Unable to connect.

I was hoping to tweek files developed on my computer but no access to anything but XCS

Facing the same connectivity issues identified by others when using the M1 Ultra

I cannot connect my device with my phone. I have tried everything.

Doesn’t support newer Xtool products

I would give zero stars but I can’t! The XTool Creative Space Mobile app has stop working with the XTool Studio laptop software. Raised it with customer service and they said that they are aware and the development are aware. XTool have no urgency to get a new app out that is compatible. I cannot use the Snapshot feature that is used as a camera due to the M1 Ultra not having a fixed camera. This is the advertised way of seeing you design on the material on the laser bed. Come on XTool you need to do a lot better.

App lasst sich nicht mit dem Gerät verbinden. Egal wie man es versucht. Mit dem Laptop lässt sich das Gerät ohne Probleme verbinden. Ich kann also keine Bilder in der App machen und es an meinen Laptop schicken!

Someone from support from xTool named Mac said on Reddit the new firmware doesn’t support app connectivity anymore Literally can’t use the snapshots feature anymore which was a main selling point of the machine

App ben fatta ma a mio parere è diventata obsoleta , tra la versione desktop e questa c'è un abisso, le prime versioni andavano pari passo con l'app desktop ora nemmeno i progetti si sincronizzano più con lo stesso account, come se seguissero 2 schemi diversi , lo stesso progetto non posso aprirlo in contemporanea perchè sul telefono non legge più i progetti nuovi perché mancano delle funzionalità che hanno aggiunto sul software desktop e invece per iOS no quindi sono incompatibili, speriamo che aggiornino al più presto

xTool Creative Space unterstützt leider immer noch keine aktuellen Modelle wie den F2. xTool Studio für Mac und Win ist grundsätzlich eine gute Software, aber Tablets sind inzwischen auch im Fertigungsbereich längst Standard. xTool sollte endlich ein Update bringen, damit neue Modelle vernünftig mobil genutzt werden können. So ist XCS für mich aktuell leider nicht zu gebrauchen.

日本のApp StoreでxTool Creative Space Mobileが バージョン2.2.0のままで更新されていません。 そのためF2 Ultraが選択できず使用できません。 iPhone 17 Pro Max / iOS 26.4.2で確認しています。 日本でも最新バージョンを使えるように アップデート対応をお願いします。

The snapshot preview works half of the time, very spotty.

I just bought the F2, tried connecting to the device through the app, but the app doesn't even show an option for the newer engraver models. As a leader in the laser engraver industry, this app should be updated to support their own products. It has been over a year since the mobile app's update

This app doesn't have any of the newer xTool products like the F2 Ultra. It's extremely disappointing. Almost as disappointing as my entire experience with xTool has been. Months of grief and frustration with never ending email chains and bottom feeder customer service agents that can ONLY pass you along to the "Back Room" customer service team that then passes you along to someone else. The on hold music is purposefully irritating to the point where you either end up hanging up or contemplating su!c!de

Immediately receiving the machine its Apple software doesn’t work at all yet it claims online and everywhere it’s compatible with IOS YET I CANT DO ANYTHING FOR DAYS NOW OR EVEN FIND THE SAME SETTINGS AS IM SHOWN ON TUTORIALS

I love xtool and all its product. But fire whoever made this stupid app. It crashes every 2 minutes. It’s fidgety. Text and typing to engrave something is an absolute joke. It’s not made for phones, iPads or anything touchscreen. Beyond poorly optimised

Leider muss ich feststellen das der Xtool F2 nicht mit der App kompatibel ist. Zumindest ist es nicht möglich das Modell auszuwählen und eine WLan Verbindung hergestellt zu bekommen.

Die Neuen Geräte fehlen, kein F2 kein Ultra usw. Wann kommt ein Update?

Neue Geräte fehlen. F2 / Ultra lässt sich weder per Assistent noch per IP Adresse einbinden. Es fehlt in der Beschreibung für welche Geräte die App geeignet ist und auch auf der Website fehlt der Hinweis. Dort wird man aber immer auf die App verwiesen. Sehr schade.

Leider fehlt der F2 und die WLAN Einbindung ist eine Katastrophe!!!

This app shows the start/intro screen, but will not move past that. Reinstalled several times with no change.

I just got my first Xtool, thinking a P2S was a convenient leap into co2 lasers and easier management/setup. Figured I’d be able to ease into it without moving my laser computer until I can use the p2s for everything, but nope! Can’t do any setup from the app and can’t use the xtool software on Linux. It’s just a glorified start button. Can’t even update the firmware for the app because it just takes you back to the App Store. Can’t access the camera’s, move, or even design anything. You can open a file and hit start, but wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t even work. The app seems just as useless as the Neje and Sculpfun app.

Unfortunately the app crashes pretty much all the time if I am mainly trying to edit a trace an image and turn it into a vector Does it sometimes with other things also. Unfortunately this makes it unusable for me. It’s a great idea and could be such a handy app. If your wanting to use it exclusively for mobile then I wouldn’t recommend at all. Computer program works fine no issues but this is too unreliable unfortunately and your also missing quite a lot of features. Hopefully all this will be addressed soon as Xtool appear to be a good company 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 1 year update and they still haven’t addressed this problem, it a real shame as I thought they were a more reliable company.

Cost my business over a thousand dollars by changing my material on my saved files without my authorization. NO DOT USE THOS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Every time I go to try to do anything, the app crashes… constantly asking me to update the Wi-Fi settings for password, which I don’t need. And when I do load a project, the background picture from another project shows up and when I click hide background, it disappears for about 10 seconds and then pops right back up and then app crashes

Trying to trace a simple image and the app crashes and disconnects. Using the slide extension for the F1 makes me recalibrate every time it reopens after crashing. Simple actions should not be this difficult. Everything is up to date. Please fix asap.

I’m at work. Had an idea for project. Open XCS on iPhone. Can’t start a new project without being connected to my M1. ?? Why??

The app freezes constantly on an iPhone with iOS 18.1 it’s so frustrating.

Would be ok if it did but crash so often, it keeps going back to the main page and asking if I want to continue project

I just got the M1 Ultra and attempted to make ornaments. Red cross is consistently off when attempting to use the snapshot feature and camera calibration is extremely difficult for my husband and I. We were unable to complete it. Ruined a few pieces before I gave up and marked everything manually. Took me a lot of time to realize it's not necessarily the machine that is not correct but this app. And influencers try to make this a selling point? This is the worst feature about the M1 Ultra and the camera under the lid should have never gone away. The only saving grace for the machine is the swappable modules, otherwise I would have inquired about returning the machine. Very frustrating and not a good impression for someone new to xTool.

Now I’m stuck and can’t use the machine!

The app keeps telling me I need to do a mandatory firmware update of my new M1 ultra. But to do that the software tells me I need to update the app first. But the app is already updated to the latest available version. Uninstalled and re-installed everything. Same issue. I am unable to use the device because of this bug!!!. This is a very bad start on my first X-tool machine and gets me very doubtful about keeping the entire set or sending it all back and going for a more establised model. @Xtool: fix this immediately!

The mobile app is completely room. It was great for quick projects before. But now you can’t even edit text without an act of Congress. Looking at the data throughput, this is all about them taking our personal information and have nothing to do with improving our experience. It is so broken that I will not purchase a laser from this company again. What a waste of the loyalty from Creative Space and XTool.

The latest update has rendered the app useless to me now, as I can no longer trace an image to convert it into a vector.. something I did use on a regular basis…

New beta version is horrible. I left my IPad charging overnight and it automatically updated to beta version which I was dreading as other users have experienced significant problems. Sure enough, app crashes randomly, buttons are hidden, process flow is the same number of steps but the steps have changed (why, what did we gain from this?). As someone who works in tech, the user experience should be top of mind and updating something for the purpose of updating is an amateur move. What a complete joke.

This version is much more difficult than old version, The old interface is much more cleaner and easier to understand where everything is! And with less taps!! I prefer the older version any day! WHY DID YOU REMOVE THE DELETE and DUPLICATE on the corners when selecting an item ?? Its much faster that way.. *only thing that is better in my opinion is the new ability to trace and move texts/objects while tracing and outlining. Focus on speed and less taps for every thing!

It will not cut along a vector on my F1. Makes it useless.

This app lacks serious functionality. There isn’t even a search function for images which I find ridiculous in 2024. If you want to actually design something you have to use another app this one is only for Final Cut/score/engrave. You can add text or upload your own design but that’s is for this app. You’ll have a pay for an app like illustrator to actually design anything. Good luck understanding how to actually use it because there is no tutorial or step by step that shows you how to get a final product after you upload a design. The app doesn’t show you grids for placement of your material on the laser and everything seems to be a toggle button you have to find like centering lines. Some things should be a standard function of the design app and they haven’t figure that out yet. Don’t bother with this app IMO.

It doesn’t work well over WiFi at all! I wish the iPhone 15promax and and iPad with USB-C could eventually plug in directly!

When the app is working, it’s great. I can design tons of things on my phone and iPad for quick projects. But the app is constant crashing and not saving anything I’ve done. It’s much worse on the iPad, but crashes on both.

Love how easy it is to use. I just wish it would keep all the projects regardless of the de ice you log in to use. If I create something on my phone and save it, it will not show in the iPad or computer when logged in.

I was beyond stoked to finally try what I bought a year ago. I will say that I love my purchase because how easy this app is.

Had to use mobile because buttons were not showing up on the iPad. Xtool needs to review their application for the iPad, especially when updates are done in Apple.

I have an extra tool S1 40 W it is the absolute best thing I have ever spent money on and I currently have purchased an F2 ultra that came in today. Outstanding products thank you Ex Tool.

The test was easy to download and easy to implement even via remote app from my phone. I ran it as a test through my phone and went very well.

I bought an xTool S1 because this software, free with the machine, makes it just so easy to use compared to the complications of Lightburn driven lasers. I have been using lasers for over 10 years, mostly with their own clunky propriety software. So for me xTool’s Creative Space has been a serious, innovative step forward and a joy to use.

It‘s pretty cool. BUT: There‘s one very, very important feature missing from the previous Laserbox Model P1. Direct lasercutting of drawn red lines. Please include this feature again, please! 1st and 2nd graders LOVED it! For them, it was super easy to be creative and make things with the Laserbox. Now it is very complicated. So again, please make it possible via firmware update: That children can draw lines with a red pen, insert it into the Laserbox and push the button. And the Laserbox cuts along this red lines. Please, if someone reads this, please report it to the programmers (if you are not a programmer yourself. ;) Then i will recommend your Product to every school that wants to buy your products without heistation, and give you fire stars. Way better than before. I used this when it was first released. It had limited uses. Now, I would it’s even better than desktop now. Highly recommend!!

棚板変更時の計測が判りにくい、YouTubeなど見ましたがもっと簡単げでした。　出力までは、結構な試行錯誤が必要

L’app da smartphone o da tablet non permette di salvare con nome i progetti, e nemmeno di trasferire un disegno su un’altra tela o almeno non sono riuscita a capire come poterlo fare. Quando sarà possibile farlo sarà un grande traguardo per chi come me la usa soprattutto da dispositivi diversi dal pc.

Man kann das Bearbeitungsfeld nicht mehr unten lassen um Sachen zu verschieben, App bricht ständig zusammen oder reagiert einfach nicht.

I’m not liking the update. I don’t mind updates when things improve but it keeps crashing when I use the trace feature. I need this to work the way it’s intended.

It is very useful, with excellent user experience and simple interface and stable function. I like to use it with my F1 very much. Both of them are green design, very beautiful and fashionable!
