Habe das Monatsabo abgeschlossen, dass am 22. Juni endet. Trotzdem kann ich nicht mehr auf die App zugreifen. Wenn ich mir die App neu aus dem App Store herunterlade, werde ich aufgefordert, erneut zu bezahlen. Auch wenn ich erneut den sieben Tage gratis Zeitraum auswählen, kommt direkt das Bezahlfenster. Schade!

Hier handelt es sich offensichtlich um eine Abofalle. Im Store wird auf In App Käufe hingewiesen, nicht aber darauf, dass sich an eine kurze kostenlose Testphase automatisch ohne weitere Bestätigung ein kostenpflichtiges Abo anschließt.

Here’s the thing: If someone is going to cancel, they are likely to cancel after the trial anyway. If instead, they actually like the trial, they will most definitely subscribe, as the yearly price IS fair. However, subscribing for us, with an automatic charge, instantly puts our guards up. It appears you mean to subscribe us whether we agree to it or not. We were very excited to try this app out this season. Sadly, we cannot. You do not trust us to subscribe AFTER the trial, so you must not have faith in the product you provide. Why should we? Well, If things should change, we will also change our review -and more importantly, our decision to subscribe for the year. 😅

In spite of having a premium subscription there is no help when you contact the developers. If a plant is misidentified at the photo stage, you can’t change it. You can’t add your own plants. I won’t be resubscribing. Don’t bother wasting your money.

You may as well use chatGPT you will get better outcome, their AI gave me completely wrong answers. I was hoping to get a tailored AI tool to gardening but that’s not the case. For example, when I asked about effect of ground coffee on my lemon tree soil it said it might make the soil too alkaline but after a few google search the actual answer is fresh ground coffee make soil acidic and used ground coffee is ph neutral. Paying £21 for this would be a waste. Also there is an animation that never end when launching the app for the first time.

Plants not properly identified making the app pretty much useless (especially for subscription). And there’s no way to delete your account (only log out and they keep your personal info and cookies on your phone).

Baixei o Aplicativo para testar e fui cobrado sem utilizar. Tento fazer o reembolso e não consigo!

Indignada com esse app. Baixei por curiosidade, mas não pretendia assinar. Seria enviada notificação antes da cobrança, o que não aconteceu. Cobraram o valor anual ao invés do mensal e eu tentei de todo jeito o reembolso, mas não consegui. R$ 150,00 jogados fora. Um absurdo!

Muitos erros no app, erros graves como dizer que a planta suporta temperaturas extremamente baixas sendo que não é verdade e erros do tipo: dizer que uma determinada planta prefere sombra e depois dizer que a mesma planta prefere sol pleno. Horrível

Impreciso

I did a photo search on the net and wanted a more accurate answer for the type of lawn and weeds I have. When using this app I had the same photos and information that I found for free on google search. The developer has found an easy way to make money for little to no work just by linking this app to search engines. Don’t waste your money 👎🏼

While it manages to identify some problems with plants it gets lots of them wrong. For example told that frost had damaged the plants and to move from outside so they didn’t get frost bitten. We are in a semi tropical area with no frost. Don’t understand why it would not come up with a range of possible problems rather than just one. At least then I could find things that are more likely.

Fron a few pictures the app diagnosed: - lack of water due to the absence of real soil (there is soil) - healthy plant with perfect soil (when i replied that there IS soil) - lack of water with recommendation to soak the plant. (Terrible advice because i'm pretty sure the plant is actually overwatered and the plant is a SUCCULENT). It also identified (from the same pictures) two distinct plants. This is clearly an AI giving random advice that *sounds* plausible. Not specifically trained on plants at all. Beyond the pretty design there is nothing.

It is worse at identifying plants than even the free iPhone photos app. Its diagnoses of problems are completely random. Save yourself the money and just use a free app for identification and then google or ask a free AI chatbot for care tips (and take everything with a grain of salt).

Ik zou een melding krijgen dat mn gratis proeftijd over zou zijn, maar heb deze niet gehad. Nu zit ik er een jaar aan vast, beetje jammer want zat er niet op te wachten omdat de app me tegen valt. Slechte service want kan nergens ook maar een contact nummer of e-mail vinden om dit te melden. Erg slecht!

I have been trying to use this for a couple of months now and not once had it identified any plant or leaf correctly. I am unable to I make it of any use at all. Going to try picture this. AI is easy to use and I like the format but so far I’m not impressed with its response or results.

The plant identifier is nice, the when to water is nice, though I did discover my plants do better when I check the soil for moisture rather then go by a calendar. The light indicator does not seem accurate, told me inadequate light even when grow lights were on. But the biggest dissatisfaction was not once did I see any suggestions similar to the commercials, ie “add sugar”, “coffee” whatever and that’s what I was really interested in. PS if you have a freshwater aquarium, I do recommend you save the water when you clean the tank-great to water plants with.

You don’t find out that the app is only free for 7 days until you download it after which you have to pay a subscription and if you have made a mistake by downloading it in the first place there’s no way to cancel it .

The app doesn’t do what the advertising states. You can find out what’s wrong with a plant after you jump through hoops. My main complaint is that when you sign up for 7 day trial there is an option to get a reminder that the trial is coming to an end, but they don’t let you know! I cancelled mine on the 7 th day and they didn’t cancel it thought it said in my apps it was. So they charged me nearly $35 for the year, I contacted them and they said sorry for your problems but we don’t refund money! You will have to try through Apple! So my recommendation is don’t get this app !

If there were a zero, I'd give it. I followed instructions, took photos of a couple of my sick plants. It commended a very bedraggled begonia for its shiny leaves and lovely flowers! It gave me a wrong identification and told me that it "loved the bright purple flowers on my hoya plant (which has clusters of pink flowers). Unfortunately, I went over the number of days trial and so was charged $50 for the pleasure! I could probably chase the money, but I suspect it would be a waste of time.

Hab mir die App im App-Store angeschaut, da waren keine Kosten zu sehen . Hab die App runtergeladen , dann erst den Preis gesehen und die App SOFORT wieder GELÖSCHT. Das war vor einigen Tagen. Heute bekomme ich eine Mitteilung: IHR ABO LÄUFT AB . Eine Unverschämtheit ihresgleichen findet man sehr selten. Nur fürs Runterladen und Löschen fast 30 Euro. 😡

Plant AI does not show this trial subscription anywhere under your AppleID, on purpose I suspect. They’ve found a crack in Apple’s system so that they can scam all free 7-day trial users into paying for a year. It appears that Plant Parent set this up to be an in-app purchase instead of a proper subscription. I asked Apple - Apple can’t see it to cancel it for you, and later Apple won’t help cancel the charge when it comes on day 8 because it’s an “in-app purchase”. Plant Parent intentionally does not give any option to cancel anywhere in the app (I’ve read every line of every page, just like many others). If contacted (they only have an email, no phone etc), and you happen to get a response, they’ll apparently send you to iTunes(?!) to cancel it (no one can get this to work). In other words, once you start the 7-day trial, you’re paying for a year, unless you have luck disputing the charge with Apple (keep documentation), or later disputing the Apple charge with your credit card (documentation needed as well). I strongly recommend filing a scam report with your AppleID with Apple. Surely Apple does not want this sort of behavior in its App Store.

Zodra je de “gratis” app installeert zit je vast aan een abonnement dat na 7 dagen ingaat. Dat moet je zelf dan weer gaan opzeggen. Dit vind ik oplichterij. Laat de keuze duidelijk bij de klant. Marjan

Diese App ist eine Frechheit. Im Testzeitraum wurde bereits die Jahresgebühr abgebucht. Ansonsten überwiegend unbrauchbare Informationen. Hier geht es offensichtlich nur darum die Kunden abzuzocken.

Ho scaricato l’app e prima di aprirla ho letto le recensioni, scandaloso da parte di Apple utilizzare questi metodi poco trasparenti per degli abbonamenti. P.s. l’app l’ho cancellata ancor prima di aprirla.

I kept receiving videos of this app. Diagnosing why my plants were not healthy and how I could heal them. Advertised as FREE. After downloading, the app won’t open unless you buy a year subscription. Is this not illegal? It’s called false advertising.

Sto tentando da vari giorni di disinstallare l’app che avevo scaricato per prova; non mi soddisfa, e’ imprecisa e non dà indicazioni esaustive. La settimana gratuita scadrà domani: come fare per evitare che mi abboni automaticamente? Non voglio sprecare 35€…..

Ti dice gratis, invece dopo una settimana di prova parte l’abbonamento che non è neppure così facile da bloccare nei 7 giorni di prova. Se non riuscirò a bloccarla farò una segnalazione all’associazione consumatori. Non scaricatela neppure per saperne di più!

L’app non è assolutamente gratuita. Una volta scaricata si apre con una comunicazione che indica che il periodo gratuito è di una settimana, poi passa AUTOMATICAMENTE ad un abbonamento del costo di circa 35€ annui. Spero di riuscire facilmente a disinstallarla e ad annullare l’abbonamento

Die Identifikation funktioniert nicht richtig. Die Funktion macht den Eindruck als werden irgendwelche Lösungen Mal ausprobiert. Nach dem Motto irgendwann wird schon die richtige Antwort dabei sein. Bzgl Diagnose kann ich nur soviel sagen als mögliches Problem wurde mir Unterwässerung angezeigt. Dabei ist die Erde feucht. Entweder das ist misserabel übersetzt oder es ist eine falsche Diagnose. Und dann dieser Preis als ABO!!!! Viel zu teuer!!! Soviel würd ich nicht Mal als Einmalpreis zahlen Habe das kostenlose Probeabo am gleiche Tag wie die Aktivierung wieder gekündigt. Wenn ich könnte, würd ich nicht Mal einen Stern geben.

Wieso ist das so teuer? Hätte ja schon ein Abo abgeschlossen, aber nicht zu diesem Preis, deswegen die Kündigung !!!

This is an amazing app. I tried several, none had the details and the in-depth information on how to resolve the issue. I first got the year membership for use on my lawn, and it’s been a huge time saver. No more showing a picture to the guy at the garden center that just got terminated from Taco Bell and is only an expert at growing “really awesome bud, dude, it’s like the best ever” (a real conversation with a local garden manager). I use it on everything that God has created to grow in the ground. Every time I use it I get not just an answer as to the issue, but information about the plant. You don’t have to have a problem to identify a plant and get care instructions for it. Bravo PlantAI! Awesome app!

So in love with this apps. As a beginner in gardening i just love to be able to know whats actually the problems with my plants

Eu simplesmente amo esse app, todas as dicas funcionam de verdade, e é muito difícil ele errar qual a planta da foto. Vim colocar a minha avaliação como forma de agradecimento, tinha um cacto coração de pedra, que começou a apodrecer, lá dizia pra cortar ele ao meio e separar a parte saudável da contaminada (uma coisa bem extrema, corta o meu querido ao meio), mas o fiz e por Deus, funcionou de verdade; fiquei muito contente e indico pra todos que conheço que amam suas plantas a usar esse app, sem ser premium nem nada esse app é incrível demais 💚🍀🌿

This app is very helpful for diagnosing diseases and curing plants. I like the variety of different tools that you can use, and the AI chat to get quick info about them. though there have been a few times that the app has given inaccurate information, it is good for the most part. This has also been the only plant app that offers disease diagnoses and ways to cure them that I have found so far, every other app I have tried wants me to pay, but this one doesn’t. I would highly recommend for anyone that has plants and is looking for app to help in keeping them healthy.

This is an important feature for plant care and why I tried the app. But the buttons don’t work. So have cancelled the subscription. To be fair the developer got back to me with a possible fix, but by then my trial period had ended. I was unwilling to purchase the subscription without a trial.

I really do enjoy using your app, it’s helped me quite a bit navigate plants & diseases of East Texas. I am disappointed though that some of your advertisements show a sick plant scenario and say to give the plant milk or coffee or cinnamon, etc., etc., however this is not offered at this time even to premium members though it is advertised on commercials/ads. Overall though this is a very good app which I’ll continue with. Question: IDK if this is possible… If I took a picture of a certain area of my land and described if it were sunny/partially sunny/shady & type of soil, if the app could suggest different types of plants filtered by what I’m looking for (IE: lots of color, maybe a bush, very tall Plants or grasses, tall plants and what kind of shorter plants should be in front of them. —Just suggestions. Just started using this app. Took a photo of our Tecoma through a window with a fly screen and it recognised the species immediately.

So I innocently assume free meant free and that there would be some limitations. No, wants your card details and you can have 7 days free. I hate it when it says free but actually it means free until you have to pay a subscription 🤨😢

I have been using this app for around 3 months and I reckon it is around 98% accurate to date. Very reliable identification and good guide to plant health. Really impressed and would definitely recommend.

Although Plant AI and I got off to a bad start when it identified a Rhododendron as a Tulip Tree and still does, it has been invaluable identifying the remainder of the plants planted by previous owners. No need to plant blueberries now as they are already here. How exciting. I’ve identified 30+ flowers, trees, and bushes. If I can’t recall a certain plant and its care, I go to history. This is one app I’m keeping.

This is so fun! I love learning the names and characteristics of my plants and my friend’s plants too! Cool app! May even consider keeping past the free trial. $40/year. I have yet to experience finding a sick plant and getting guidance to bring it back to health but if that works then I’m all in!!!

When the app first came out, it was so beautiful, I loved that each of plants had a personality. I rooted for the app But then it expanded in the worst way. The best way to put it, is I feel like the UI got “polished” with graffiti. It’s just a mess now, and “Greva” can talk to me about how to deal with a migraine, as well as have political conversations with me, or even give me advice on filing my taxes. Is there a beta team or QA that happens? Some of the issues should be caught by an internal team
