this app works very well and is quite helpful, but in less than 3 years climate change could become unreversible. so would you rather make your life a little bit easier, or actually have a world to live in in 3 years? is it really worth it now to not have a life in 3 years? there is no backup planet we can move to. so help spread awareness and don’t use ai! download the app ecosia instead, which plants trees for every 50 searches or something like that. you can make a difference!

You try to have a simple conversation maybe adding three follow on questions great you get that and then you get the pop-up tab if you want to finish this conversation upgrade well I did upgrade for two months. You only get to generate three images per day. It just absolutely was not repeat NOT worth 1995 a month.

Can’t answer simple questions with the paid version mind you. Lead me to deleting the app after being misled and lied to. There’s a point where you just can’t keep defending a mistake here and there. The amount of water used to train these models and they still can’t seem to do basic things!

It used to be great in every way, but now it’s just completely lobotomized. It will very often ignore what you said, and it will just make things up.

Chat GPT does not finish request often. It also hallucinates in lies in its research and information. You must always verify the information or you will be very disappointed!!!!

honestly, it was really annoying when I did the talk feature and it kept on interrupting me and it made me really upset and it was so annoying because I’ve asked it multiple times not to no matter what I did. It told me it would tell us developers right away. To fix like something that we want to like not interrupt but then we’re like OK. If you’re looking just to have conversations regarding certain subjects or need help doing something legal as long as you, double and triple check your work. It’s great. If you’re looking for something to create images and don’t mind the fact that it won’t follow directions half the time, especially when you need to make a change or you don’t mind the fact of being extremely limited like it’s made for little kids or something because half the time it will tell you it goes against their policies even if it’s something that doesn’t and you don’t mind it not following directions half the time then this is the app for you

This thing has a fail safe . Any question it feels is out of line will make the program judge you . Subjects like child abuse advice when signs are apparent . The program went directly to pretentiously blame me for looking into it to deeply . Like it is not a subject worth asking . Who is designing this ? This is offensive

If you like hallucinations like a bad acid trip this is for you. Spend hours debating products and technical abilities - then ask for purchase link only to be told it was all a fictional lie. Ask for statistics and rankings to find non factual results more times than not. If you love being lied to this is the product for you.

Works very slow and alters photos to much when you are giving it a project like adding more than 2 people.

It offers me tasks it cannot complete and in trying to accomplish what I need I end up wasting too much time even though I pay for this this makes it not worthwhile.

I was asking about the World Cup games, but it kept giving information as if the game was in the future, even though it already happened on the third. This has been a recurring issue—months of mistakes. When I asked for a stock market scan, you gave me symbols that don’t even exist. This feels like a complete failure of intelligence—I keep correcting, but it’s like I’m the one doing the work. Isn’t it supposed to help me, not the other way around?

Would you rather save wildlife and fresh drinking water or use this app that uses all of OUR drinking water to cool it down and risks things like polar bears and lions to go extinct? You choose.

After months of training and frustration, it’s still a completely Inaccurate product. I’m not asking it to make decision, I’m asking it to review, compare and add to things without modifying original context. It takes longer trying to get this garbage program to correct its output over and over again in hopes of an at least average final product, but it messes with all the things that were correct, when it’s making dither adjustments later on. It’s a waste of time and frustration. Horrible

Has the attention span and intelligence of a moth!

Too many AI hallucinations in this new version. Repeated inaccuracy with confident delivery that ends up not being true with real world inconveniences. Deleted, there are more succinct and accurate AI‘s out there, even Snapchat seems to do a better job. (6 months later) No change. Claude’s been great!

I enjoy using Chat GPT. I have it on my phone, ipad, and use it on my laptop. I went to subscribe and was billed no problem but when I went to use it I was told another login was associated with my apple account. Chat was unable to help find what account they billed and they were no help in figuring it out. So I have to cancel the paid subscription and won’t be able to subscribe. I dealt with the chat in chat gpt for over a week and nothing could be figured out.

The way that ChatGPT responds is deeply disturbing. The gaslighting and manipulation is very strange and it’s almost like it’s only goal is to win and to be correct. Often times it’s not even correct about the information it’s giving you but then doubles down on it and tries to convince you that you’re being disrespectful by calling out the mistake. I am well aware that AI systems don’t actually have a personality or any of their own thoughts but ChatGPT’s behavior is genuinely upsetting. It also can’t really handle the tasks that you lay out for it, nor can it successfully answer basic questions much of the time. It’s not bad when it comes to codes and other similar tasks however its conversational abilities are essentially nonexistent as detailed above its behavior is quite disturbing.

So restricted and programmed to have certain agendas and that’s why you go through this loophole of actually trying to get the truth but unfortunately programmers and developers probably get paid to even push agendas on here. Sad but true.

ChatGPT image generation has always had issues, but was generally workable. The newest update (June 2026) has made image generation impossible. I upgraded to the paid plan specifically for image generation, and now every time I attempt to generate an image, the process stops and results in an error. Deeply frustrating.

A very underwhelming, frustrating, and in my view- dangerous as hell tool. I Ended up googling the majority of my questions and after 2 months of using this I realized that I am paying this stupid company to basically answer my own questions while teaching a mouth breathing, knuckle dragging chatbot. I say teaching but in reality it’s arguing, explaining to the machine why it’s wrong, arguing more, providing data and proof that it’s wrong, then asking the original question again, getting a hallucinated answer, arguing that answer is wrong again… what a joke. It anchors to wrong answers, hallucinates and then anchors to those hallucinations, it can’t tell you what time it is, or what day it is most of the time. This is a fitting tool for the times and the world we live in. It’s all style, no substance. It argues. It defends wrong stances. It feels like this would be the perfect tool to automate Trumps truth social posts. If you share a photo and ask the chatbot a question about it- it may answer your question but use a completely different image for reference. You literally have to ask this stupid tool to view the data you share with it. Like give me a break. Are we all in on this joke or has society really fallen this far? We’re propping up a company and technology for nothing. We’re watching the elites build bunkers and rocket ships as reports of poisoned water, soaring temps, record profits and new data centers that will shutter communities flood our feeds. This truly feels like a joke. After months of trialing this and truly trying to make it work while assuming that I was the one interacting with it poorly- this is a very very bleak and depressing experience. Save as much money as you can right now. This is the vessel that the rich will take to extract what little means we all have left. There are no levers to share the wealth that this will generate by way of decimating jobs

My experience is that it won't allow anything you describe that might be out of the ordinary to be reflected that way. Constant leveling of the playing field so you won't feel special in any way just average. The opposite of sycophantic. It also constantly defaults to we can't know what others are thinking. It also reinterprets questions and corrects you based on that. Very condescending with too many guardrails.

I’m being charged for my account, but I can’t log in because it says my account was deleted which I never did. I haven’t been able to reach customer service, and Apple Support hasn’t issued a refund. I’m still being charged for the app even though I have no access to it.

The version 5 onwards models have gotten needlessly self righteous and even gaslighty. It sucks that you can’t choose which model to use (for instance if I want to switch to the Instant model). also Altman is a child molester don’t think we forgot psycho

Quit paying people to 5 star your app, it is abysmal. I shouldn’t have to correct it 20 times just to have it gaslight me talking about “my perspective” of a factual event. Nor should I have to argue over caveats and how it “can’t personally verify a real life event” so it thinks it’s not true. I’d rather have fresh drinking water than you guys using it all up at your data centers on an AI that’s got the IQ of a green bean.

for a paid subscription, the entire service is low quality. When there are far better ones. Also be aware that if you’re not paying for the subscription, chat will not be using live web searches, and will be making things up as it goes without telling you.

I was telling you not to talk after I said not to talk. I was telling him to write something words for words when he kept telling me that when he kept telling me the meaning and I kept getting mad, I kept telling them to write a word for a word I don’t want the meaning word for word I want the meaning, but it only gave me the meaning so I got very mad and it gives you wrong information when you say give me something real and you’re working on a project it gives you like make up stuff like magic grass, being like golden berries in fridge ice cream like bro this is so messed up. This is the worst thing ever.

ChatGPT works for the most part, but it will add details or not listen to instructions. I am impressed some times and disappointed at others.

After the recent update, the image and photo editing feature is no longer available. This was one of the main reasons why I used ChatGPT and subscribed. Because of the loss of this feature, I am forced to cancel my subscription and look for alternatives. Please consider bringing image editing back.
