Why did they add ADS it’s really frustrating every time I get taken to a different site and it distracts me and makes me lose my focus. How do you expect me to study efficiently with all of these pop-ups?

Quizlet use to be free

I don’t understand how they’re charging to use their platform when it used to be free. Not only that, they’re getting money from others people work. I make my own sets, other people make their own sets, yet quizlet doesn’t make their own sets to study, so why are you charging money on other people’s work? Such a greedy thing to do.

It makes you watch ads and pay for almost anything

User interface seems to have been intentionally designed to be as unintuitive and distracting as possible.

Iam so frustrated with quizlet- others have being complaining about the same exact thing. Why am I paying premium monthly membership to use a feature that isn’t working!!! Why does quizlet keep shrinking images?! They should actually make the images bigger. This app is garbage. Get rid of the bs additions, the AI generator and just fix the stupid image issues that we’ve been complaining about for years!!!

Free version is so limited that it’s going to be the downfall of this app. Students already have enough going on to want to pay to study. Bring back old quizlet.

It won’t let me scan documents to create flashcards sets anymore. It loads all the words into one celll. Very stupid update.

Everything was going good until it started tweaking out. The stupid app will mix up your terms and definitions and when you flip them and I’ll flip them back. It glitches and does not let you click, restart flashcards. The app genuinely just sucks in every way I thought that it was good at first since it made stunning easier, which is the only good part except that it makes you mad and frustrated when it stops working. and it stops working every three seconds this app is horrible. Do not buy and definitely do not pay for it.

I only could take the practice test once and then it wanted me to play money for unlimited and it was 9.80 for one month I would not get this if you are trying to study for a test and you do not want to use money.

Questions and flash cards stopped loading entirely for me after 20 or so cards in— realised it was paywalled.

I didn’t realize I had to create everything. I would have done that first before downloading the app. It’s a template not a source of information. That should be mentioned

There is no way to flag a flashcard as incorrect. Studying for my notary public exam, several flashcards were just wrong. Spreading bad information hurts the platform and I would expect the platform to have a way to correct this.

Whatever this new update for the iPad is sucks! I hate how terms and definitions are stacked onto one card now instead of two different columns. Also, in flashcard mode I can’t even use the arrows on my Magic Keyboard anymore as a way to swipe. Unnecessary updates have made this app way worse.

this site is set up so you pay for your free trial. There are so many better study apps now. ChatLLM has several you can use all in one app for wayyyyy cheaper.

Left the app for about a minute or so, went back on the app and my 100+ flash card set draft got deleted. Terrible

Do not download this app and try their free trial. First off I didn’t really care for the app itself. It was hard to use. Second I signed up for the free trial and the app itself said it would let me know when the free trial was about to be over so I can cancel or continue. Come to find out they had charged me for the full year without letting me know. Be aware to not sign up for the free trial. They will charge you and not allow you to get a refund.

It used to work fine before. Now, even after I updated the app twice, I still have the problem where EVERY TIME I save a new flashcard set, the app freezes.

If u don’t pay for it there’s so many adds and u can’t do anything, it’s just annoying and less convenient now

I can’t reset my progress. When I star cards then finish them, Quizlet says I’m finished with all cards. This is a MAJOR FLAW and I can’t study my index cards right before my board exam. This app is trash. Would not recommend relying on this.

This app has worked PHENOMENALLY when I used it without a “PREMIUM” subscription and as my FINALS started to creep up I decided that paying/borrowing money to GET the PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION I started to experience problems. Scan>Upload questions>Quizlet processes Upload>Still waiting……> It finishes>I begin flashcards and notice QUESTIONS, ANSWERS, blah blah blah aren’t the same as what I scanned and uploaded. Therefore it makes studying F#€£!n6 difficult! So, how do we fix this??? Love you! Please help me help you! 😉😉

I payed for premium and half the time it doesn’t work. For the last 5 months or so, it hasn’t worked, at all, even once when I need it to. Don’t waste your time

A redownload Quizlet after taking a gap year from school, and the two most useful features are behind a paywall? Actually disgusting when we’re facing a recession AND with AI taking over and most student are half assing their work already. Do you understand your target audience are kids who likely can’t even get jobs and broke college students?? Dumb move. Whoever made that decision should be ashamed

Just getting the hang of the app, no hard feelings with the review

For years, even after uninstalling it, it has been running on the background of my phone. I finally put a time limit on it but it keeps notifying me daily that my 5 minutes are almost up. I haven’t had this app installed in a long time. I’m assuming they’ve sold my info or something. DO NOT GET THIS APP!

While i was studying on quizlet I had an inappropriate add pop up about downloading a cleanup app because my account so restricted from being on “adult websites” I was studying on my quizlet app. I use quizlet at work. I PAY for quizlet. This is NOT appropriate.

Quizlet has gone down hill over the years. Making things that used to be free, you have to pay for it now. There are so many ads on the site on my computer that it crashes my computer. Please remove the amount of ads as it’s taking up so much space

I’ve used Quizlet for years and the method is really good for those tight situations before an exam. I think the adaption with smart notes is great ALTHOUGH i have one major problem. WHY CAN WE NOT ADD IMAGES TO THE TERM SECTION? it’s a universal problem and you would think that’s the first thing they try to fix. especially if it’s a “premium feature”, why not help the people who are funding your services? one more thing is the AI feature that is meant to organize notes actually will completely rephrase everything for no reason. that can really hinder people who rely on rhythmic learning. if they fixed those two things and made the price point more accessible it could be one of the strongest studying apps around. they just need to prioritize their audience.

cost a monthly subscription to use. They are way over charging, college students cannot afford this. Really disappointing.

Look up whatever material it is your looking to master and I promise you’ll find some awesome people who have made some A1 study guides, quizzes, etc. used only this for my Hesi A2 exam.

I regret not getting this sooner to help me study for my college classes. Many different reviews and study guides to help me Ace my test with repetition. Thanks!

You have to pay for what people actually need to help study and what works.

Quizlet needs to work on their grading options tool. I set most of my learning grading options to moderate which states "exact match requires" with leeway for misspellings but there has been countless times where I will put the completely wrong answer ( answers for completely different questions, not even a correct general answer or summary for the question) and it says I get it right! I also turned on the option to retype correct answers but if I override something as incorrect it doesn't force me to retype the correct answer, it's completely frustrating! Granted, this review is more about their laptop usability and not their app so I'm not sure if it works better on the phone/iPad but I'm getting frustrated with how their website functions.

I originally used Quizlet free version and it was fine but it was always annoying to run out of learn rounds because I still had multiple rounds to go. With Quizlet plus, my grades increased so much in the classes I used Quizlet for, and it’s only $45 a year for all the features! I highly recommend getting this app and upgrading to Quizlet Plus because you will see the difference in your academic performance.

Quizlet is a great app for studying and work flash card and yes even gives you test it’s a good great amazing app for anything educational 👍

I have been using this app for 90% of exams and quizzes. It is very helpful when it comes to language practice when there is a one word answer. The app is mostly good on remembering the sets you have studied to you can easily find the set. It’s a bit hard to find creators on the app if you don’t know their exact name and it’s hard to know what aide will be which when you create a set. The most annoying part about this app is that if you want to study certain types of subjects - for example, vocabulary where the answer isn’t a one word response but more of an idea. In the learn mode, you need to rewrite what is on the other side of the card in order to get it right. However that type of material doesn’t need to be reiterated exactly so you will probably end up getting the answer to those questions wrong. I also wish that in learn mode Quizlet could add more options using ai that are similar to the write answer. Otherwise, it’s easier to use deductive reasoning to get the question correct which would be harder on a real test where those kinds of options would show up in a multiple choice question. Aside from that, the app has really helped me excel in school and im really grateful to have it as a free recourse.

Quizlet plus is great you have unlimited access to. GOOD JOB QUIZLET!!!!!!
