My account got hacked around 2 am this morning out of nowhere, not only got hacked it is also locked. No, I haven’t opened any links or interacted with suspicious accounts. The hacker changed my email and phone number on my account. I have tried every way to get back into my account with no success. My personal information is breached due to a flaw in instagram. The help pages and the Meta bot is no help at all. It will send you in a loop without any hope of you getting your account back. I have had my account for years and all of my memories and information has been breached. At some point legal action has to be involved. STAY AWAY!

I report to your "Community Standards" and I get back that nothing is wrong with the vid? What a load of junk this app and it algo are! Fix your platform. Tasteless recommendations and a biased algo makes your site extremely questionable since you're controlling what shows up in my feed that YOU recommend. Deplorable!

Instagram keeps suspending every account I make for no reason! I don’t post anything outside of community guidelines and somehow my account is always taken away. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE !

I love this app but now I don’t love it as much as I did.

lately when i try to open IG it takes so so so long to load that I have to reopen the app every single time. I wonder if this is related to the mass layoffs. nothing loads, as if you are watching youtube and suddenly it just stucks. poor engineers. Mark do better.

If the link for a reel when clicked in email or text actually consistently opened the correct link? Is this too much to ask? This has worked for other programmers since hyperlinks came into play. New version. Same problem. Is that considered consistency?! So not only can it not consistently open the correct link from an email or text. If there is no audio in the correct reel it may still be playing the audio from the incorrect reel. This is really annoying Cannot trust that any links i share will open correctly. What if what opens for them is an offensive reel versus the correct reel. As this has gone on thru several versions I can only feel that they do not know how to fix or do not care. Both are not good.. This is beyond poor programming i really hate 2 audio tracks overlaid so 2 audio tracks but 1 reel. This is not a feature but a bug. I really hate clicking a link and getting the incorrect video. Isn’t there an understanding that a clicked link passed the intention of the group that shared the link?? Inconsistent ui. Sometimes volume will enable the volume. Sometimes you have to find the speaker icon to enable the volume The fact this continues shows they do not read reviews or care

Massive disappointment as I updated the app and ALL my drafts were deleted

ive had my original account for about 10 years and then i get suspended then permanently disabled. all the new accounts ive made keep getting flagged and also banned. i am so close to deleting instagram and not using the app entirely. ts is actually so annoying i cant even talk to my friends without getting banned.

The app is good but it would be a whole lot better if the devs didn’t randomly disable features for certain accounts for no reason. For example, I cannot repost or access anyone’s follower lists, including my own, despite the fact that I did not break any rules. Beta testing exists for a reason. Don’t use random users to test the removal of features.

I am sure that this has been said MULTIPLE times in reviews, and I know for a FACT that you’re not doing anything to fix it. Your ai is wrongfully banning and suspending people for absolutely no reason, and your appeal system basically never works. I know one reviewer won’t change your mind, but you should at least TRY to fix this in the future. I’m sick of being suspended over nothing.

At first, this app seemed great! I enjoyed the videos, and some of the content was really funny and entertaining. It was a fun platform to connect and share laughs. However, that initial good impression quickly faded. I've been banned 4 times now, and honestly, it's incredibly frustrating. The bans seem random and unfair, and it's really disappointing to see how inconsistent the moderation is. What’s worse is the overwhelming presence of pervs and creeps on the platform. They make the environment uncomfortable and unsafe, especially for those trying to enjoy the content or share their own. It feels like the app turns a blind eye to this behavior, which is unacceptable. Instead of a fun and safe space, it’s become a place filled with annoyance and discomfort. Overall, I started out loving this app, but now I just feel disappointed and fed up. If you value safety and fair treatment, I wouldn’t recommend using it. It’s a shame because it had potential, but the constant bans and the toxic user base ruin the experience.

I am on Instagram from last month. I have created one account last month which got suspended. I worked so hard on my account continuously updating reels and I did not post any comment against anybody. But still, my account was suspended. Simply said that did not follow community guidelines didn't even message properly. What I did at least I should have understood what mistake did not now. Then again I made a new account. Then I started working on my videos reels, if I like something, I liked it, reposted something everything positive. I didn't use her hated and even even when I was commenting I was just posting hard supporting the community, but still they suspended my account and saying that something is wrong and like that, it's such a shame, I don't know why you are doing it. This is like second time in two months. This is my first time on Instagram, and I'm just getting this from you people without notification, that what is the mistake at least you should be able to tell me that what I'm doing wrong. That's why it is happening. Shame on you. people are sharing nudity people were sharing you know sexual content. They are not getting suspended, but people like small creator like me who just started suspended twice and without I dare you you just give me the reason why it has been suspended which community I have not followed, you have my ID. You have everything sent me an email. Tell me which was being not followed and then suspend.

I used to love Instagram’s clean and simple square grid. It was easy to design visuals, and everything looked unified and beautiful. Now the platform has changed to a 4:5 ratio, and on top of that, the grid itself is inconsistent. Designers are forced to leave “safe zones” just to prevent logos or text from being cut off. Why should a social media visual even need a safe zone? This change makes creating content unnecessarily complicated. The grid no longer has any sense of unity, and the experience feels clumsy compared to the elegance Instagram once had. Instead of improving usability, these updates seem to push users away. Trying to imitate other apps by forcing “full‑screen” content is a failed strategy. It may benefit Instagram’s business goals, but for users who value design consistency and simplicity, it feels like we are being ignored. Personally, I now avoid opening the grid view altogether because it has lost all coherence. Instagram used to stand out for its unique aesthetic. By chasing trends, it risks losing the very identity that made people love it in the first place

Please, PLEASE, whoever is in charge of instagram’s formatting and layout, hear me out. I loved instagram until you guys removed the DM button from the main page and put it as one of the bottom tabs. Up till now I’ve tolerated small updates to the page, but this is too big of a change. I feel CLAUSTROPHOBIC using instagram because everything is so compartmentalized and there’s such a big lack of easy/efficient accessibility. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU PUT THE DM PLANE BUTTON BACK NEXT TO THE UPDATES/HEART BUTTON ON THE HOME PAGE WHERE IT BELONGS!!! NO JUST PUT EVERYTHING BACK TO BEFORE THIS STUPID UPDATE!!! IDK WHY YOU SOFTWARE PEOPLE ALWAYS FEEL THE NEED TO UPDATE ALREADY GREAT THINGS JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGING SOMETHING!! IT WAS DOING FINE. PUT EVERYTHING BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL PLACE. And have you not read that article about the newer generations developing a new reading pattern? It’s not Z shaped anymore, we mostly read the top left corner, scan top-mid a little, and leave. But if you put all the important buttons at the bottom, how bothersome is it for us to keep moving our gaze to the bottom of the screen JUST TO CHECK IF WE’VE GOT A MESSAGE? Please, it’s insufferably intolerable and inconvenient.

Ever since I installed the interface update for IPad version of Instagram the app’s performance has been horrible. The update is supposed to be an improvement but it is more like a downgrade. Everything takes forever to load and buffers indefinitely—whether that be content on the feed tab, the Chat list and individual DM’s/Chat’s, and even when uploading posts and stories. I have to restart the app just to get a response, and even then, that doesn’t always resolve the issue. Other times the interface doesn’t respond. I try to exit a DM and return to my Chat List and it doesn’t work, unless I click to another tab (i.e profile or feed) then click on the Chats List again. Other occasions when I try to upload a story with a caption, the keyboard doesn’t appear on the screen, only the list of fonts, effects etc. It’s worth noting I have tried refreshing the app, deleting and re-downloading the app, as well as restarting my IPad. I have also checked my WiFi connection. This interface update for IPad, that was supposedly to improve user experience, has significantly effected my experience and ability to use the app. I honestly don’t see the need for the new interface, the original interface worked just fine, and in fact better. I really don’t want to have to switch to my phone every time I want to use Instagram (which still has the old Instagram interface, and works effectively.)

I found out a few days ago that all my accounts are disabled by IG, and I am not doing anything that violates IG rules, I usually do not like and comment, post some violated photos and so on. Then I went to find out why my Account was disabled. Then I found out that my account was compromised, that intruder did something fraudulent, IG then deactivated that account, I wanted to report that account but IG wouldn't let it, now all accounts I created have been disabled. I tried all the declared functions, but it was saying that I violated its criteria. So all the photos I created earlier are gone. Also want to create a new Account, but because there is a record, can not create. It's really sad, I think the IG function should seriously check if my Accounts are suspicious Accounts. It's really unfair that my Account is blocked now, because I haven't done anything violating it. I hate the new update and don’t know where to complain cause you don’t have a feedback thing and I don’t want to complain in the help centre… but that worked last time so maybe I will… >:( I am a loyal instagramorion and have been for these last five ish in 2022 you used my account to test your new full screen post layout… thing and I was overcome with despair and I told you that Instagram is my app my one app that I have curated that I have saved countless wonderful posts on throughout the years and your update made my experience an awful one and there was no longer any joy for me there… and you reverted the layout it was just a test after all but this this? I don’t know if it’s affecting every user but it sure is affecting me this infernal full screen post layout this isn’t what we wanted it’s never what we wanted you can keep your reels (but maybe not the awful comment sections seriously do something about that) but our posts are our posts and I’ll fight for them this is my app gosh darn it! And if you won’t let me have my posts the way I’ve had them all this time what am I supposed to do my heart will be empty and my time on the gram will be cold and sad perhaps my days as an instagrammer commenting and laughing and watching the stories will be over and all because of you and your full screen layout it’s just not who you are it’s not why we fell in love take anything …but not this

New update every now and then but ask anyone if the updates are actually necessary, all you are capable of doing is making the app harder to use, unnecessarily complicated and ugly in appearance, cuz look at the newest update, its making the post larger in size, vertically, like what is wrong with you who asked for that. Now for the real bugs people are talking about for years, no one seems to care enough to fix them, absolutely zero support, no emails no message telling us when the issues are gonna be fixed nothing, many years people are complaining why are the tags in bio not working for some accounts, people online have been talking and trying to solve it, you guys are like selective deaf choosing not to see and hear the issues and totally ignoring the users encountering this issue, all you did is making a website telling us common sense and asking us if this article help us. No it was absolutely trash but u don’t give a flying stone about it don’t you. Please get ahold of yoursely.

At first, my account suddenly couldn’t like any posts. Okay, that’s fine, happened before. But it’s not just 1 day now. It stayed for over 4 weeks. I could not like any posts for 4+ weeks. Every time I do, it shows that “oh you can’t like cuz we limit the community smth smth, press this button to alert us!! We’ll get right back at you!” Nothing. I get nothing back in 4 weeks. This has happened across 2 of my accounts, and both has been fixed within 2 days, so why have I been suspended from liking for 4 weeks? Then, my accounts, yes, all my accounts, gets temporarily deactivated. My main account then gets permanently deactivated AFTER I submitted a video of myself AND a valid id CLEARLY showing myself. I had recently passed through 2 airports with no issues with my ID AND face, and that was barely 2 weeks ago, now a simple AI can’t recognize me? Why don’t we revert back to the simpler times when ACTUAL PEOPLE worked these IMPORTANT jobs? I lost my account of 2+ years due to AI’s mistake. Then, when I made a new account, and tried to login on my phone (I made it on web on my iPad), I cannot. Apparently “password is incorrect”, but web version of Instagram works perfectly fine for that account. First sign in and no issues, no “password incorrect”. Keep in mind I copied and pasted the password from the app TO the website. Then, I try my email from the “forget password” page. Oh no! Technical error!! Then, after retrying on my other account, the technical error page just becomes a blank page with the “ok” button. Wow, Instagram! What a great bug fix you had yesterday!!! You so greatly affected my life in so many aspects! I guess you did cure my addiction, but I literally cannot reach out to half of my friends now. Thank you so much!!

Instagram has no control over privacy or user well-being. Instagram’s process for recovering accounts if hacked is cumbersome or non-existent. Instagram keeps largely silent about that issue, while thousands of accounts are subjected negativity daily. We pour so much of ourselves into these devices and platforms either through personal details, business information, stories, photos, etc and it is scary to find out that this "bubble of security" we all think we have isn't actually so private or secure in the end at all. It feels powerless and sickening. If you choose to invest so much of yourself and time in technology- know that at anytime it can be taken away. It’s noteworthy that Instagram will leave you abandoned and unsupported. We’re just a number and money generating cog, masquerading as if we have any control. Time and energy better served in reality. Social media apps are unhealthy, and designed to manipulate and take advantage of human psychology, hormones, and emotional well-being for a quick buck, to keep you scrolling, keep you clicking, keep you buying, keep you identifying as someone other than your true self. People manipulate its use to abuse, bully, harass, berate, steal, sexualise and more negative connotations–including being a catalyst for suicide, social media does more harm than good. It’s worth acknowledging–our energy is best served in reality.

The new update is horrible. Instagram has introduced a new feature where users may post "full length" photos and while this sounds amazing on the surface, the reality is that this makes it incredibly inconvenient for users to scroll down their feed because scrolling once "elongates" the photos (making the subject of the pictures smaller and harder to view anyways in my experience), and only on the second scroll will the user be able to view the next post. Another thing i've noticed in this new update is that swiping the screen from right to left no longer opens up my DMs list no matter where you swipe on the screen if the post you are currently looking at has more than 1 image attached. Let's be honest, no one truly cares past the third picture your friend posts, and now imagine im looking at a post with 10 images attached, id have to swipe forever. Now i know a button to open up my DM list exists at the top right part of my screen but if im just casually scrolling instagram im likely to be only using one hand and its very annoying to have to reach that far to reply to a DM instead of just swiping. Not to mention this update just makes the home feed feel very cluttered and i can no longer bookmark a post with just a tap because the bookmark button is gone. PLEASE REVERT THE UPDATE I BEG OF YOU.

My biggest issue with Instagram lately is their application of community guidelines. They seem very inconsistent and biased- strictly following the guidelines with some content but not other similar content, especially when it comes to “political” content... this can greatly affect what content you are allowed to see, comment on, post and share. The “fact check” feature also seems to be bias on particular things. Reporting content and comments that are not appropriate, especially things regarding bullying and discrimination, or fake/scam accounts pretending to be other people, seems to do very little most of the time, and nothing is usually done about the post/comment you report- only suggesting you block the person you have reported, which doesn’t always fix the issue. The process for reporting things like people stealing your content (copyright infringement) and/or invading your privacy, while generally more effective and successful than the conventional way of reporting things, is also much more difficult- it’s hard to find where and how to send reports directly this way, and is more time consuming. The live streams always seem to be glitchy and troublesome, both for the host of the lives and the viewers. Editing reels and stories can also be a pain, with additional features not always loading, things being out of time after uploading, sound playing but the video being frozen, or the app crashing all together and randomly shutting down.

it used to be a great app in the early days before facebook bought it over and it’s now meta. it’s very difficult for a small biz to grow its outreach with the algorithm now which requires you to be super active and engaging on the app (posting daily, liking, commenting, making videos/reels) or your posts will get buried and not reach many of your followers. it’s such a drain on my mental health that i had to put my biz on hiatus and go back to a corporate job cos i was too stressed and anxious, worrying about the stupid IG algorithm. now, on my personal instagram, i’ve noticed a significant drop in the number of views of my stories because i’ve shared some palestinian content, been liking and commenting on palestinian posts. i’ve also been observing pro palestinian accounts getting suspended, having their posts removed when the posts have nothing that infringes instagram’s guidelines, etc. i’m disappointed at how instagram is filtering the content in an unfair biased manner when i’ve seen pro israeli content that were very obviously misinfo, propaganda, violence/hate inciting which instagram has decided is ok to be left up. if instagram is shadow banning and filtering pro palestinian content, you should also do the same for pro israeli content.

I’m honestly somewhat unhappy with instagram. The first time I lost my account was more of my own fault as I wasn’t careful with scams of hacks. But the second time I lost my account it was because the app became dumb and disabled my account FOR NO REASON!! Do you know how frustrating it is to lose contact with all your friends and losing all your posts, stories, followers and memories!! Ok so now I have another account for about 8 months now but the app is being dumb again by stating ‘We limit how often you can do certain things to protect the community’. Like come on, its such a joke. I did not do anything particularly spammy other than just changing my password a few times to protect my account from hackers and they considered this as spammy. Instagram developers come on you have to do something about the algorithm randomly accusing people as bots. Remember that when one loses an account, it means a lot to them and I sincerely hope you can do something about this. Although I still have my current account, it’s incredibly annoying and worrying to have that notification and coming up and it makes no sense at all!

I haven’t been using instagram in like a month and they’re are telling me to verify my email by using codes and phone number too, they have no reason on why to do that since I haven’t used my account for like a month, pretty sure this happen like a few times. Kinda stupid tbh, it’s not like my account is suspicious at all if I haven’t use instagram in a month or so. They said I will have to wait for a day to verify my instagram account, even tho the system knows the codes and which to send the codes to the email attached to the instagram account, I have put the codes on there and there are no errors what so ever, including the phone number. Ain’t no way instagram get suspicious for not using instagram for a long time. Kinda stupid and should be removed as I didn’t share my password to anyone or click any suspicious links that could get my instagram account stolen. Garbage feature to have and it’s super overprotective, can’t even go off instagram for like a month. 💀no reason on why to look to confirm an account as I provided the system codes to verify my email and phone number. Seriously, instagram thinks I have been so suspicious for not being on instagram for a month, I didn’t even rate limit instagram or spam on comments on other posts and haven’t been acting suspicious on my instagram account at all since I haven’t use it for like a month. Next is 5 stars until it gets removed. While this review is at 1 star.

This recent hashtags update is an absolute bug and I will state the reasons why. Up until now, the best way Content creators of any size to get popularity is the hashtags. More importantly, the recent REAL-TIME posts column in every Hashtag given. Now that it’s remove it can cause small content creators like us to have a disadvantage since that column is where we get a lot of engagement from! Plus it’s also a win-win for those celebrities creating the hashtags as they are able to see the full support from their fans. That is already causing us stress since it’s frustrating to think that the “supporting content creators” tagline only focuses on the 1% (giant content creators) and not the remaining 99%(small content creators). More so it can also cause concern to those creating the hashtags since they are not getting the full support like they used to. Even so we can’t even see our posts in those hashtags anymore because of this bug. Which is also frustrating because we are getting lower engagement than usual unlike the giant content creators which is totally unfair. I suggest that you keep the 99% in mind and fix it as soon as possible.

As you might have noticed, instagram has made a new update where you can no longer see the recent posts in hashtags, you can only see the "top posts" and "recent top posts" here is why this makes hashtags unusable: it's super buggy. the "recent top posts" and the "top posts" are the same. a lot of posts they show are unrelated to the hashtags because people are just using random hashtags to get attention! content by small creators is now inaccessible by hashtags. which was basically the only way to access relevant content from small creators. someone who is new to the platform has no chance of reaching you, and you have no chance to find them too. 90% of content for any hashtag is now gone. let's say you want to start a movement, to create a specific hashtag people could use so that you can read ALL of their relevant posts in one simple click? too bad, that's not happening anymore. this sums up in one simple thing: INSTAGRAM DOESN'T GIVE YOU A CHOICE. you can only decide who you follow, and you will still regularly miss content from them. instagram decides what goes in your feed, what goes in your explore page, what goes in your reels feed, and now, when you are trying to just go and search for something Instagram decides what you are looking for. the update is bad, it makes the site unusable, the creators will have to adapt to much more complex and annoying and less reliable steps to actually be seen, the viewers will lose access to a lot of content forever.

Instagram needs to stop changing its homescreen format every few weeks or so… it is making it incredibly hard to get used to using the application as every other month a swipe motion leads to a different function. In fact, some of these format changes do not even lead to greater convenience, it has been harder to navigate around instagram and it is making it very undesirable to use. I do not even want to scroll any further after seeing the new formatting (the one with a black background and a choppy scrolling similar to tiktok). I am not able to scroll continuously anymore or scroll quickly past posts that I do not wish to see and I have no choice but to swipe through every post one by one (even those sponsored posts and recommended posts). Instagram trying to force the sponsored posts and popular users recommended posts down out throats is becoming very displeasing and the user experience has become very undesirable for many. I suggest you revert back to the previous formatting (with the white background and continuous scrolling) or you will continue to lose the attention and happiness of your users.

Instagram used to be a great place for sharing pictures of your life, until a few weeks ago. Every known social media is known for a certain thing, TikTok for its videos, Twitter for its written opinions, etc. And Instagram was always known as being the app you use for photos, until it decided to try and become all the other social medias into one. Reels became a thing to copy off TikTok and the whole app has become more tacky and strange with every new update. The worst thing they've recently done though is change how the display of pictures. Now Instagram resembles TikTok even more, with a small bar at the bottom showing how many pictures are in one post (just like tiktoks new photo update) and there's a strange border along the top and bottom, making the photo a rectangle instead of a square. This new display also makes it annoying to view captions, as before a great deal of a caption could be seen without having to press "more", yet now you're three words in and have to press the more button. Which makes viewing the photos even worse because when you press to read more of a caption, if you swipe to try going to the next pic, it sends you to your DM's instead, and you're forced to press "less" to swipe along. It sounds like I'm being petty and lazy, but when you have to press read more on every single caption to just see one sentence, it starts getting on your nerves. Overall, Instagram should go back to what it knew, and what it was known for. It doesn't need to become another popular social media in order to be successful.

I set up an account because of a few things happening I wasn’t able to check it for a few months when I then went back on it to get it properly set up I had someone else’s photos I had over 12,000 people I was following yet didn’t follow any of them!!! Someone was using my account and when I tried to message to get this resolved after changing my password, deleting the photos, unfollowing a lot of people yet I’ve over 5,000 to unfollow and I can only unfollow 250 people at a time. Now I want to delete all my details & everything but it’s coming up I shared my passport so I can’t even do that!!!! I am be young furious as my Facebook is on it and as I’ve photos of my child on Facebook I am extremely uneasy about the entire situation!!! I want my account completely delete all my information taken off first then deleted so I can try and set up another one to share things with my friends. Honestly I thought this was a great app before now I’m seriously debating weather I want anything to do with insta after all this. I made sure to choose a good password ive never used before and only I would know but I don’t understand why it’s saying “I shared my password with another app/account to get more followers” I don’t understand what’s going on I’ve never shared my password with anyone not a single person not even my family as I’m not an idiot so can you please please help me delete my info put something random, then delete this stupid account so I can set up a different one

I hate it. I hate it with every single inch of myself. This function just makes resharing posts hard for no reason. Supposedly (according to the app’s spokesperson) this function is to make people more intentional and deliberate about what they post, and to avoid spam in stories. Yet, we can choose not to see and/ or block users who post too many stories if we find them annoying, it’s not a problem that you can’t solve without this button. Although the resharing sticker has a good intention, but it only does a little on having users truly engage with the content itself. It has affect my, and probably other users’ experiences. Resharing posts that are funny, inspiring, etc, is one way for us to interact with our friends and family, followers and other users. The reshare sticker has reduce user’s sentiment to reshare a post to their story. In fact, making it trickier to reshare posts to story is damaging to the creators on Instagram as well. Their followers and other users may think resharing their work to story will cost up too much time, and thus choose not to share their posts, narrowing their reach and engagement. It’s rather frustrating for all the Instagram creators. While for the users, it affects them to engage with high-quality contents in the app. The reshare sticker is a troublesome function with a lot of unnecessary steps. I sincerely recommend the developement team to recover the original reshare design.

Instagram has made changes that have mistakenly deactivated thousands of users from accessing their accounts - including mine. They have deactivated for “breaching terms of conditions” without any warning sent to the users or reason. You just get a generic message and are left wondering what you did. Now, the issue is if you ever need help from Instagram, there is NO way to contact their help centre. It is the actual worst. All of their help just loop you to their FAQs but don’t actually provide any help in recovering accounts that were deactivated by Instagram unfairly and without reason. If you check their Twitter posts, read all the comments. Hundreds of users desperate to try to reach Instagram taking to Twitter, or spamming fb to try and get help. And the worst ? NOW REAL hackers and scammers are taking advantage of these desperate people and offering “hacker accounts” to get their accounts back. Charging real money and then gaining access to banking info. Why are these con artists not deactivated for breaching policy?? There is a HUGE error going on, with zero communication from Instagram. No acknowledgement. No timeline on when these users can get their accounts back. So be warned. Delete all third party apps that log in to your account because that is what can trip up their automated system to just disable your account with no warning. It thinks you are using bots automatically and will keep you in the dark for weeks to months. Instagram, I’ve really lost my trust in this platform. Unacceptable lack of customer service and acknowledgement. I hope more people speak up about this.

The new font updates were great, the fonts look way better and there is more variety, except we can no longer have a background behind the Strong font, only shadow, which I find stupid because what’s the point of removing it when background behind Strong font has already been the thing since the very beginning of Instagram Stories?? What you all could do is have an option both for background behind or shadow. and... What’s with the new suggested posts section after scrolling through “You’re all caught up”?? Why can’t we just keep on scrolling continously to view the older posts, why do even have to press ‘older posts’ so that we can view the older posts? This new update has unnecessary features which are pointless, the usual continous scrolling and viewing older posts is already fine! Nobody complains at all and has a problem... Furthermore suggested posts should be something we view in the explore page and not on our feed! Why do you even have to change it?? We don’t scroll continously in the main feed only to end up seeing the same mess and randomness of stuff of the explore page. Take this “Suggested Posts” and “View older posts” stuff out and go back to the original ways! Everyone is fine with the old feed already, this new update is just ruining the experience of instagram!

i love using instagram, but in the new update we can no longer view what people we follow like. i use this feature just as much as i use the app, it’s a good way for me to check in on my friends and see what they’ve been enjoying online. please bring this feature back! i know i will not be using the app anywhere near as much now that this feature has been removed.

this new experimental update bs in canada is trashhhhh. nobody likes it, wants nor wanted or asked for it!! it’s useless and we can’t even how many likes celebrities got or our friends like what is really the mf point?! AT LEASTTT have it as an option for whoever wants their likes hidden can hide it but the majority DO NOT! FIX IT. don’t be like snapchat were they add useless updates no one asked for 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽.

You took away the ability for me to see how many likes certain posts receive. My daughter has a business account and I log her likes, and her competitors likes in order to help her improve her posts and therefore, her business. I know this is a test right now.....but I’m feeling like it’s just not going to come back. The amount of time I spend on Instagram has declined tenfold. I am no longer excited to go on, and I no longer find it interesting or fun. I know the reasoning behind hiding the likes is to help against children being bullied by their peers...... but you should find a different way to govern that. Block THEIR ability to see number of likes. Or don’t let them be able to have an account until they are 19. Anything else. But don’t punish the rest of us. BRING BACK THE LIKES COUNT!!!

There’s this bug in the app that won’t let me open any account asides from one. I’m sure I put in all the information right because I tried to open multiple accounts and it’s the same case it keeps saying “Sorry there was a problem with your request”. I tried uninstalling the app and installing it again multiple times but nothing changed. But when I open the account on another phone it works. Can you please do something to help I’d appreciate it. Being shown what Instagram thinks I want to see takes a huge exploratory aspect away from this app. Go back to your roots Instagram, it worked for a reason.

I’ve always loved and preferred instagram until one time they disabled my newly opened account for absolutely no reason. Apparently, I signed up for a new account and planned to use that account for posting daily, more personal and casual stuff. I’ve only got the chance to update my profile picture and 2 days later, it got disabled, I didn’t even get to post my first picture. And FYI, I have NEVER used that account to leave any disrespectful or hurtful comment, I didn’t leave any at all. I didn’t do anything, literally. After I found out that my account got disabled, immediately, I tried to contact the team and did whatever they asked me to do. I gave them a brief description of the issue I was experiencing, the date I last had access to the account, how I lost access and blah blah blah. They just told me that my account was disabled and they disable accounts that don’t follow their terms of use and then listed a whole bunch of actions that are against their terms (which I have never ever attempted). I contacted them and explained everything all over again, hoping they will further investigate the case and get my account back. Nothing. They have not replied to my email since then. Now my account is gone forever and I can’t use the same email address to sign up for another instagram account. I mean, it wasn’t a big deal losing the account, it was empty anyway, I didn’t lose any posts or pictures. But it’s just unacceptable that instagram disabled my account with no warning and no explanation. I only noticed my account got disabled when it was not working normally and could not refresh the page. I didn’t even get an email telling me what was going on. Losing my account won’t kill me. But what about for those users who have been building theirs for years. Their effort could be gone in a split second. This is not the first time people’s account got disabled for nothing. Please, fix this problem. At least make real humans involved in the review.

My account won’t update me feed and whenever o follow someone new I only see like 5 of their posts on my feed from the 3 days ago and nothing new until I follow someone new again and then I’m stuck seeing like 5 of thier posts from 3 days ago and nothing else even the old posts from after it says I’m all caught up won’t refresh.
