Over the past 6 months I’ve been using Goodnotes extensively, for more than 8 hours a day at certain points. There’s lots I’ve loved, from the different options of pens and papers to use as well as how simple it is to upload files to write and annotate over. However, this week I’ve had to switch over to Noteful and the reason behind this is entirely due to what I believe is optimisation issues within the app. While writing on my Ipad, my screen starts heating up almost instantly to the point where it starts becoming painful to touch. It also has been eating away at my battery health, where an IPad I brought at the beginning of the year has dropped in battery health to 88% despite being brand new less than 6 months ago. This is a massive issue as a few days ago it began heating up so much to the point where my IPad stopped charging completely, even after I had closed the app. I am unsure why a note taking app does require so much battery but due to this I have had to switch to alternatives as it continues to degrade my Ipad and I worry that one day it will just crash and I will lose all work I have been going through. Should Goodnotes fix these overheating and battery issues I’d love to come back as other note taking apps can’t compete but sadly for the time being the issue is to large to tolerate any longer :(

When I first bought Goodnotes, before the update to Goodnotes 6, I had no issues whatsoever. Since updating to Goodnotes 6 it has been one issue after another. While I’m writing it will start randomly changing my pen colour, or draw random straight lines, or start inserting sticky notes. I reported the issue through the app and never heard anything back. I do not recommend purchasing if you haven’t already. They need to sort these issues as they’re extremely frustrating and annoying as someone who uses Goodnotes to take notes for college. I genuinely feel like I wasted my money and the only reason I am still using it is because I paid the 30 euro to permanently get the full app.

Will not sync with another device outside of your iCloud even when you’ve signed in with your iCloud account. I have a family device I use, which has it’s own separate login to my personal devices, and even though there is an option to sign in to GoodNotes with a different iCloud account to the one on the device, it will not sync with that account. The user name is the same, but all other details are different. Very disappointed, lots of talk about it being able to sync to mac, windows etc, but it won’t. It will only sync to devices that are signed in to your ID. I have a work computer that I also wanted to access my notes from, but no. I’ve also rated this 1 star as a last directed effort to get a response from the developers about this issue. I have sent numerous mails to support asking for assistance, but nothing, so… If they respond, and my issue is resolved, I’ll change my review. Happy to take my money, but won’t offer a discount becuase part of the offering does not work.

I would like to report several issues I’ve encountered after updating to Goodnotes 6 (v7.0.6) on my iPad Air (7th generation, iPadOS 26.0.1). These problems do not appear to be related to the device itself. 1. Context menu disappearing when using Smart Keyboard When using Goodnotes with the Smart Keyboard, after tapping an object once to open the context menu, tapping the “…” button causes the extended menu to appear and then automatically disappear within half a second. 2. Eraser tool incorrectly remembered as the last-used tool When the Eraser tool is set to “automatically switch back to the previous tool,” it correctly switches back after erasing (to pen, highlighter, or pencil). However, if I then use another tool (e.g., Lasso or Text tool) and tap back to the pen tool, the app mistakenly selects the Eraser tool instead of the last-used writing tool. 3. Other tools automatically reverting to Lasso tool For tools other than the pen (such as the Lasso or Text tool), the app automatically switches back to the Lasso tool after use, preventing continuous use of the selected tool. Each time, I have to tap the tool again to continue using it. Please look into these issues when possible. I have been using this app for a year and I loved it! It recently got updated and now it’s lagging with my typing (I have to wait for my sentences to be completed in order for me to move onto a new thing which is super annoying, especially when it takes just under a minute). If you change the format while you’re working to underlined or bold and you finish a sentence and then unselect to go back to unbolded and not underlined it is still bolding and underlining. You can highlight the entire text at the end and change the format, but it’s so annoying to do it that way, especially because it used to not be like that. Same with pressing enter and dash it creates a point, before if you just wanted to delete it but stay in the same line it was possible, now it brings you back to the previous line, which once again is annoying especially if the previous line is in a different format. Please fix it so that it’s the way it used to be before, I’m strongly considering a new app because of this, which is very disappointing…

Honestly this was the best note taking app, really clear and easy to use, you could draw straight lines, enjoy consistent line spacing and tap and move things intuitively. Now I can’t draw a straight line (it just bends it like you’re drawing a flowchart), line spacing resets itself every time I add a new text box so nothing lines up with paper unless you edit it manually and it defaults back to the lasso tool constantly meaning if you want to add 2 elements you have to tap everything again, even pasting is more complicated now and sometimes doesn’t even work! Genuinely considering ending my subscription, I’d pay up just to get Goodnotes 6 back but 7 is dire! 6 had its flaws (why does a note taking app in 2025 not have the ability to add a table?) but now I can’t even get it to create the straight lines for a table without it trying to make it a flowchart. It’s driving me up the wall so instead of studying I’ve been trying to find another app to use so I can draw a simple graph in my notes. I cannot put up with how awful the update is, the whole experience now feels like when you move an image in Word and it screws your whole document up. TL;DR it’s an awful app right now, don’t bother downloading or paying for this until they fix how broken it is or they roll back to 6, the blind rush for AI everything has destroyed the app entirely and this is coming from someone doing a masters degree in AI.

This is the first time I’m writing a review with less than 4 stars. I’ve paid for Goodnotes 5 years ago and everything was running smoothly, it’s worth the money and I’ve recommended this App to a bunch of colleagues- until last week when i was forced to download Goodnotes 6 and have to pay for it after a week’s trial- fine. I’ve paid for it six years ago and I don’t mind paying the developers again, if you are able to provide me with the same, if not higher quality of Goodnotes. I’m someone who’s willing to pay for better service, not to mention that I’ve been using Goodnotes for six years and I’m used to it. Goodnotes 6 doesn’t even have to be better, YOU JUST HAVE TO MAINTAIN THE OLD QUALITY. But you failed. :) Not even 48 hours into the trial period and you’ve crashed and lagged and failed to load more than 10 times. Bravo Goodnotes. Now I know why you provide trial periods- to stop customers from buying your service. I’m writing this in the middle of the night after another failed attempt to download my lecture notes. You’re the first App I’m giving a one-star-review. And you know how much it costs to spend 15 minutes to write this review a week before my final exams. You’re the most welcome.

i deeply regret spending over RM200 on GoodNotes because this app is an absolute disaster. The number of glitches I’ve encountered is beyond frustrating, and it’s shocking that such an expensive app performs this terribly. The worst issue I’ve faced happened when I tried resizing my notes. Instead of simply resizing, the app duplicated them—leaving both the original and the resized versions overlapping each other on the same page. Now my notes are completely unreadable, and I have no choice but to redo all my hard work from scratch. This isn’t a minor inconvenience—it’s a complete failure of basic functionality. An app designed for note-taking should never corrupt notes like this. How is it possible that after paying such a ridiculous amount, I’m dealing with something this broken? I expected a premium experience, but what I got instead was an unreliable, glitchy mess. If you’re considering buying this app, don’t. It’s not worth the money, the time, or the frustration. The developers need to fix these issues immediately or stop charging such an outrageous price for something this defective.

Paid for the full version of GN5, and now I can’t edit my documents anymore or create a new one without a subscription… Bye bye Goodnotes

I paid for the full version of Goodnotes 5 (the full €9,99) and now you’ve updated the app and I have to pay for a subscription as well? I have also lost all of my notes. Incredibly nasty move from Goodnotes

I've been using Goodnotes 6 extensively for my medical note-taking and have encountered a recurring issue with the autocorrect feature. It appears that the AI is not recognizing medical terminology correctly, often autocorrecting terms that are already spelled correctly. This leads me to believe that the AI might not be integrated with a comprehensive medical dictionary. Moreover, the persistence of the autocorrect feature, without an option to disable it permanently, disrupts the note-taking process and could potentially introduce errors, which is particularly concerning in a medical context. Would it be possible to consider the following enhancements? 1. Integration of a medical dictionary to improve the AI's recognition of technical terminology. 2. A feature to permanently disable autocorrect for those of us who frequently use specialized vocabularies. These improvements could significantly enhance the user experience for professionals in the medical field and any other users dealing with specialized terminologies.

I have been using Goodnotes for more than 4 years. The reason why I chose it instead of other note taking app is because of the clear folder system and simplifity the app gave to me. I like the app very much. However, there are some issues lasted for a long long time that Goodnote still not yet fixed. For example, I am pleased that Goodnote finally has the voice recording function. But then, the user experience is not as smooth as I thought it should be. Even entering the new era of Goodnote 6, we still can't rename the audio. It often retracts to the beginning when I try to drag the timeline. Ok! then i use the forward 10s function, but the problem getting even worse. It become irresponsive. I have no choice but have to restart the app. Besides, sometimes, my hand written word disappeared when I play the audio which made me hard to follow and felt annoyed. More importantly, it also freeze during playback. That is crazy. I hope these problem can be fixed soon. For example, please allow us to click on the word for directly the audio so that it will be more intuitive to use. Coming to Goodnote 6, I paid once again with a high expectation. I don't think the new features such as AI math calculation worth the money I spend. Instead, please spend more time on bug fixing and system optimization. An app known to great only when it can provide a seamless and smooth user experience but not some fancy function. Those are just a bonus.

I’ve been using GoodNotes for nearly 4 years now and I loved it. I payed the €13 originally and it gave me everything I needed for college. Goodnotes is the reason I bought an iPad and i used it for college every day. Fast forward to now and they have locked their paying customers behind another paywall allowing them to only access 3 notebooks and have the rest of them read only. 3 notebooks?!??! And now it’s telling me to upgrade so I can get unlimited notebooks. As an original customer who bought the app, I shouldn’t have to pay double of what I paid originally for the same thing. I know you have all these fancy features now but if oriole want the extra features, make them at for the features not the notebooks!! I have way more to say but would prefer to talk to someone about it than in a review as I am too aggravated about this. Goodnotes should be ashamed of themselves.

Have been using Goodnotes 5 for three years with no major issues except occasional random lines appearing when writing. But what’s even worse is that the pdfs are glitching and lagging so much a month after updating to goodnotes 6. The pdf automatically jumped to the very first pages or went frozen when I would just like scroll one page up. Have been trying everything by spending ages deleting my old files and emptying the trash bin, updating my ipad ios and goodnotes 6 itself, restarting my ipad, ensuring my pdfs file size are not too large, following every steps on what to do when glitches happen written on the goodnotes official website etc.. Nothing improves and the app continues to glitch. Instead of only telling the users what to do, blaming your clients’ pdf size being too large or blaming it’s the problem with apple itself, goodnotes could you please also reflect on improving the performance of your app? It is unacceptable to ask your clients to do something about it when it is your responsibility to provide us with the smooth user experience. Almost every thing went so smoothly with this app during my two years of A-Levels and my first year of medical school, but this year the app’s performance has just been intolerable. My ipad model is not even that old, its an ipad pro 12.9’ 2020.

自分は6を購入していないため、6についての機能・バグについては分からない。 ただ、自分は5の有料版を使っていて現状の機能にも満足していたため、6を購入しなかった。(そもそも、5で料金はらってるのに6でまた料金を満額請求されるのは不満があった。) しかし、最近になって、iCloudで同期したければ6にアップデートしろというメッセージが出てきた。こっちは5に金払ってんだよ!!基本機能は使わせろよ！と非常に腹立たしくなった。 1番のお気に入りアプリだったので非常に残念。。

Don't upgrade. I upgraded to Goodnotes 6 , and Now I can't get my mac to sign in at all despite using the same sign in credentials. I can't believe I dished out more money for this, and lost all functionality. I'm considering contacting VISA to get my money back. Just despicable. Clearly this release was very rushed, and they didn't care that it wasn't going to work. There's no way to get help with it, either, no support.

I was a goodnotes user for 2 years, I paid 20$ for the app a couple years ago and was prompted to update. Upon updating the app I was completely locked out of my notes and told i had to pay another 30$ to keep using the app. I feel like i'm being blackmailed to access my own work. Never trust these apps. I'm in the middle of midterms and can't continue to write notes until i pay these frauds more money. you guys have small pp's.

Goodnote5購入済みであるが、誤って6にアップグレードしてしまったところ、ダウングレードできなくなった。 ダウングレード可能と説明にには書いてあるものの、そのようなメニューはない。 早くバグを修正して頂きたいです。 もう1つ。 App StoreのAppサポートも遷移先でエラーとなり問い合わせも不能です。 ------ サポートも無視され、いつまで経ってもバグ修正もなし、返金対応もなしなので、このふざけたベンダーのソフトは二度と使いません。このベンダーのソフトは購入してもサポートは受けられないので気をつけてください。

I bought goodnotes for my ipad when I started university 3 years ago. I chose it because it was the best for my uses and my friends recommended it and I'm glad I did. I paid just under £10 for the most useful app in terms of using my apple pencil to put my solutions to math equations. I orginally rated it 5/5. This has been improved with goodnotes v6, the math and AI elements have come in and do help to meet my needs in these circumstances. However, given I paid for this app in the first place, and put up with it's flaws (there were some tedious processes, cutting and pasting across pages being buggy, resizing issues, template cropping, and they still haven't quite workout out a way to convert handwriting to text that does involve multiple clicks and a weird copy-paste-resize and erase method) but I am most offended to open this and be asekd to pay a monthly pricing model for their improvements, or another one-off fee (which is oxymoronic at the least) to access the simple improvements, and the trial hinders my use of the existing functionality. If you can't make improvements to the existing software such that new users can be attracted and draw income and share them with people who paid for your software, especially students like me who can't afford to drop money repeatedly to have useful features, then just fix the bugs. I hope this issue resolves, because for the helpfulness of the app in the past, I don't want to leave this app with such a negative review in the future.

Why i have to pay for you again. It doesn't make sense

Backing up the other negative reviews of GN6 and the additional fee, I am incredibly disappointed in this company. You're making users pay 3x more for an app they've ALREADY PURCHASED. Many of the updates are simple things (ie. folder colours) that users have been asking for over years. Also disappointing to see an encouragement in using AI for academics. I have loved and used this app through university, but this feels like a slap in the face. Will not be upgrading and possibly moving to different apps. Shame.

NO BULLET POINT CAPIBILITY – WHAT ARE YOU AS APP DESIGNERS DOING?!?! – A notetaking app is supposed to make it easier to create notes (including typing them) and not make it more difficult and time consuming. I’m literally contemplating calling Apple tomorrow and requesting a refund for this app. I can’t even type notes without the ability to add billet points or spend an absurd amount of time manually adding them in (which is also extremely annoying). Not only is this annoying for the users of the app when typing, but it is hindering the success of this app. I’m sure that it’s safe to assume that EVERY other notetaking app has this feature. It seems as though that many people choose between this app and Noteability. This is a great app and stands out in many aspects and appears to be a good notetaking app (specially the folder organization). This is why even though I already purchased Noteability, I bought GoodNotes planning on switching apps because of the many wonderful things that GoodNotes has to offer. I was very excited to be using this app, but apparently, I was wrong. Within 5 minutes of use I realized that its essentially useless to type notes on as a result of not being able to organize my notes wih bulletins when typing. The ability to make bullet points and sub-bullets is a fundamental feature of taking notes. So I guess I will continue to use Noteability as the point of having an iPad and MacBook is because of the ability to flawlessly be able to switch between the two and when using my MacBook, I obviously will be typing notes. Are you guys trying to have a lower revenue by having customers choose competitor apps instead of GoodNotes? I’m sure that by adding this one feature you would have a lot more business, as this is something that people REQUIRE in a notetaking app (especially for university students). I am extremely disappointed that this app does not have a feature to add bulletin points. This is not something even think to look into when researching the app as it is such a basic feature and is unheard-of and obscure for a notetaking app to not have. How does a notetaking app does not have this basic capability? especially when advertising to students? it is a headache and is extremely time consuming. This is extremely annoying and makes it difficult to organize notes for my university classes! There ABSOLUTLY SHOULD be a feature for you to add a bullet and to make sub bullets. Instead, I have to type "-" and when making sub bullets press the tab a bunch for the next line then add in the dash. This is so unnecessarily time consuming. I’m sitting there having to pause my recorded lectures just trying to add bullet points into my note. I understand that this app is more directed towards iPads, however, most iPad users (including myself) also have a MacBook because of the easy capability to switch between the two devices. And some classes are easier to type notes when they are word-heavy where you need to write a lot, especially since tying is factor. These same are also classes where you NEED the ability to have bulletins so that your notes are not a DISASTER (and the inability to do this on this app is a DISASTER on your part). I don’t design apps, but id assume that this is such a simple feature to add. When I was trying to figure out how to do this, I came across MANY posts and comments of others who are also complaining about this and for YEARS. Thus, this is not the first time this is brought to the attention of the app developers and is very evidently a MAJOR problem with the app that greatly affects the apps useability. So, you guys either do not read your reviews, don’t care about creating a more friendly user experience, incompetent at designing a notetaking app or are stupid... I am sorry for being rude here, but I’m astonished that such a well-rated and popular app lacks such a curtail and basic feature. And if despite the demand for it, you still think that this is something that you don’t need to add, at least indicate that on the main page of the app. I would say that its almost false advertising by saying that this is a notetaking app but doesn’t even have bullet points. Or do not offer it in the app store for MacBook’s and only offer it for iPads. Because I’m certain that pretty much anyone wishing to type their notes would want this capability. I would probably have given this app a five-star review, but only have two stars because it is absolutely ridiculous that this is not a function. PLEASE JUST ADD BULLET POINTS for your sake as you will have more satisfied customers and for the sanity of students trying to type their notes. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! I’m literally begging you.

the whole app is build for an iPad. I believe that it would be a lovely app for your iPad, but I wanted to use it on my macbook. In de appstore and online I got the feeling that this was perfectly possible. Buying this app told me otherwise: don't buy this for your macbook. Use microsofts' oneNote, Word, Keynote or Pages, to my experience.

Good app but be careful at spending your money unless you have alot to spare; because it might just become free. Buyers beware! Been a loyal user from previous iphone & ipad versions. Bought the MacOS app when it first came out and was promised updates. The UX & UI was underwhelming and lacked most functionality to be deemed useable with major syncing and functionality issues. The said updates never came then the paid legacy version came out with GoodNotes 5. .Felt cheated then for buying the first MacOS version. Now feel cheated AGAIN, when after paying AGAIN it is now free for all users. Quite upset at this... Makes me think twice about actually paying for Goodnotes 6 when/if it comes out because-"I might get cheated AGAIN". Fool me once-shame on you, fool me twice-shame on me..." BUYERS BEWARE. They might just bring updates only to the next paid Goodnotes 6 and make you pay again and console you by giving you a discount then it might suddenly become free. Goodnotes you've made me a loyal user to an angry one.

I bought this APP both Mac and iOS versions since it was released. It’s very important to know that this APP is not reliable to be applied in work environment. Don’t use this APP in your presentation. You’re warned. There have been a lot of glitches throughout the APP’s history, for example adding pictures and typing. If you are a bilingual user, there is an unsolved auto-underlining glitch, which the developer just simply ignored to notice. During these current three versions, there have been typing glitches. That caused APP crashes. If you are using it on keeping notes of your study or daily life without worrying constant crashes, it is a great APP to use with great functions. The app is great, but I bought the MAC version on April 4 and today when I tried to download free to my Ipad, according to the support that - "After confirming, you will see a message that the download is free because you already bought the app", I was charged. I tried to talk directly with the company but I couldn't find another way.

Trovo l’applicazione davvero ottima, ben fatta e davvero utile. Ma c’è una cosa davvero insopportabile che la rende al limite dell’inutilizzabile: questa è un applicazione per scrivere, ma l’editor scrittura è imbarazzante. Dovrebbe essere pensato più come un documento in cui man mano che scrivo il testo progredisce e cambia pagina. E INVECE NO. Devi creare singoli blocchi di testo per OGNI SINGOLA PAGINA. Con la conseguenza che se devi modificare qualcosa del testo lo devi fare per ogni singola pagina, e se devi ingrandire il testo si sballa, non ci sta nella pagina allora sistema, spostando il tutto nelle pagine successive, e così via. E’ una cosa cos’ stupida per un applicazione che serve per prendere punti che manco impegnandomi riuscivo a pensare una stronzata tale. Spero veramente che la risolvano, altrimenti è abbastanza inutile per prendere appunti, am diventa solo un posto in cui sottolineare o prendere appunti su appunti presi in precedenza con un’altra app. UPDATE un’altra cosa che mi sono accorta essere davvero irritante è il fatto che non sia possibile chiudere il documento in uso. mi spiego, puoi tornare indietro, aprirne un altro ma il documento precedente è rimasto aperto. Se hai due documenti puoi chiuderne solo uno dei due e l’altro rimane aperto. e la cosa è davvero molto scomoda quando devo aprire e chiudere diversi file perché significa che una volta chiuso un file invece di tornare alla schermata, passa all’altro documento aperto, e così via.

App intuitiva, semplice da usare e molto utile come dispensa di appunti o note varie ma con alcuni difetti: - Alle volte diminuisce lo spazio tra le righe di una parte di un testo. Non essendoci la funzione per impostare lo spazio tra le righe non c’è modo di reimpostarlo in modo da avere un testo omogeneo, è la cosa più fastidiosa che mi ha suggerito di scrivere questa recensione; - La geometria talvolta lascia a desiderare nel creare le forme e i sistemi di disegno sono scarsi (manca la funzione di riempimento di spazi con un colore e diverse altre modalità utili); - Una volta che si incomincia a scrivere, se per caso si volesse cambiare il testo in grassetto o renderlo di un altro colore, dopo la prima modifica non rende più possibile modificare nuovamente il testo. Inoltre possono essere implementate numerose funzioni utili, ad esempio quella di scrivere una pagina senza stare a creare sempre dei riquadri che possono essere spostati ma semplicemente “scrivendo la pagina”, come su word per intenderci, e quella di ampliare la gamma di modifiche che possono essere applicate ad un testo (spazio tra le righe, inserimento di colonne, ecc.)

No multiple documents can be imported directly. We need to import all documents one by one instead of importing as a bundle of documents. Goodnotes 4 is far more better than this version. Please refund. There is a bug. Please fix it. While importing, I dragged and dropped a pdf file and then clicked the cancel at the upper right corner. The file was then put into the folder. When I did the same thing again for another file, the original folder was suddenly emptied. I then clicked another cloud. The same folder was shown with nothing. This is weird. This meant the original folder was hanging and frozen in the same spot. I finally figured out there was a way to import multiple documents at the same time but it turned out that if I imported more than 5 pdfs at the same time, only few of them were imported. In my case, I imported 16 pdfs. But only 4 pdfs were imported. If I lowered the number of pdfs imported, for example, 6 pdfs, 4 of them were imported and two pdfs couldn’t be imported. The middle two pdfs were missing and I needed to do the importing those 2 missing pdfs again.

Zonde van die ene € Ook de onderlinge synchronisatie tussen beide versies is droevig, GEWOON ONMOGELIJK. Tot moment dat alternatief gevonden en uitgetest is GoodNotes 4 gebruiken. We volgen de ontwikkelingen rondom GoodNotes 5 en hopen dat jullie terugkeren vanuit jullie nu gekozen pad. 28 april Maanden later, weer getest, blijft rubish.... zo jammer dan belangrijke functie suit GN4 niet aanwezig zijn.

지금까지 약 4년간 굿노트를 사용했습니다. 저는 공과대학이라 기호를 쓸 일이 많은데 업데이트된 이후 i를 쓸때마다 위에 점이 생략되고 ㅣ만 써져서 너무 불편합니다. 또한 곱하기를 할때 .으로 표시하는데 이것도 매번 없어져서 점을 오래찍거나 강하게 밀면서 찍어야해서 너무 불편해요. 점을 의도해서 찍은건데 자꾸 사라지니까 다시 써야하고 빠르게 작성해도 사라지는게 불편해요. 참다참다 도저히 못참겟어서 리뷰남깁니다. 얼른 고쳐주세요 아님 선택할수있게 만들어주시던지요. 내친김에 레이저도 여러색깔 있으면 좋겠어요

Always changing the formatting and after upgrading IPAD to 26.2, configuration issue appears, in choosing the fonts, the screen only shows Caption, heading 3 and 4, the heading 1 and 2 absent. I have to switch off the iPad to get back heading 1 and 2, or sometimes need to get out of the current folder or page in order to get back the heading. Last time update of Goodnotes also makes the lives much harder. Not as user friendly as before. When I type, has to press hard to get a writing box out, and I switch to drawing, i need to press the drawing button again, the times of switching is frequent for note-jotting, but the restrictions made lives very hard for us. Besides, if after typing in the box, I need to press again the page to ensure the box disappear, if not, the whole passage I typed will disappear. This is the most frustrating thing I come across, as at the beginning I was not aware of this, and many items were gone because of not remove the box frame after typing.

身為重度使用者大部分都挺滿意的唯一不太喜歡的功能就是貼圖片的時候調整大小會置中這會導致圖片很難拉到一樣的大小，理論上應該要把左上角固定住，然後用右下角來拉大小這樣才有辦法利用下面筆記的格線把圖片拉成一樣的大小

일단 제일 심각한 건 렉이 너무 자주 걸림 한페이지 분량도 아니고 a4용지 1/4분량의 글을 복사하고 다른 곳에 옮기는데 옮기려고 하는 그 다른 곳에서 갑자기 혼자서 계속계속 붙여놓기 됨. 그래서 결국 혼자서 너무 많이 복붙되면 렉걸려서 앱 먹통됨. 또 글 쓰고 테이프 기능으로 글 덮으려고 하면 테이프 위로 몇몇 글자들이 튀어나와서 테이프의 기능이 사라짐. 그리고 이건 진짜 고쳐져야하는데 글씨 쓰고 지웠다가 다시 복구하기 화살표 누르면 복구가 안됨 뒤로가기 화살표는 잘만 작동하는데 복구하기 화살표는 그냥 먹통임 그리고 가끔 새 노트 만드려고 +창 누르면 아무것도 안눌렀는데 혼자서 이상한 페이지를 새로 생성함. 이렇게 적고 보니까 렉 진짜 많네 업뎃 되기 전엔 거의 정상적으로 작동했는데 괜히 업데이트를 해서 있던 장점마저 사라져버림

Hey! i have been using goodnotes for a year now and its been great… or should i say it used to be great? goodnotes 6 was amazing, but these ui changes you have made in goodnotes 7 are just awful. why is the eraser moved further away? i cant find any settings now and everything is messed up. the floating toolbar is just stupid, it worsens visibility and serves no purpose. you might argue that it makes the toolbar movable now and thats great, but to make the toolbar movable you dont have to make it floating. at least there needs to be a toggle. and this leads to my main point, if you want to change the ui you can, but let us users customize it the way we want. and i guarrantee that most of us will make it how it was in gn 6/5 because the ui back then was amazing. at this point devs are just being anti consumer, this ui is terrible. the app glitches way more often now especially while making shapes. also where the hell did you guys hide the snap to shape toggle? i cant find it anywhere. and the app keeps giving me ads of its ai features, let me make it clear that absolutely no one use the ai features of goodnotes. they are useless and gimmicky. please bring back gn6 ui

펜으로 원래 직선 그린 후 꾹누르면 깔끔하게 됐는데 지금은 자꾸 꺽여서 너무 불편해요 그리고 자꾸 글씨쓰면 빨간 동그라미 점 세개는 왜 같이 뜰까요? 어느 때 생기는지도 모르겠고 읽기모드할때만 없어지고 쓰기모드때는 계속있으니까 엄청 신경쓰여요. 4만원 주고 결제했는데 업데이트 후에 너무 불편하네요 그리고 이건 예전부터인데 텍스트 박스로 작성 시 자꾸 볼드체가 꺼지는 점과 폰트 크기 줄이기가 너무 불편해요. 한 페이지를 너무 오래 켜두거나 많은 페이지를 많이 켜 놓으면 필기할때 자꾸 버벅거려서 창을 껐다 켜야해요. 아니 그리고 이거 포스트잇 위에 글씨쓰면 왜 자꾸 사라져요? 필기가 안되는데 이거 빨리 고쳐주세요!!! 아니 이제는 테이프기능 사용할때도 밑에 쓴 글씨 획이 위로 드러나네요….아니 좀 나아졌나 싶더니 렉이 왜이렇게 심해졌죠? 원래도 창 많이 띄우면 심해서 껐다 켜서 나아졌는데 지금은 그것도 안되네요

굿노트 6로 돈냈는데 텍스트 많이 쓰면 렉 먹는 것도 너무 심하고 자기 혼자 기본값 설정 안한 걸로 돌아가고 무엇보다 앱 시행 중 혼자서 로딩하면서 렉 먹더니 강제 종료해야 겨우 되는 경우가 왜이렇게 많나요? 또한 사용하다 보면 갑자기 화질 떨어져서 블러 형태로 보이는 경우도 너무 많습니다. 돈 내고 이렇게 최악의 앱을 사용해야 된다니 너무 화가 나네요. 진짜 최악이에요. 말한 내용 다 반영해서 업데이트 수정을 해주시던지, 환불해주세요 5버젼으로 돌아가고 싶습니다.

애플펜슬보다 손인식이 더 잘돼서 글쓰다가도 갑자시 가로 직선 줄 쫙그어지고 패드 가로기준 아래쪽에 필기 하려하며 자꾸 백돼서 글씨 자꾸 날아감. 그리고 보통 연필 모드로 필기하고 필기 다한거 pdf로 변환해서 공유 해놓으면 안에 내용에 글씨 다 날아가서 지워져있어서 안보임. 캡쳐해서 이미지로 다시 템플릿불러오고 다시 pdf로 변환해서 공유해야하는 진짜 쓸모없고 시간낭비해야함. 그리고 펜모드 변경하는거 움직일 수 있게 업뎃한건 좋은데 동서남북 가운데로 고정이라 너무 불편함 자유롭게 위치 가능하게 혹은 각 모서리 구석으로 옮길수 있게 하면 좋겠음. 그리고 일반 볼펜 모드에 가로로 스스슥하면 지워지게하는거 끄고키는 버튼이 있어야한다고 생각함 원하지 않는데 자꾸 지워지는 것도 스트레스 받음. 그리고 볼펜모드 안에 만년필 화필 등등 있듯이 볼펜모드안에서 연필이랑 그런것들 같이 넣어서 펜슬 종류선택했으면 좋겠음. 연필도 점선이나 필기 보조 도구등 똑같이 사용가능하게 하는게 좋을거같음. 무료로 사용하는것도 아니고 돈내고 사용중인데 건의 사항 요구사항은 몰라도 버그 오류들은 좀 고쳐줍시다

그래프 그리는 일이 많은데 곡선만 그리면 왜 자동으로 자꾸 원이 되나요? 그리고 도형 그리고 그 주변에 표시했다가 지우면 도형이 같이 지워지고요, 이전 버튼 눌러도 도형이 증발한건지 아예 사라집니다. 1년동안 결제하면서 굿노트만 썼는데 참다참다 필기하다 너무 괴로워서 리뷰 남겨요. 앱 사용하면서 별점은 물론 리뷰 처음 남겨봅니다. 제발 이전버전처럼 한 번 사면 그 버전이 계속 유지되도록 해주시면 안될까요? 아니면 이런 오류들 좀 꼼꼼히 검수 부탁드려요.. 제발요 ㅜㅜ

굿노트 정말 잘 활용하고있는 고딩입니다. 시간활용을 위해 손글씨보다는 타이핑(텍스트상자)을 주로 사용하고 있는데, 최근 업그레이드로인해 불편해진 점이 있어서 수정을 부탁드립니다. 1. 기존의 타이핑모드를 다시 추가해주시면 좋겠습니다. 이번에 새로나온 텍스트문서도 좋지만,, 텍스트와 손글씨를 병행하고 다양한 속지에서 타이핑이 절대적으로 필요하므로 기존의 타이핑 모드를 부활시켜주면 좋겠습니다. 2. 이건 진짜 너무너무 필요한데요.. 제발 텍스트 행간을 소수점으로 할수있게 해주시면 좋겠습니다. 기존에는 소수점으로도 설정이 되어서 모든 문서에서 행간이 맞았는데 지금 갑자기 자연수로 바뀌어서 너무 불편합니다ㅜㅜㅜ 3. 텍스트 상자에서 글꼴의 기본값을 미리 추가시켜두면 좋겠습니다. 지금은 한개의 기본값만 사용이 되어서 불편합니다. 4. 이번에 새로나온 텍스트 문서에서 글꼴의 변환이 되었으면 좋겠습니다. 기본 글꼴이 아니라 자신이 원하는 글꼴을 선택할 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 5. 타이핑 하다가 modern글꼴로 돌아가는 오류 등 여러 오류와 버그를 수정해주시면 좋겠습니다. 모든 필기와 공부를 굿노트로 할만큼 많이 도움을 받고 있습니다. 몇몇의 오류나 수정만 있으면 계속 사용할 것 같습니다. 제발 1, 2번 이라도 수정 부탁드립니다..

I was hesitant to use a device for taking notes at first, but after only using good notes for two weeks now, I will never go back to the traditional pen and paper. As I study engineering in uni, I need a very versatile and organised system that can keep up with the constantly changing topics and Goodnotes has never let me down; from quick little notes, never ending math questions, to even complicated graphs and 3d sketches; Goodnotes never struggled to deliver what I needed. I honestly think the small price is beyond value for money.

이건 뭐 지금까지 굿노트 업데이트 중 제일 구리다는 말을 안 할 수가 없음 평소에 속지에 타이핑 하는 식으로 썼는데 텍스트 사용이 이렇게까지 창의적으로 퇴화할 수 있다는 사실에 놀람 기본값 저장 없는 것부터 해서 텍스트를 쓸 때마다 편집하고 수정하고 폰트 설정해도 기본값 없으니까 다시 시스템 폰트로 바뀌고 쓰면서 편해야 하는데 세상에서 제일 불편해짐 시험기간에 시험이 아니라 얘 때문에 스트레스 받을 거 같음 뱁새가 황새 쫓다가 가랑이가 아니라 그냥 몸이 반갈죽 났음 걍 계속 우쭈쭈 하니까 선 개 넘음을 느꼈다 적당히 해야지 돈도 받으면서 이꼬라지니까 더 짜증나네 새로운 거 주구장창 들어와도 쓰는 사람들은 기존 거에 만족하니까 결제 하는 건데 기존에 있는 게 이렇게 구려버리면 누가 남음? 우선 난 아님 ㅅㄱ

This app is good and bad at the same time. It’s good just because it’s Goodnotes that we all love, with all the features and handy interface, that is way better than in other apps. Also I love that it’s constantly evolving and developers add new features. Also I love that there’s an app for my iPhone, iPad and Mac, so I can access my notes from every devices. One time subscription is another good thing, considering that every year the annual subscription price goes up. Now to the bad things. The app has so many nasty bugs, that can spoil my mood straight away. It just looks like developers are not using their app and not trying all the features implemented. And I tried to email them with the bugs. Got no response. So the worst one is the text tool. It’s the nastiest text tool I’ve ever met. I’m doing a lot of lecture notes in uni and when I copy/paste text it formats the way the Universe wants. Also, you can only scale the pasted text box only in width, so if you want that text to fit in your page you have to play with the width, as well as with the font size. Nasty… Also when I use drag and drop on my iPad it pastes text or pictures twice. It’s also very annoying, because I have to delete one of those pastes every time. Also it looks like developers didn’t test the app on iPad in Stage Manager mode, because sometimes the written with Apple Pencil text or other content just disappears. Though it’s still there, it’s just not displayed. So, overall it’s a good app, but I hate the way developers do the bug inspection. That’s why only 3 stars for now. Goodnotes 6 is not about stability for now.

I needed a new laptop for my masters, but decided to get an iPad with a keyboard for reading textbooks on the go. With Goodnotes, you can pull all your textbooks and research articles in, highlight and annotate, copy, paste, multiscreen to take notes as you read, and lots of other things. Even little things like being able to bookmark pages is helpful. The best thing though, is that it recognises the words you are writing as text, can correct spelling in your own handwriting, and you can then search your 100+ pages of notes for specific words you have written. The AI can also generate test questions on your notes. It could be improved if it had a read aloud option like Perlego so I can listen and read at the same time. There is a way around it by highlighting text and then selecting read aloud, but sometimes formatting gets in the way, and you can’t change the speed etc. Also, when you plug an external screen in, it won’t let you see seperate things on either screen, the app decides to take over both screens, kind of defeating the purpose. Further, the option to create a space beside an article in one tab would allow more space for notes attached to the article, rather than two seperate documents, if that makes sense. Overall, I’d recommend an iPad and Goodnotes to most people who do lots of reading and writing and can’t carry thousands of pages of notebooks and textbooks with you!

I have been using Goodnotes for several months now to take notes for my course and most of the time it works perfectly fine but I do come across bugs every single day when using the app. Many times when I open the app to resume where I left off I come across a blank screen which doesn’t change so I close the app and open it again where it will either work again and I can see my notes or I have to close the app again one, two, or even up to three times where it closes everything that I had open so I find myself having to open all the notebooks again and finding my way to where I was. Also, whenever I underline anything it suggests a spellcheck which if you press it messes up all your writing and replaces what you wrote with some random unreadable gibberish. Also a few times perfectly written words are considered incorrect and are given a spellcheck suggestion and if you correct it using spellcheck it also changes the word to unreadable gibberish. All in all the app is functional, most of the time it works but these bugs are very irritating when they happen and that is every day. Edit: I also use a Pencil Pro and a few times the double tap on the pencil to change from pen to eraser stops working completely as well as the actual pen, but when I try it on apple notes it works completely fine. Edit #2: The bug where the screen goes blank or freezes and closes all the open documents when you reopen it has been fixed and I’ve not had any further issues regarding that matter.

I love Goodnotes and have used it for around a year now, the organisation of notebooks, the pen settings, the colours and page templates are all really good. My only issues are: 1. often I have this glitch in which when I lasso some of my writing (handwriting with the pen), when I move it to another place, one letter/stroke will duplicate, having one in the previous position and one in the place that I moved it to. If I try to erase the one in the previous position, it doesn’t erase, and if I try to erase the one in the new position it erases but the one in the previous position doesn’t. When the glitch first started occurring, if I closed the notebook and wait for it to sync, and then reopen it, the stroke/letter in the previous position would have disappeared (unless I wrote over it), however now even after waiting for the notebook to sync, the previous one is still there and erasing it does nothing. Recently it isn’t just one stroke that is duplicating, it is a whole diagram I have drawn or a paragraph, which is quite annoying. 2. Sometimes when I try to erase something it will erase for a second and then reappear, and I can’t erase it no matter what I do (lassoing and then clicking the bin doesn’t work either). This is similar to the other glitch however this occurs without me moving it or it duplicating itself. If these glitches could be fixed that would be great! They have caused me lots of issues and taken up lots of my class time trying to get my notes to work. Regardless of the issues, I would definitely recommend Goodnotes to friends as it is a great handwriting digital note taking app :)

I have been using GoodNotes since my college days, and as a law student, it has been an invaluable tool for reading cases and making notes. However, I often find that PDF documents have limited space for annotations, and adding a new page below is not always convenient for reviewing my remarks. I would love to see a feature that allows users to extend the page sideways, creating additional space for annotations next to each paragraph rather than at the bottom of the page. This would make it much easier to keep notes organized and contextually relevant. I love this app, it helps me to study! But, there are some things i'd like to see improved on it. I found that while working on some notes i'd get to the bottom of the page and when it would tell me to make a new page I would add one. However, there would be times when I'd add a new page in between already made notes (if by accident or just because i'd think i'd need the extra page), that when i'd delete the page (even if im currently selected on it), it would instead delete the ones with the already completed page of notes and I can't recover the page anymore, so i'd have to retype everything. There would also be times when the computer would add in already typed out words when it's trying to actively predict your word (e.g. I would type the word "paragraph" and while i'm typing out "paragr-" it would type out "paragrparagraph" or double the word "paragraph paragraph." I also noticed on the flashcards that you can only choose between text,picture, or written/drawing. sometimes my professor would have the pictures that are too big to capture with both the picture and questions in them. When trying to put pictures into the study cards I was disappointed knowing I can't really add in a text with the pictures that doesn't have questions such as putting "Find the amygdala in the picture". Aside from these hiccups that needs to be improved on, I think this app is a very good app.

Ich habe diese App gekauft und war schon immer mehr als zufrieden mit den Funktionen. Man kann so viel Unterordner machen, wie man möchte und das Layout kann nach Belieben gestaltet werden Von A3, gepunktet, schwarz in Querformat bis hin zu Karteikarten, hochkant, kariert mit gelblichem Papier ist alles dabei. Das macht nicht nur großen Spaß, um zum Beispiel Lernmaterialien anzulegen, sondern auch darüber hinaus allerhand private Notizen zu machen. So habe ich in Goodnotes schon bunte Charakterbögen für DnD angelegt oder meinen Capsul Wardrope mit Fotos geplant. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es kaum Grenzen in Goodnotes gibt. Den Anstoß für diese Rezension hat mir aber vor allem das neue Update gegeben. Es sind neue Tools und Stifte dazu gekommen, das Markieren/ Einkreisen von großen Texten über das Blatt hinaus funktioniert zuverlässiger und vor allem kann ich meine Handgeschriebenen Texte jetzt auch einfach markieren und dann Größe und Form des Textbereichs einfach verändern, indem ich den Bereich so ziehe, wie ich ihn haben will. Die einzelnen handgeschriebenen Worte werden dann in die Reihe gerückt, in der das Wort am besten ins Format passt. Abgesehen von einigen neuen Funktionen, die ich bisher noch nicht ausprobiert habe, wurden viele Sachen verbessert, über die ich mir vorher nicht mal Gedanken gemacht habe, doch ich merke Verbesserung dennoch deutlich. Vielen Dank für diese tolle App. Ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen 🎉👏🏼

I have loved using Goodnotes for years. However, the recent experience is rather unpleasant. After I changed my iPad into the 2024 iPad Pro M4, using Goodnotes often makes my iPad hot!!! (I have closed all the other apps.) What’s worse, my writing habit didn’t change but a lot of extra strokes appear on my word. The strokes that wouldn’t connect in the past is now connecting, which makes my writing look messy and ugly. The third problem is that it lags very often now. Sometimes it lags when my battery is a little bit low (under 50%, which I would consider “normal”). Sometimes it just lags for no reason and I have to wait 0.5 second for every stroke to appear or 0.5 second for every word to be erased on my screen. Very uncomfortable for my brain as well as my eyes. I hope you can fix these problems and make Goodnotes 6 the perfect app for the new iPad OS. Thank you!

I've been using Goodnotes for the past five years, and it has been an essential tool in my daily workflow. Ich hatte Good Notes 5 gekauft und hatte nach dem Erscheinen von Good Notes 6 immer häufiger Probleme mit der Vorgängerversion, daher hab ich mich zum Kauf von Good Notes 6 entschieden. Ich nutze die App zur Ablage all meiner Dokumente, als Kalender, (Reise-)Tagebuch, für Notizen und Listen. Good Notes ist super in der Handhabung, übersichtlich und strukturiert. Ein paar Dinge funktionieren jedoch nicht (mehr) so toll: 1. Es gibt häufig Probleme bei der iCloud-Synchronisierung. Manchmal lässt sich das durch ein Update beheben, aber leider nicht immer. 2. Das Schreiben mit dem Pencil ist nicht immer ganz flüssig, das war früher besser. Linien sind manchmal abgehackt, das Schreiben hin und wieder verzögert und manchmal werden aus Buchstaben oder Zahlen plötzlich gerade oder geschwungene Linien. 3. Das Menü ist seit dem letzten Update schlechter geworden. Es gibt keinen Zurück-Button mehr, somit muss ich, um ein Dokument zu verlassen, über den Home-Button ins Hauptmenü zurück. Generell wird man sehr häufig ins Hauptmenü zurück geschleudert (z.B. beim Importieren von neuen Dokumenten) und muss sich dann wieder in den benötigten Ordner durchklicken. 4. Generell finde ich es uncool, dass man auch bei Good Notes mit Gewalt das Abomodell durchdrücken will. Trotz meiner Kritikpunkte finde ich Good Notes in der Handhabung immer noch schöner als vergleichbare Apps, die Dokumente lassen sich problemlos exportieren und es ist eine meiner meistgenutzten Apps.

I am yet to find a notes app that does everything I want in one single app. I do find myself switching between apps from time to time just for a particular feature. However, I use GoodNotes far more than any of the others. In most respects it has exactly what I need when I am taking notes. Here are some things I would like to be able to make it even better: 1. I would really love to be able to have dated notes. So every time I start a new note, the date is automatically added. 2. I’d like better editing features for shapes. I can set a background colour but can’t edit the background colour. I can’t change any properties of a shape (except size) once I’ve drawn it. 3. This is a big one for me: – I’d like to have a grid to draw to. Sometimes in a note you need to do a quick sketch and you want it to be roughly to scale. I can do this with a ruler, but it’s complicated. 4. It would be great to have formatted text like unnumbered and numbered lists, indents, centred etc. 5. I absolutely love the feature which will correct misspellings in handwritten text and it does its best to match my writing style. I’d like to suggest extending this feature just to be able to correct my terrible handwriting. My writing is good enough for it to be able to recognise the word but it is not neat. It would be great to be able to highlight the text and say “tidy up handwriting’ or something like that. Sometimes I deliberately misspell words just so it will correct it for me and make it look better.

Hello! I have been using your app since 2 years. I have found some basic features that are lacking in the app. I would request you to give preference to those rather than AI features as it’ll take time for AI to get that efficient that it can significantly help us. Some of those features are: 1. 2 page view of pdfs. It gives us a feel that we’re reading a book. It helps in creating a visual memory of the document. 2. Text to voice feature. Even though Apple devices have an inbuilt feature, we need to select the text every time. Something like the feature offered by moon reader would be of great help. 3. Infinite page. As offered by one note. Sometimes the flowcharts or mindmaps need much more space than one page. 4. Hide the text through an opaque tape. It helps in revision of the notes. It can be made transparent through a touch. 5. If possible we should get an option to choose if we want eraser to come up on double tapping the pencil or a highlighter. Sometimes shifting between highlighter is needed than an eraser. Also sometimes we need to shift between 2 colours of highlighters or pens. Thanx.

I’m very finicky when it comes to note taking apps; if even one feature I feel I need is missing I try to find a different one that better encompasses my needs. For several years, GoodNotes has been the strongest contender by a large marking! I love the mixture of tools, how easy it is to customize the tools and notebooks (not to mention how pretty they are), and something like adding a new page is made so seamless and intuitive! This is an edited review because, since my last review, they actually added a feature I asked for that involved editing the tools in the toolbar for a more customizable experience. Thank you so much GoodNotes team for adding this!!! The only things I can think of for the developers to add is: 1) a “softness” slider for pen tools so handwriting comes out a little smoother, because I feel my writing on a paper is more often smoother and more legible than the direct translation onto a screen; and 2) a way to add integrated text boxes into a page format that tracks perfectly with the lines on the page (some notes are much better taken typed rather than handwritten, so it would be great to be able to do both with ease). GoodNotes team, you’re doing great! You’ve got a great app on your hands, you’ve already implemented features that fans have wanted, so please keep doing what you’re doing and keep adding features to make your app the best on the market!

I first discovered GoodNotes (4...?) while starting my undergraduate degree (since we received iPads)-- I can honestly say it has changed my life. Being able to take handwritten digital notes saved me so much time and frustration. I know many fellow students preferred typing annotations to pdf's on their computer, but I wanted to be able to maintain the handwritten mental connection to information that has been proven to be more effective-- while not having to carry around 800 colored pens/ highlighters/ notebooks in order to create notes or having to take the time to redo them all later with these supplies. I am now in medical/ graduate school and it is still the only notetaking app I will use. Our school again provided iPads for students with Notability-- it seems that students frequently have issues with their apps crashing, functionality suddenly changing for the worse, etc. I never have these problems! While I personally enjoy the infinite benefits and organization of GoodNotes (combination of ADHD and the massive amount of information I need to organize in a short time for school), I have also personally gotten many compliments on both new features and how my notes look in real/ a short amount of time with multiple people asking what app I use because they are considering switching. SO worth the cost. Cannot praise this enough. While there are always some bugs and updates that could be made, support has a great forum for tracking requests that you can vote on! <3

Allerdings fallen beim täglichen Gebrauch natürlich auch ein paar Dinge auf, die den Umgang mit der App noch erleichtern würden. Diese Rezension richtet sich dementsprechend eher an GoodNotes selbst und weniger an Nutzer bzw. alle die es es in Erwägung ziehen sich die App herunterzuladen, da gibt es eine große Empfehlung von mir! 1. Das Lasso-Tool: Es wäre super, wenn es neben den Funktionen kopieren, ausschneiden, etc. noch das Tool DUPLIZIEREN gäbe, das würde vieles erleichtern, anstatt immer kopieren und einsetzten zu müssen :) 2. Lernsets Ich verwende die Lernsets häufig als Karteikarten für Vokabeln und mir ist dabei folgendes aufgefallen: Es wäre schön, wenn man die einzelnen Karten verschiedenen Tags/Kategorien zuordnen könnte. So bspw. Unit 1/Unit 2/Numbers/etc., sodass diese auch separat gelernt werden können. Man könnte dann bspw nur die Zahlen wiederholen, ohne alle Vokabeln lernen zu müssen. Am besten wäre es, wenn man bevor man startet ankreuzen kann, welche Tags man lernen möchte. 3. iCloud-Synchronisierung Diesbezüglich sind mir und meinem Umfeld in letzter Zeit häufiger Fehlermeldungen aufgezeigt worden, obwohl das Gerät konstant mit dem WLAN verbunden und noch Speicherkapazität auf der iCloud vorhanden war. Ansonsten, super tolle App! Es wäre sehr schön, wenn ihr meine Verbesserungsvorschläge mit in die App aufnehmen bzw. verbessern könntet!

I use Goodnotes for 2 years and have easy and comfortable experience but upgraded to version 5 to 6 seem have a little bit problem. I mean using Goodnotes 6 1) typing: when I type and want to make the words larger, words become broken and can’t show in text box entirely. It can only show the lower part of the words. However, it can be fixed be changing pages or restart Goodnotes 2) can’t paste screen capture: Goodnotes 5 can paste screenshots in text box but now can’t. Even Goodnotes ask for the permission to paste the screenshots and I click allow or don’t allow, screenshot can’t paste The above situation is happen when I continue upload my notes to drive, I don’t know isn’t it have connection with those error, but hope it can help developers to correct the bugs

Hi, GoodNotes ist einfach genial. Ich nutze es seit 1,5 Jahren um meinen Unterricht vorzubereiten (inzwischen habe ich mein ganzes Unterrichtsmaterial, was sonst in Vielen Ordner zu Hause stand immer dabei), um Hausaufgaben der Schüler zu korrigieren und als Tafel im Unterricht. Da ist auch der Laserpointer, den es seit GN5 gibt super. Manchmal vermisse ich aber so ein paar Werkzeuge. Ich unterrichte Mathematik und da muss ich oft zeichnen, da fehlt mir die Möglichkeit eine gestrichelte oder gepunktete Linie auszuwählen und einfaches Konstruktionswerkzeug, z Bsp. das Simulieren eines Zirkels und Längenmessungen bei geraden Strichen (eventuell mit einem sichtbaren Lineal?, eine Art Geodreieck, um Winkel anzuzeichnen. Vielleicht könnten ihr da ja etwas weiterentwickeln. Auch meine Schüler nutzen diese App, aber zeichnen müssen sie immer noch auf Papier. Cool Ware auch eine „anklebbare“ farbige Notiz, so wie ein Postit, das man auf eine reale Seite klebt mit einer kleinen Notiz (zb AB überarbeiten). Auch wäre es cool es gäbe so etwas wie Abdeckkarten, mit denen man Ergebnisse vorübergehen abdeckt aber eben ohne dass sich beim Aufdecken darunter etwas verschiebt (im Moment füge ich da ein Foto ein) . Und was mir noch einfällt: eine Möglichkeit die Reihenfolge der „Ebenen“ zu verändern (also was überdeckt was, da muss man immer aufpassen, dass man es in der richtigen Reihenfolge einfügt). Vielleicht gibt es ja bald GoodNote6 mit vielen neuen Werkzeugen.

This app is the best note taking app out there. There are so many minute features that make life easy while using this app. However, I do feel that I need the following things for the GoodNotes experience to be perfect: 1) continuous or infinite sheet. I wish there were a toggle option available for that. My flow charts are exhausting and long, and I need them on one sheet. 2) Ruler. I know that straight lines automatically will snap in position, but sometimes I want to draw a 2cm line and it would be so much easier with a ruler. 3) Ability to insert some space between 2 lines. It happens all the time that we come across now information and it needs to be on the relevant section on the page. Inserting rows or space between lines would be awesome. Micro writing is not always enough 4) PASSWORD PROTECTION: I can’t insist enough in the importance of this. But I think, this feature would be possible only with a continuous sheet. You guys have already done a stellar job of creating this beautiful app, these additional features would make it even better.

I have been using goodnotes for a while and its an amazing app. Would highly recommend, especially for college students. Sometimes the "copy page" and "paste page" glitches and doesn't work but if you close and reopen its fine again. Only bug I've noticed. I want to share an idea and I hope that the developers see this. I would LOVE to see an eraser feature that only erases a specific colour and does not erase everything else. For example. A black and blue drawing where the lines are inter-twined. This eraser can be activated to only erase the colour blue, and erase all of the blue without removing any black or any other colour. Would be so helpful!!!

It’s my first time using an app like this and overall it’s going great but the following additions could be considered: -option to clear all annotations/notes on a document instead of having to clear each page one by one -an undo shortcut like a two finger tap on the screen similar to how it is on Procreate -another general view that doesn’t entail having to open each folder one by one to see what’s inside it -positioning the tool bar to the right or left of the screen as well -being able to zoom out of the document page instead of just the default full screen fit. updated review: i love you goodnotes but you seriously need to fix a few major issues. i tried to switch to notability but goodnotes is really great so i came back. the first issue is the huge amount of battery consumption. another one is that i keep having importing issues from google docs every single time since the first day i started using this app. i’ll always have to import every file one by one which is really annoying and time consuming since it will give me errors even then. a possible addition would be to have different ways to view the current document you are working on like in notability. i want to be able to have an option to view it with 2, 4, 6, pages in a single page, etc. another one would be to have a list view with a e homepage also like in notability. please fix these issues goodnotes!! you’re too good to give up.

Update since I couldn’t find a quick way to contact support. Support links only go to a support page with articles. The text field is too small for handwriting with Apple Pencil on the iPad. The text field is pretty small so it’s hard to resize, and when I do resize it and start writing, because it’s so short, I sometimes end up writing outside of the field causing the text field to disappear. This is especially an issue when writing kanji/hanzi with many strokes. I basically needed something to write on PDFs on iPad for studying Japanese. Even though I could use the Files app to organize PDFs and use markup to write on them, my experience using Apple Pencil in iPad OS’s built-in markup was buggy, it needs to be toggled on and off, and I had to create copies for every document I want to work on. I don’t need tons of crazy features. I only need templates to trick my brain into thinking I’m writing on the lines/in the boxes, PDF import support for importing worksheets, and good handwriting support with Apple Pencil. This app has all of that, and the pro version can be purchased with a one-time charge as opposed to an eternal rolling annual subscription. The pro version is priced quite fairly. I highly suggest everyone who uses this app to just buy the pro version even if you don’t need it. Support the developer(s)!

App is easy to use and I love it. But it’s about time they add some new features. Having only the possibility to change between 3 colours at once is insane. There is more than enough space to fit around 4-5 colours as well as having the highlighter on the same page as the pen. Features like the laser pointer and shapes and stickers are not used much by myself and other people that I know use this app. I wish they would offer more features with the Apple pen such as tapping it twice turns it into a highlighter rather than an eraser. Apart from that it’s easy to use and neat.

I have been absolutely loving GoodNotes, truly the best note-taking app I have ever used. However, I write to express my concern about how the app has taken me by surprise today. I left my iPad idle for 6-7 hours, without killing the GoodNotes app running in the background. When I returned to my iPad which had been undisturbed and locked, I was shocked to discover that it felt hot, and the battery level was now at 4%, even though it was at 90% before I left it alone. I checked the battery consumption in settings, because this has never happened for any other app before including games that would otherwise drain battery significantly while playing, and it had stated that GoodNotes had consumed 84% of my battery life. This is quite disappointing and inconveniencing. For this I hope you can improve the app’s battery consumption as there really should not be this much drainage from an app that is not being used actively. Otherwise, I thank you for its good functionality and hope you can continue to update and make it even more amazing.

I have been using GoodNotes for the longest time, ever since the start of high school to almost the end of it. It’s one of the best study tools that I have come across, and it is definitely worth it’s price. I’ve found that the app is simple, however has all the tools are are needed for almost everything imaginable. I have calendars, notes, and homework all in the same place, which makes carrying everything extremely easy and light weight. Not only that, this works wonderfully with the Apple Pencil. I’ve had no issues with writing with the Apple Pencil. It’s easy to navigate and personalize, and the ability to have folders organizes everything wonderfully. However, the only suggestion I would say is to add the function to name the pages in a notebook. This way, it would make it easier to look back on notes instead of having to look throw most of them before I’m able to get what I need. I think it will just make navigating even easier than it already is and is super functional and useful for those who use GoodNotes for note taking. Overall, this app has been one of my favorites that I have come across. I highly suggest this for those who love writing but hate having to carry around books and pens, and those who would want more personalization with their calendars and notes. Writing on a tablet takes some getting use to, however once you master it, it becomes extremely easy. It’s definitely worth the money, and the updates keep getting better and better, making this app one of the best note taking apps out there.

errors met: sometimes i get my texts deleted without pressing anything, and textbox texts gets overlapping wording. I have to click somewhere else to remove the overlapping words, sometimes it does not even get away that I had to refresh the application. even when i want to remove some words from textbox texts, the original text remains and has the same overlapping words effect. not newest updates seen on my side! suggestion: could goodnotes team possibly add a ‘table’ function like an excel file? because creating a table sometimes feel like a necessity in my notes all the time. i have spoken to some friends, and some of them do agree with me that they need it sometimes too. they said they have been creating their own textboxes with drawn lines, but the tables ends up not in evenly create spacing, which made their notes messy and such steps become tedious. do hope the goodnotes team can do something about this!

I love this app and have been using it for years. However, since Sunday I have experienced a lot of problems with it. My hobby is digital planning and I have got into that thanks to GoodNotes. However, on Sunday when I tried transferring some December and Christmas digital stickers my app started crashing when in split screen or overlapping. I have tried everything: updating my iPad, disabling auto backup, deleting pages from my digital planner (which was painful), making a new version of my digital sticker book (this version still crashed!) and finally gave up and organised my stickers in folders thinking that I would just use them instead of my sticker book. However when I tried the app continues to crash in Split View or overlap!!! I decided to give this app another chance and updated it immodestly as soon as I saw the latest update. However IT IS STILL CRASHING!!! I have tried EVERYTHING and am seriously at the point of giving up on digital planning due to the hours and tears wasted over the past several days trying to plan my week with constant crashes. PLEAASE FIX THIS so that I can continue to enjoy my hobby. I have spent a lot of money and time and really would not want it to go to waste!!! Once again PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE OR GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON WHAT I CAN DO! I have tried EVERYTING on the GoodNotes website and am REALLY FED UP!!!!!!!’

Notability has become unusable for me as shuffling pages in a large document is now all but impossible. The note taking writing experience is now a bit glitchy. I have been using notability for three years without a problem. These issues began when they moved to the subscription model. I no longer trust what they say. So notability is now a past reference tool for me. Goodnotes 5 has improved while I’ve been away in almost every way. The writing tools are superior as is the highlighting and diagram creation. The choice of templates is HUGELY better! The addition of document short cuts and easy to view thumbnails is on par with notability. Nebo is the best for script to text. Goodnotes 5 easily the best for everything else. The user friendly interface makes it easy and quick to learn. I love it! I don’t trust ginger labs and what they have done and may do with notability. My notes are important to me.

Great tool for note taking using ipad and apple pencil. Selecting shapes, or text to edit can be quite confusing - natural instinct is to use the same tool, tap for options, but at goodnotes, one needs to keep switching to lasso tool for editing functions. Sometimes very confused with pencil tap or finger tap to show editing options or remove options. Hope to see ability to lock objects - when you have writing over a colour filled shape, when lasso-select the writing to be moved, the background shape moves together. Hope to also see layer arrangement, i.e. ability to move a calligraphy drawing behind a writing - currently it needs to go in the order or creating background first, and overlay other writing objects on top (otherwise make highlighter come with more pen options rather than just a round tip pen). Apple pencil writing is great, but long text typing (i.e. full page text) is very difficult to use. Difficult to adjust line height, and it switches back to default by itself. Not very intuitive. Haven't seen an option to select multiple pages within a notebook to change template. So if one started off the notebook in the wrong template, or decides to change it up, one will need to change the template page by page, and I just tediously went through 60 pages. An option for drawing up tables would be great too. OK.. i think all these suggestion are making it become M Words with a stylus drawing capability.
