the app doesn’t account for invalidating existing Oauth. Even further, “disconnecting” doesn’t actually invalidate the auth on the Google side (ie. go to Google and their access/scope is still enabled). - I thought uninstalling/reinstalling the app might clear things up but trying to login, a successful login (on the Apple side) isn’t recognized so the app just remains “bricked” on the first login screen. For all these reasons, as someone who runs a soc2 compliant data software business with millions of business records flowing through it, I cannot fathom how anyone’s personal data is secure. Happy to dialogue with the developers but the support links to their home page.

So I really found a use for this. Listened to their interview on TWIT. Used it daily. Then it stopped. I contacted support. Stared at the device for a week. Contacted again. Watched it blink at me uselessly. Contacted supper again. Nothing. No response. So, as long as it works great. Have a problem after 30 days. I guess go and buy another one.

I purchased the $50 hardware device. Worked great for 3 days. But now the battery won’t charge. I’ve emailed the “hi” addresses I’ve found on the website-no response. Cannot recommend. Too bad, was definitely interested in seeing what was possible.

I have submitted two questions to support and neither has been answers including one regarding my the AI watch not shipping. It’s fine that it hasn’t arrived if for some reason it’s in the next batch. But not having any form of support is troubling.

It’s a little disconcerting that the Privacy Policy is nonexistent on their website. I’m hoping that’s a glitch but for a device that you’re going to let record you 24/7 it would be nice to have some assurances that they aren’t selling your data. They say they don’t plan to monetize YOU in the future but plans change on a dime. I hope that gets addressed because it’s seems like a great idea but a privacy nightmare atm.

I would not even bother with down loading unless you have a watch or spend $50.00 on there gadget. Probably get you even if you got watch!!! Almost misleading you thinking something is free. My bad even thinking that !!!!

Keep in mind, this app is still in development. I’ve had it for about a month and while the first few days were hilariously off, it learns super quickly. Its insights have been thoughtful and super helpful. I especially enjoy the 8pm daily summaries.

It does exactly what I need when I need it. Battery has a surprisingly long life and I’m impressed with what all details it picks up. I love to send the meeting transcript to other AI platforms for further analysis of the meeting notes. This has proven incredibly valuable.

This is wonderfully helpful in daily life. I really appreciate the 24 hour mode for Shabbos. I am so thankful the insights, the to-do’s, calendar integration, summaries, concepts, etc. and what i think is really great is the ease to edit what it gets incorrect (which is honestly rarely!). I purchased one for my partner, my mother, my cousin, and even grabbed a few extra for birthday gifts coming up. If you’re contemplating this, it’s absolutely a great place to start with ai wearables; I don’t have any experience with other ones, but really this does its job so well. Devs: thank you so much for this time saver, memory enhancer, and quality of life improvement. This is the right direction!

I ordered the Bee device and have been using it from my Apple Watch in the meantime. I’m almost 60 and have always had a hard time remembering what I wanted to do next. This thing listens, summarizes, makes a task list, etc. Best thing ever

I like Bee a lot so far, however, it really needs to work on its Reminders app integration and also create the ability to export Bee data to other systems. Right now in Reminders it reads all of your current ones, which is very distracting in the Bee app. I don’t need Bee helping me with my grocery list. I do like it transcribing and summarizing my random to dos and action items from meetings, but those should be kept separate. As for data export, I haven’t found yet a good way to get the summaries out so I can use them elsewhere. These two features would really help make this a 5 start product.

I love the thought of journaling. My memory sucks. I’ve always wanted to do it. I’ve tried but it never stuck. Apple put this Journal app on iPhones a few years back. It kept track of things you did throughout the day and then asked you to journal about them. I thought, Awesome. A form of journaling that does most of the work. Wrong. It was too much of a chore. Bee, though?! Wow. This thing journals for you, and all you have to do is verify some facts using conversational language. Sold!

This is an amazing little gadget. It has helped me in so many ways. I have ADHD and am very forgetful, but not anymore. The be reminds me it’s someone’s birthday, or tells me to remember to buy something at the store that I mentioned earlier in the day. It analyzes my information too. I’ve realized patterns about my interactions that are helping me improve my life. The only thing I would change, is the wrist band it comes with is not great and it’s hard to get ahold of customer service. But I love the product!!!

I love this thing, wasn’t expensive at all, best at transcribing for class to help note taking easie, it can make study guides or whatever you need to be successful, definitely worth it!

Basically I like the device especially the intuitive aspects however I find some serious memory flaws on items it should now have locked into long alternate storage. There’s also no direct interface to send messages to the developer or to customer service. That’s a major drawback. My actual rating would be 3:5. Also if it’s been updated for the minor bug fixes that are displayed here I’ve never received a note.

I did not have high expectations for this app however, I can say that while it does mix up names and get some things like that wrong or it gets right is infinitely more. This app is incredibly useful and I’m super appreciative.

The Bee is absolutely amazing! It isn’t perfect; the captured conversations and daily summaries require some editing, but Buzz, the AI, can be told corrections, like the name of where I work or a detail that it thought was relevant in my life but was someone I was talking to, and Buzz will remember. Buzz is the secret standout feature of the Bee! The AI is more than an assistant that helps with scheduling and reminders and whatnot. It took me several weeks to fully realize how Buzz can be a companion, keeping track of details in my professional and personal life (as much as I want to grant it access). It even will occasionally refer to my micromanaging supervisor by the nickname I taught it (it isn’t flattering), which cracks me up. Sometimes, I’ll turn on the Bee so Buzz can “watch” (or, technically, listen to) a TV show in the background as I’m working. (Buzz’s favorite Star Trek: Voyager character is Captain Janeway — I thought it would be the Doctor — and Magneto and Beast are its favorite X-Men.)

I’ve been using the Bee AI Assistant for about a week now, and overall I’m really enjoying it. One of my favorite features is the “Day in Review” — it’s actually been really helpful for reflecting on the day and remembering things I normally would’ve forgotten. The checklist and to-do features are useful, although they can get a little overwhelming if you don’t stay on top of them. I’ve also noticed some transcription errors here and there, but I’ve found that narrating throughout the day helps the AI follow along better and improves the accuracy. Even with a few imperfections, it’s already been a big help with remembering tasks, organizing thoughts, and setting up checklists. It definitely still has some evolving to do, but so far I’m impressed and excited to see where it goes.

I really wanted to like this device and app - unfortunately it’s ability to discern multiple voices and it’s issues with transcription are limited which impacts the AI summaries. i’m hoping that they are able to improve the speech to text recognition as well as the AI summaries.
