Logging into Twitter now gets an error message saying to use the official app.

It's terrible. I bought it, but it doesn't work, and sometimes it works very badly. It's not worth it, and I regret buying it.

Doesn’t work and seems to not get any updates. Crashes all the time now.

Tell me why is hard for me to get a code tell me and I didn’t have this issue with the free one the only reason why I fell victim to paying was that I didn’t read the reviews on this able before paying it was after that’s just it

I’ve been unable to login to instagram or YouTube. I’ve used friendly previously without issue but it loses its appeal as “one app to rule them all” if I can’t access everything.

Yeah. Doesn't block ANY ads anymore, hasn't in months. Literally every other post will be an ad. All the time. If this is what face crack is like on mobile, it will be easy to stop using it forever

This app causes my phone to get really hot. They also haven’t updated it in a year even though the free version has been updated much more recently. Really sad that I paid for this

UPDATE: I’ve attempted to contact support. They have emails BLOCKED. I will be filing a complaint for fraud. | I paid for this! Now it seems that the developers could care less about the Plus paid version (which hasn’t received an update in months) yet the free version is getting an update every month?! WTH You would think with PAYING CUSTOMER it would be the other way around! Get your act together 😡 or I will make sure to note the name of this company and NEVER purchase an app from you EVER AGAIN

Is this app abandoned!Stay away from, because it’s awful. What happened with this new update? The top of the screen doesn’t work when tapped and the formatting is all over the place. Needs fixing with another update and fast.

When I originally purchased this app, it worked across all social media. Now they’ve lost support for half the items, and the key media download function causes the device to crash …

Broken app

The app says my browser isn’t supported and will not open either X nor Instagram. I wish I could leave zero stars.

Filter posts by keyword no longer works. Keeps showing posts. Ads are still showing. Follow posts are still showing. People you may know are showing. Downloads are crashing. The app is completely broken now. Everyone is complaining and you guys seem to have abandoned the app. Where is my refund?

This app hasn't been updated in over a year, but the free version was updated 2 weeks ago. Make it make sense!!

I’ve had the plus version FOREVER and now when I go to download a video or something it crashes completely rather it’s a video or a photo…it’s been like this for MONTHS I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled it

The original Friendly was great until it wasn’t great anymore. The past few months it would keep crashing. I would delete and then re-download the app and it still would crash the minute I would hit the download button. Then I found this version so downloaded it yesterday and paid the $.99 and this does the same thing. Please make Friendly Great Again!

Every time I try to download a video, the app crashes. I have the paid version and I’ve reached out to support to no avail. I would not recommend this app until that issue is resolved.

I have tried to use this app several times even after paying $52 for it and all it does is shut down when I try to download anything.

When I try to download videos like I USED to be able to do with Friendly, it just doesn’t work. A waste so far.

This app is great…was great. The reason is because there is no way to update the internet browser. That’s what the app says.

This was great….many years ago. They stoped updating features. Instagram hasn’t worked in a long time. Reels videos are glitchy. The app used to filter out all the “suggested” pages, letting you have a clean experience. That’s long gone too. There is no reason to use this anymore. It’s dead.

For the most part it works ok, but anything that I try to download app instantly crashes. Not ok in my book because I payed for this app.

Best app for my business as an on the go person- and you’ve not touched it in 11 months? What does that say about you as business owners yourselves , when we pay you to help us further our business and keep in touch with our customers? If you can’t do our best neither can we. Please do your best to fix the download crash!

This app is broken now with no support. Don’t download it, definitely don’t buy it.

It used to load both FB and Messenger ‘old school’. Still does, but messages complains browser (used by Friendly+) is out of date. My iPad is using the mist up to date versions of Safari and IOS…so it’s the app. Look elsewhere

It worked for a long time but recently doesn’t work. The app closes by itself

I loved the original Friendly, but when I used it to download my content from FB tonight it just kept crashing. (Was working fine the last time I used it in January). So I went to look for an update, and I found this plus version. It looked like downloading was a feature, so I paid the $.99 for what I thought was going to be the upgrade. Unfortunately it still crashes. I wouldn’t mind having paid the $.99 but it’s a waste if it doesn’t work any better than the free version. Please fix it!

Personally I have a really big problem with this app having this ability to take people’s money. It hasn’t been updated in a year. If the team is small, sell the app. If the team is done with support, sell the app. It’s NOT fair to update your free app like twice a year and then leave the paid version to suffer, ignoring all the reviews and comments and complaints while taking our money.

I use to love this app but now it doesn’t allow you to download videos to share on Facebook page. Don’t purchase if this is why you want to use this app. It completely crashes and takes you off the app

I upgraded to the + version thinking that would fix the downloading but it was just a waste of money. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. I am in the latest iOS and I have rebooted the phone. I have plenty of storage available and still nothing but a disappointment.

I've had this app for a longtime and in most cases I have give-up on it. I have removed and reinstalled it several times with no success. The new update is broken as have been the previous ones. I now have to recommend that you should stay away from purchasing until existing users repost positive reviews. Not sure I can take anymore.... Crash....Crash......Crash....on and on....

I paid for the Plus app and neither the Plus version or free version work. They hard close every time I try to download or save something. HELP

How are paying customers using a 10 month old version when free users are using a 1 month old version? Abandoning your paid version (especially when the free version is broken in some ways) is an odd choice

This used to be a great app, I used the free version for a very long time but recently it started crashing. I updated everything, deleted the app and redownloaded it, no change. I searched in the App Store again and found the paid version. I bought it hoping it do what it’s designed to do - it’s still crashing. Super disappointing.

Even with ad blocker on u still have a pop up down at bottom for the facebook app . WTH if we pay u to block ads then why does the company show a ad to not used friendly and use the facebook app . U don’t believe enough in ur own app?

App doesn’t work, it won’t save anything, app will automatically shut off and close it self.

App hasn’t been updated in almost a year. Can’t even log into Facebook with it anymore. Should be removed from the App Store since the app has been abandoned. Don’t buy unless there has been a recent app update making it functional again.

It’s a fraud they take your money but it don’t do nothing but open you want to download a video and the app just close I try it 3 time and it doesn’t do anything but close you app take you back to your screenshot of your front

Since the developer refuses to do any updates to the paid app the usefulness has bottomed out. Meta platforms constantly earn that the browser is no longer supported, while the ad supported app gets routine updates and has no such problems. Friendly is not worth your time anymore.

Got promoted for the upgrade - figured since the original app was junk maybe they fixed things with this one. Nope. Also junk - slow, clunky, gives errors and crashes when trying to download videos. Could the developers be any more useless?

Rather frustrating that I paid for this version, but the free one is getting all of the updates, including the broken Instagram browser in this one.

Complete waste of time.

This app used to be amazing. Now it is sitting here, without updates for almost a year. The non-premium version of this app gets updated regularly, but doesn’t have the features included here. I wish the developers would actually update this app, but I’m getting tired of waiting.

This app was the BEST once upon a time…. Now it seems like it gets worse and worse with each update… And the updates don’t come often at all… I’ve messaged support about issue numerous times but no response nor acknowledge was given… :-(

I loved this app it was just perfect, I wouldn’t mind paying a few bucks to make it great again ;)

Update: still garbage for Facebook and is now abandoned and no longer receiving updates where the free one gets occasional updates but they don’t work as seen in the reviews. This app use to be great. It greatly reduced my time on Facebook because I only saw the new posts and not what their “algorithm” wanted me to see. For about a week now all I see is about 4 posts then it no longer loads anymore. Totally unusable. I will update this review if it gets better. Update: I can see more than the 4 posts now, but now my timeline isn’t in chronological order anymore and the sponsored posts are no longer blocked.

Can’t log in to the app now. Been trying for 2 days. Need to refund my money

The browser is out of date. Instagram & Threads won’t recognize it. The Threads url is .com instead of .net. The UI uses the deadname Twitter instead of X (as much as I wish that were not the name, it’s simply fact…). Google login won’t recognize it. Seems like a good idea, but the browser needs to be modernized and more secure to actually do what it says on the tin. Sadly, this is a fail.

Friendly used to be great. It had been getting less and less stable, and eventually started showing me both Facebook’s interface and its own at the same time. Last time I used it, it froze up the phone so hard I had a hard time restarting the phone itself. Uninstalled.

Twitter blocked this app from working and now Instagram. The message when you go to the website is that the browser is outdated. It’s been six months since an update, another one please?

I loved this app and used it to replace the official Facebook app to get rid of useless annoyances like ads, stories, and the ability to sort my feed by most recent posts. Now, it hardly blocks ads, stories are once again visible, despite having the option turned on to hide them, and the most recent option is gone.

It’s been 4 months since the Friendly+ app received a bug fixes update and many features are not working properly. The annoying part is, that the “regular” subscription based Friendly app IS being updated and fixed on a regular basis, while we are left with a broken app and the developer is not answering emails!

Since you can (again) no longer download videos, the app has become worthless. You can copy the link or share straight from various social media if that’s what you wanted to do.

It doesn’t block ANY ads anymore! There is now a constant banner at the bottom that asks you to go to the actual FB app instead. And it no longer launches directly to my “Feed” page. I might as well use the actual fb app instead of this garbage! I paid for the app when it did what it said it would do, now they just can’t/wont keep up with FB updates to make this app worth using. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE APP!

The app use to let you download photos and videos, but for some reason you can’t download videos anymore. It has the button there, but when pressed, it says “no video available”. Not sure what happened. Please fix so I can love this app again. Thank you

The devs abandoned this, do not download or purchase. It's completely depreciated and hasn't worked correctly in over a year. I'm only here to uninstall it and give it a bad review while I'm on to an alternative.

This app used to be my favorite! I was able to use for my social media platforms without all of the ads, suggested content, reels and other junk. This app no longer filters anything, rendering it completely useless. How ultimately ridiculous!

Got this for Facebook. ABSOLUTELY loved it!!! I told all my friends and paid for the Plus version to support the devs. It used to handle what both Facebook apps would with a smaller footprint. That was awhile ago. The Messenger function no longer works at all and recently the main interface for FB has been crashing to the point of restarting my phone (15 Pro on iOS 17.5.1). It just did that again, and I just deleted the app and wrote this. It might work great for other things, but for FB, it’s lousy now.

Crashes consistently, can’t get the app to open. Can’t get the developers to respond. Used to be great, it’s been a dud for months, maybe even a year. It’s been over a month since the last update
