The app regularly fails to login. It’ll say something about setting your country or allowing app login. The country will already be correctly chosen, but it won’t work. There is no magic “allow app login” setting, it’s a bad error message. Anker support is absolutely no help in resolving this. You can’t login to the app, you can’t use the app. This includes when you’re off grid or the grid is down. Then you can’t even login to your grid down app to manage your batteries. Really bad app.

I encourage everyone to review the privacy policy prior to downloading. The information Anker collects is excessive for the products they provide. At minimum, agreeing to their terms you will agree to have them collect your personal information, including your name, phone number, email address, social media posts, etc. The information collected will not be collected by Anker, but also their third parties. I realize that in today’s world it’s hard to protect your personal information, but freely giving up your information to be monetized and sold to multiple data brokers that are making money on your info is something you should be concerned with. This was a great app for seeing and controlling your Anker products. Anker ruined the app by placing big ads right in the middle of the screen which you can not remove or bypass without clicking on the ad and having it fill the whole screen before it will let you go pass to your devices. If it did it only once per ad, then it would not be bad, but you must go through the ad each time you use the app. Anker is looking at their bottom line more than their customers and quality products.

My password manager detected while I was signing up that the app is trying to store my credentials for anker.com.cn. I’m not knowingly giving a Chinese company access to my WiFi and Bluetooth communications and it seems disingenuous to not disclose that upfront.

I use the app to control the 160W charger’s modes so it doesn’t trip airplane outlets, but it needlessly requires internet for that, so you’re out of luck in the air. Consider changing this functionality.

Why won’t this app work without internet connectivity? I was camping remotely and could not use it. That is very, very lame. Also, reconnection with the Anker device needs a LOT of engineering work. I can see the Solix advertising over BLE and connect to it with a scanner app, but this app is puzzled and cannot see it. I know BLE over iOS is challenging so you need to find better developers. And better QA; this app should never have been released.

I just bought a Solex C1000, and it is a great little thing. I thought it was a real winner until I tried the app. It is quite horribly designed. It is glitchy and very hit and miss if it will change pages. Yes, it shows the information you need to know about your Solex, but it is so difficult to read. There is a massive space in which to present that information, but the designers chose to use the smallest text possible. Why? Can you change it in your phone settings? Yes, I tried, but it is still tiny. Also, it beggars belief that the app does not have dark mode to help some people see that minute text, and also to preserve power on the phone. Isn’t power preservation the object of this exercise? Come on Anker, you can do better than this!

App does not work without a network connection. Yes, believe it or not someone thought that having a device that you use during power outages should be dependent on having an internet connection. It uses Bluetooth to communicate, so this makes no sense. I am seriously debating returning the F3000 and going with a different brand. If there is a legitimate reason for this I’d love to know why. Anker? To be clear, the device (an F3000) itself appears to work fine without a connection. You just can’t manage it via the app without a connection. So you basically have a crippled unit that you can’t change the settings on. Again, why? Ugh. The support link listed in the app listing on the App Store just goes to the Anker homepage with a big ad on it, not to a page with support of any kind.

This is the only app I have that signs me out regularly as of it’s 2008. I’ll never understand why Anker refuses to use Face ID & logs users out regularly. I have hundreds of passwords. It’s impossible to remember them all. And I can’t be bothered with having to spend time using apps that require me to constantly look up my password somewhere. Don’t waste my time! I’ve since stopped buying Anker products and have purchased several EcoFlow products because they are not so ignorant.

Why must I have to log in to access my devices? Oh wait, I know why: so their marketing nerds can track our use of the app and our devices. Well, I HATE it! App continues to sign me out, week after week. Developer always replies that it’s the users fault. No, it isn’t. I shouldn’t be signed out unless I do it myself. And I always check the box to stay signed in… which is obviously useless. This isn’t an app I’m regularly opening every single day. But every week I’m signed out and notifications about the status of my devices stops coming through because I have to open the app and sign back in manually. Absolutely ridiculous this is still happening after years of complaints. Won’t be buying anymore Anker products simply because of this incompetence and refusal to fix.

I seriously regret choosing Anker over EcoFlow for my UPS as choice. Not only does this app not have the option to limit battery charge, but it also doesn’t even let you view the battery’s health. The latter was also apparently a feature that USED to exist but was taken away. Anker said they were working to reimplement it, but that was over a year ago. I’m doubtful Anker was being truthful in their claim on that. How hard is it to add a battery health readout?? Also, no battery limiter option is a major red flag. Constantly charging to 100% dramatically shortens a battery’s lifespan, even for the LiFePO4 batteries that Anker sells. Not giving battery management software that feature is seriously shady and makes me question Anker’s intentions on doing so, especially when EcoFlow has shown it can be done, as their own app and batteries have it.

UPDATE: updated to 3.4.2 and now my Bluetooth keeps going offline too. I have to reset the button on the unit before I can use the app. This is not so easy for me as the display is not so easily accessed in my setup (this why I need the Bluetooth). Sometimes it works and sometimes it requires a reset. No improved optimisation. ——-REVIEW OF APP, NOT UNIT. I don’t understand why this app has good reviews? It doesn’t do anything useful, other than a timer to delay a section shutoff. I cannot delay to start a power section? It does not save any history data for usage, temperature, battery cycles, or anything. The usage graphs are useless as they only show a few seconds. There have been no feature updates in a year, yet the units are still selling new. Why is this app so bad? These features are not difficult to program into apps. I expected more from a company like Anker. I like my 767/F2000, with the only glitch so far being the USB-A ports going offline requiring to physically replug them in. Thus I don’t use them. My brand loyalty is wavering as customer experience seems to not be important. This app is very disappointing!

This app requires some VERY invasive permissions just to let me see the status of my Anker battery? The battery is good but the amount of personal information, contacts, surfing habits, social media and purchase information it wants to collect is unconscionable. Combined with the fact that this is a Chinese company where social credit score is king, this app appears to be an attempt to build similar profiles of users all over the world. This app is basically spyware, potentially for a foreign government.

In fact, manually connecting it to WiFi is slow and doesn’t seem to work consistently. GaNPrime: after updating the firmware today I noticed that it thinks it is January 1st, not December 31st. There doesn’t seem to be any way to adjust the time or time zone.

Requires login every time you open app. Does not utilize Face ID. Says device offline when 5 minutes ago it connected. Random connection to app. One of the worst apps I’ve ever used.

ユーザーに関連付けされた連絡先情報が収集されるので使いたくなかったが、インバータから充電するためにAC充電時の入力電流を設定しなければならず、やむを得ずダウンロード。結果としてインバータからの充電は出来なかった。問い合わせるとインバータからの充電は想定していないそうだ。無駄な情報提供をしただけ。 AC充電の入力や周波数、急速充電等が本体のみでは設定出来ないのはアプリ利用者の拡大を図り、より多くの情報を収集するためなのだろうか?

This apps requires you to register for no reason. There’s absolutely no reason to have to sign up for an account to use this app. Why can’t we just buy a product that isn’t trying to steal our personal information. Hot garbage. Just make an app that works as intended. Stop trying to take users information to sell to third party marketing. It basically makes this app NOT FREE.

I’m upset that this app or the Anker device can’t seem to get Bluetooth to work. Bluetooth is on and I’m inches from the device yet Anker can’t figure it out. And why do I need yet another account somewhere just to enable the device to connect to wifi? Its stupid and half-baked.

Tells me the same information as the LCD for the most part. Tells me I need to update firmware but won’t let me update even when fully charged docked or undocked. Two previous anker devices- one died after 90d and the second arrived bricked. Current device works fine but now this with a bum app. Last anker product I buy.

It shows a small graph that only shows instantaneous power usage. I would like that graph to be able to expand so I can see average power consumption over a duration. This would give me a better idea of how much battery usage things that run intermittently like a refrigerator or actually using. It also does not show amps it only shows watts having that option would be a plus Basically, all the Appia to do is turn the light on and off and turn the outlets on and off that’s it

This app borders on utterly useless for controlling the Anker EverFrost 40. When I power up the cooler and try to connect the app: - I have to manually enter my email address and password. It doesn’t even prompt me with my saved login credentials from Apple Keychain. - After logging in, the cooler I have used and connected to the app dozens of times does not appear. The app cannot find it. I have to manually search for and choose my specific product and connect it. - The app is now connected to my cooler and functions - but wait! As soon as I am out of BT range, the app loses its connection and asks me to reconnect it by tapping a button in the app. It does not auto-reconnect as any other paired BT device would. - The above happens EVERY TIME I WANT TO POWER UP MY COOLER AND CONNECT THE APP. The engineers who developed this embarrassingly poor app should be ashamed to associate themselves with it. Given its high rating by others, I can only assume that it actually works for other Anker products - but it certainly does not for the EverFrost. Nice product testing, guys. 🙄

I bought the new Prime Power Bank and I t has an app.Why I don’t know since the power bank has a display on it and gives me the details I need, but the app lets me find it if lost so I install the app. When I start the app I t makes me agree that it can take all my info that it wants, then requires me to crate a new account. Seriously? Everything requires an account these days, I am tired of it. There is no need for me to sign away all details of my life for a battery. I will be uninstalling.

C1000で使用しております。2拠点で異なるWi-Fiルーターに接続して使用していますが、いちいち、手動で接続設定しなければならずかなり面倒です。複数の登録されているルーターのうち、一台でも検出したら自動で接続してくれればいいだけなのですが…。またスマホとタブレットで同じ機器を管理できない(アカウントにログインできるのは一端末のみ)など、誰得なのでしょうか?謎仕様が多すぎます。

PrimePowerBank 27650mAhが発売したのでアプリに接続しました。 まず充電中のデザインがとてもダサい。 緑色のメーターが1秒毎に下から上に伸びるのを繰り返すだけで、驚くほど安っぽいです、100%まで充電されているわけでも無いのに一番まで伸びていきます。 Bluetooth接続が切れたり満充電される度に通知は不要だと思います。 むしろバッテリー残量が少なくなってきた時に通知が来ると助かる気がします。
