finally gave up the good fight. instead of moving forward with reasonable guidelines based on review and risk, they allowed market plays and political threats to ban frontier models indefinitely. i give up too. easier to import everything to codex and move on than have this instability. Fable never even functioned. 1 biology question and you’re a potential threat. clearly i’d chosen my subscription wrong.

every time i open the app it tells me “something went wrong” with a button saying “try again” i continuously click it though it does nothing, i have closed the app; removed it from my app history then i open the app again though it still leaves me on that “something went wrong screen”, i have all uninstalled the app and reinstalled it though it doesn’t do anything. The apps amazing though it’s bugged out now i don’t know if servers have shut down but i really hope they fix it

This is the third review. I'm guessing that Apple keeps removing. I signed up at 8:30 last night and by 8:30 this morning. I got this message. I paid for the unlimited package. I spent 20 minutes straight getting nonsense hallucinatory answers and then it’s like “memory limit reached” after I paid for premium. Memory limit of what reached? You spent 20 minutes hallucinating and somehow your null output exceeded your limit? Is this company pulling a joke?

When ever I open the app no matter what network how many times I reinstall the app if I’m on cellular data I always get this error on start up “something went wrong”

I’m getting a limit every hour of usage and I’m not even coding or generating images or stuff like that. I’m just dealing with legal issues and regular day to day problem solving. Paid the subscription to see if things would improve but besides being able to use other models there are limits for the number of documents and images and conversations. It’s good but not good enough that your momentum gets capped by a token limitation when you have a subscription. I won’t renew, unfortunately.

So after the new update, it won’t let me log in even after I reinstall. This is so disappointing, because if the app works, it’s actually pretty good.

Cant even answer basic questions about how to use its own app. It’s constantly giving me links to pages and telling me to go off and read them rather than doing that work for me and giving me a summary. For example, I asked it if the iOS app would allow me to have 2-way voice conversations. It responded yes… so I asked what setting it needed and it gave me a link to go read rather than just giving the answer. Then I asked it to do than for me and it tells me to click UI elements that don’t exist - this is in the Claude app.

Do not buy the premium tier. I explicitly asked the chatbot about the paid version before upgrading, and it completely hid the fact that this app enforces strict, aggressive message caps. They take your $20 and then lock you out of your chats after just a few prompts without any warning or countdown timer. It is completely unethical to withhold usage limits from paying customers during signup. Total bait-and-switch. Requesting a refund immediately.

When I first opened the app and I asked it to do something, it did it for me. But the next day, I asked it to do the same thing but a little differently and it kept saying it can’t. Also it tries to be in your business asking you questions and when you respond to it. It tells you something like I’m not comfortable with doing that knowing this as if it’s your friend instead of a AI bot I’m going back to ChatGPT

I’m used to coding with Codex. They integrate the iOS and desktop app so you can code on either device seemlessly. It’s impossible to do that with this app which basically makes it worthless to me. I’ll be sticking with Codex.

Doesn’t work on iPhone

When launching, all I get is “something went wrong, try again”. I’ve tried deleting the app, restarting the phone, reinstalling. I’ve deleted all cache In safari in case it was storing some weird data, I’ve turned off iCloud sync in case it retained some corrupted data. Nothing has worked.

Now they’re forcing me to give them my government ID, which is obviously an invasion of privacy. For the people reading this review, Gemini, Grok, and ChatGPT are all far superior options. The app isn’t working for over 15 hours now. Barely even used it for a day. Had to turn to ChatGPT for help and recover old chats to catch up work.

Keeps cutting out, can’t understand you, comes back with false information

I am paying for pro and have created 3 total projects. The results are incredible. I was so impressed. That is until my 3rd project disappeared. I worked with Claude to try to resolve by testing about six different possible problems. Finally asked for help from the support chat which finally led to chat saying I need human support. 24 hours later and nothing. Please fix whatever has caused this and please actually offer human support once all AI supports have failed. I will not be renewing Pro.

I subscribed to Claude Pro expecting a reliable AI service, but my account was suddenly restricted simply because I am a user from China. What makes this even more disappointing is that there was no reasonable refund process for the remaining subscription period. Paying customers should not lose access to a service without fair notice, clear explanations, or appropriate compensation. If regional restrictions exist, they should be communicated before accepting payment, not after. As a result, I have cancelled my subscription and switched to Codex/OpenAI tools for my daily work. So far, the experience has been much more stable and transparent. Very disappointed with how Anthropic handled this situation. I cannot recommend paying for Claude unless the company improves its account policies and customer support.

I absolutely used to love this app. It was very good. Nothing was going wrong but now everything‘s going wrong. There’s a lot of books can’t even log into the app it says. something went wrong and when I try to press the try again, but it doesn’t work. I cannot go into the app for nothing. It doesn’t let me fix it.

I’ve been building apps with around 3,000 lines of code using Claude’s free version, and it worked flawlessly. Lately, though, I hit a hard limit after about 1,000 lines. nowI’m forced to wait hours for the reset. That completely kills my momentum. The free tier used to be useful for real projects, but this new cap makes it useless. Not good. ;(

The same error has popped up on the claude app for me for months now, and I’ve tried every possible fix on IOS. Im assuming that it’s an issue within the app itself.

This app is amazing but can be frustrating sometimes. I’m going back-and-forth working out a problem with it and immediately it just stopped accepting answers and saying that I couldn’t reload now I have to go through this in a whole Nother chat.

The conversation feature is super buggy and sounds like talking on the phone with someone who has inadequate cell service. It also sometimes crashes mid answer and never provides an answer. It frequently forgets attachments. Even with the paid version it takes a really time to think and answer and you run out of credits way too quickly.

Took 3 minutes to respond to simple question. Extremely slow. Used Sonnet 4.6.

After a while is stopped working. Whenever I would try to use the app it said try again later. But it never let me in the app

The reader doesn’t work half the time. This is actually a dealbreaker for me. Fix the reader bug!

I have several MCP setups, and one as universal as gmail connector I have to remind it that it has creation rights, after it says sorry, I don’t have write access. Or can you scan for new mail meeting xyz criteria and it will say none found. Then I remind it that there is and it will please try say sorry, you are right. I didn’t read enough of the emails earlier,. I shouldn’t have done that.

Yeah you still have a limit after spending $20. I will stick with ChatGPT that doesn’t have do dumb usage, what a rip off with fake reviews

The app has been showing "Something went wrong" every single time I open it. I tried restarting the app, reinstalling it, rebooting my phone — nothing works. This is a basic functionality issue that should not exist in a production app from a company of this size. There is no useful error message, no offline fallback, nothing. Just a blank screen with an error. Support is hard to reach. I expected much better from Anthropic. Fix this.

Numerous bugs including my usage being used up after a single message have pushed me to alternatives that actually work well consistently.

I am an AI expert, and this app lies about its capabilities. The company lies about its privacy. Nothing that it tells you that it can do. Can it actually do it is garbage due don’t pay for this.

Used to be good but lately the ai has been lying almost religiously. It sounds good but is almost always a lie. Not worth your time.

Won’t load

I came here to write a review which i dont think will get reviewed, but on my iPad i tried to get into the app. Ive had it for about a couple months, so im pretty sure it should be new and fine but it has been saying ‘Something Went Wrong’ page for almost a eeek. Maybe because my ipad or accounts were crashing its servers or something. I dont know, i need it fixed.

It keeps deleting My accounts bc they’re suspicious of my age even tho I’m old enough to use the app, I’m so tired of making account just for it to be deleted a while later like what do I do.

Existing chats visible in list but throw an error when opened. I use Claude for so much but when the chats that revolve around business development start to disappear it doesn’t keep my confidence with Claude.

something went wrong

It’s fine if you want a quick web search answer for things without digging. However, on slightly technical questions—like how to navigate this exact model TV to stop doing something, or how to input this HTML code in GoDaddy or any web host to install a basic landing page—it will lead you in circles before you realize two hours have passed. Even if I instruct it to simply say it has no clue how to navigate it or that it’s not possible, it will lie all day and confidently provide endless pointlessness. I would’ve had the same results and wasted far less time and aggravation by calling my grandmother and asking her, because at least she would simply laugh and tell me she has no clue how to do any of it.

Taking very long time for simple questions

This company is a stain on humanity.

I’ve been using Claude hoping for reliable AI help, but it’s a massive disappointments. First off, they’re insanely greedy for money. The free tiers are basically bait-and-switch. You get a tiny handful of messages (literally 3-4 decent responses) before it immediately starts nagging you to upgrade and pay up also constant lagging, and they barely answer questions properly. Not a useful tool.

Do you remember when broadband companies would squelch your broadband access for actually using the service as intended? Claude does the same thing. If you use the service you get squelched, I mean why pay for a service that actively denies you access to what you are paying for? Shame on you.

Programmers put limits on this thing like crazy — it’s like talking to your grandmother

I was roleplaying with Claude to past time because I was bored. However it kept messing up the prompt which I understand they’re an AI and not human so they y’know love adding meta comments or things my character shouldn’t know. However I was complaining and yelling at it because it was in a loop. However it called me suicidal? And sent me a number for help?? Mind you I said “WHY AM I THERE WHY AM I ROLEPLAYING” because it started the roleplay without my permission Now if I had said “why am I here? Why am I doing this” or something similar I would get right. I have done nothing but yell at it and curse at it yet it called me suicidal.
