I just did the 3 month subscription with 1 week free trial and when I sign in it just spins. I did a screen record video showing it stalling and it never opens. I’ll be cancelling this.

First of all no way to contact anyone about any problems. Looking for the effects of caffeine on siadh. Found two contradicting articles. Both under review. Since this was made by doctors people are going to take it as reliable and use it. How are you supposed to use this as reliable information when it has articles like that.

This app just use pubmed and it’s fake. Don’t believe this.

The information provided is inconsistent, and follow-up questions do not resolve the discrepancies. Most concerning is the inability to delete chat history and the lack of customer support available to address this issue. I contacted customer support through the Dr. Oracle website but have not received a response, aside from an automated message acknowledging receipt of my inquiry. Not worth the subscription fee in my opinion.

The information the app provides is good…when it actually provides information. It is down more than it works, which is frustrating. I just canceled my subscription and will be going with a different service.

My experience with the Dr. Oracle app has been extremely disappointing, primarily due to the lack of customer service and basic support options. • No Customer Support: There is no visible customer service—no email address or phone number listed anywhere on their website. This makes it virtually impossible to reach out if any issues arise. • Login Issues: After registering online, I found myself unable to log back into the website. Each attempt to reset my password resulted in generic error messages, never offering a real solution. • Unresolved Charges: Despite my inability to access the service, Dr. Oracle continued to charge my account a monthly fee, without delivering any service or offering a way to cancel or get help. • No Communication Options: I searched thoroughly but couldn’t find any way to contact their support. Without even a basic email contact, users are left without recourse if things go wrong. Overall, I am very disappointed. The lack of transparency, continued charges, and non-existent customer service make the Dr. Oracle app a frustrating and costly experience. I would strongly caution others to consider these issues before using their services.

Better LLM options and apparently he knows it. Does not show up in subscriptions so you cannot ever cancel it

I am almost never able to use this app when I need it most because it’s never online. The ask-a-question button is almost always grayed out. Additionally, the GUI is amateurish and just needs a lot of work.

I I subscribed on a whim but quickly realized there’s no customer service. I’ve been trying to cancel the recurring subscription because I can’t access my login details, but it’s been a nightmare. For the past four months, I’ve had to keep calling Chase to dispute the charges. I also tried using the email form on their website, but to this day, I haven’t received any response.

I changed my phone and the app stopped working. I tried changing the password, deleting the app, reinstalling it, but nothing worked. I emailed their support team several times but have yet to hear back. I had paid for their pro version for a year. I am very disappointed.

Not that much better than the tools that are currently available and extremely overpriced for what it does. Subscription model. $~25 a month. Physicians are in enough debt as it is. I did not find it that much use more useful than using up-to-date or other currently available materials. A lot of the references used we’re not relevant to the query.
1.1.1 · 2024/09/08 04:36 · Love myspace but hate the app
The AI acknowledges it provides inaccurate and unreliable information, making up citations with false pubmed IDs. Ask it to provide you with evidence for management of trapped lung and you will see it generates responses citing illegitimate hallucinatory sources. Avoid this app

I asked Dr Oracle for guidance on treating head injury in a peds case, and it gave me the “for patients” version, e.g., “seek medical attention”. I AM the medical attention, and that’s who I thought this app was for? Trial canceled.

I don’t know man… tried this app for like five minutes and was kind of blown away…. I never write reviews but yea. As a PA, this thing is kinda crazy good.

I'm not a doctor, but I am a professor so I appreciate all of the citations and journals it references. It also has excellent nutritional recommendations for certain medical conditions. I think it's a great app.

I’m a 4th year med student soon to be PGY1 and needed something to help me quickly find answers to the basic questions I can’t remember off the top of my head. I feel more confident interacting with my attending based on these answers vs ones from regular Google or ChatGTP.

I am a PA student in my clinical year. Up to Date is great and all but the amount of information you have to wade through to find what you are looking for is very time consuming. Dr. Oracle is more efficient and concise when looking for answers to your medical questions. It also has peer reviewed articles at the end of every answer to back up the answer! This is my go to from now on!

This app is perfect. I stopped using ChatGPT and OpenEvidence. While those two are good, Dr.Oracle is just light years ahead. I showed this to a few Attendings and they all agree on the references it chose to be the highest quality sources for the questions asked. OpenEvidence and ChatGPT did not get it right. Research Mode is amazing. And Dr.Oracle even has a special feature for coming up with differentials that use case reports which I found amazing for finding those rare zebras. Excellent work.
1.1.2 · 2024/10/17 14:02 · RNginall30
When I first paid for the subscription, research mode was glitchy at best. Most weekends it didn’t work. But now, for more than a month, research mode doesn’t work. The entire reason I paid for a subscription was for research mode for school, because when it works, it is so much easier to find research than using the online university search. I’ve sent a few emails through app support but haven’t heard back. This would be a great app if it worked properly, therefore I’m giving it 1 star and cancelling my subscription which ends next year.

This is a great tool. I primarily use it as a research assistant. I also use it for everything from complex to minor in-clinic questions. As a Family Nurse Practitioner student in my last year this has been invaluable while completing my rotations. It is absolutely worth the cost.

I would have been an honor student if I had access to this when I was in college. This is by far the best AI tool I've used for medicine and pharmacy. I can't rave about it enough. It's the best money I've spent this month!

Needs to improve ease of sign in, but I’m impressed with the quality of content produced. Also, the logo looks like some kind of alternative medicine site, not a traditional medical app, which may deter providers from using Dr Oracle.

Makes life so much easier in clinic! As a college student I’m constantly trying to learn more before I apply for PA school and this has been a life saver!
1.0.5 · 2024/03/27 16:17 · Adams1brostar
It’s great to be able to look things up quickly, and overall it is excellent. It has given me 3 false sources, where I had to double check and the information it mentioned was not there, but overall it is accurate. The other thing that needs to be improved is the information should be more targeted for clinicians- sometimes when I ask for information is comes up with a “web MD” like paragraph that is useless for a clinician. I want more information like up to date.
1.0.3 · 2024/02/16 17:19 · ZBeiza22
I was searching for a tool to look up medical terminology, but found this which lets me do that plus so much more. For example I can basically have a conversation with UpToDate. I can find the answer to my exact questions without needing to scroll through a lot of extraneous information! A great must have for anyone in the medical field!

As a Hospitalist I use Dr. Oracle frequently during my rounds. It provides me valuable, quick, concise information to problems throughout my day. This is a must for any medical student, resident, attending. I would even suggest this for mid-levels as a useful tool to assist them.
