I was excited to play Stardew Valley but unfortunately I can’t use it on my phone at all. The edges of the screen are too zoomed in and there’s no way to fix it as I can’t access the in-game settings. From looking online this seems to be a problem for others as well so I wish the developers would get it sorted.

When playing co-op with another player, the guest visitor can’t go into the mines, or skull cavern without it freezing up n requiring that person close out the game n restart.

This mobile version is unfortunately terrible I wish so badly the controls were more comparable to the other versions of the game that I’m used to something like how Roblox has it with the tool bar being at the bottom (like in the other versions of the game) and a stick shift on the screen to make the walking the same concept as in Roblox/other versions of stardew. Unfortunately I just can’t relearn the entirely new concept of the walking and toolbar/ tool use and continue to go back and forth on other devices it just really doesn’t work and hopefully since I did have to spend money on this they at some point change it or at least give you control options as this is entirely possible and done on the Roblox app

Coop is a mess. Have to use vpn and even then it doesn’t work. Don’t get how this is so highly rated without basic multiplayer

Love this game but the bugs related to screen going black from tapping the bottom bar or the infinite running that gets the character stuck is so frustrating. have lost full day progress multiple times and makes it difficult to want to keep playing on IPad/Iphone

I just purchased the app for this game and cannot even get the game to load. It gets stuck on the home screen and will not move. Would like my money back ASAP.

It’s a very immersive game. You can have a partner, customize your farm and the town, and participate in events that have awards. However, the game can get extremely repetitive, even if you’re doing the task to get something. For the majority of quests or things you need to achieve something, the cycle below is what your gonna do: Buy seeds, sow seeds, water seeds, sleep, repeat And sure, you can do other things in the day. But for what reason? Quests come very slow with little reward. Also, you can just delete every quest you get and finish the game with no effort. Also, It’s very, very, very grindy. A lot of things cost multiple steps (and money) to do. Such as getting a partner, you need to buy a bigger house, buy a bouquet, get about 20,000G. And to get those 20,000G, it’s either you ALSO grind for it by fishing or something else OR grinding AGAIN for a better farm, and then after that you grind IN that farm for the money. And THEN you pay to fix the bridge for the beach, which you also have to GRIND wood. Once you fix it, you spend the money on the necklace thingy that costs 10,000G or something. Really, it’s heavily on money to make you progress in the game. Unlike Wylde flowers. You can be poor all you want but you can still progress in the game easily. ):< Be more like Wylde flowers. 2 stars. Not pleased.

Bought this for my iphone, and immediately upon playing I accidentally hit the fish smoker in my house with the pick ax, which placed it in my inventory. There seems to be no way to place it back in the room. When I drop the fish smoker it just bounces on the floor and back into my inventory. I also accidentally picked up the boat on the table and cannot place it back in on the table.

Please don’t download this game on iPhone. It is horrible to responding to inputs and the UI and functions in this game do not translate well to mobile. It is a horrible adaptation and you’re better off playing on PC or console. Save your money.

Honestly not the game for me but I understand the hype. Someone said it was like Minecraft so I got it and upon my first playthrough I was quite disappointed. It’s a bit similar but doesn’t give that type of experience; obviously… Not the game for me but hey, it might be for you.

Had my ostrich egg from journal page 10 stored in my shed and its disappeared from inventory. Getting tired of these glitches.

The game is improperly ported to newer version iPhones. Can’t see energy bar and randomly crashes.

I love stardew, but oh my how bad the layout is for mobile, i could not have expected it to be this unusable. I searched for a refund option and I could not find it.

Current version has some major stability issues, particularly after screen time activates or a phone call. Basically any time the app loses focus, it doesn’t handle that gracefully and is basically doomed to crash shortly thereafter. On top of that, it doesn’t save your game so that nice shiny diamond you found is gone to the RND gods.

The game menu is off screen so no UI adjustments can be made. Don’t purchase if this is your phone. Refund inbound.

This game simply doesn’t work on an iPhone & I don’t understand how they’re allowed to take my money for it. I was so excited to grab this for my phone bc I love it on switch, but when I first opened it I noticed the toolbar, energy bar, etc bleed off the screen. After googling & finding this had been a complaint for years I was confused, but persisted. Using the options I was able to move the toolbar from being completely blocked by the black oblong where the selfie camera lives. Using the options I was able to get almost everything in screen, but the energy bar has no controls available & I can’t see the bottom… which is integral to gameplay wether you’re fishing, farming, or adventuring the mines. In every instance I need to know when I’m getting low & how low. Just super sad to see I was charged $5 for this despite seemingly EVERYONE knowing it doesn’t work on iPhone. Not cool.

Paid game but no auto save

I purchased this game and I can’t even play it. There are some bugs or broken links. It only gives me the start of menu. I’ve tried everything even ChatGPT to walk me through to see if I can get to start and nothing works. Don’t waste your time.

I bought this only because it was recommended by an article. I played for 5 minutes and hate it. Everything is so small and pixelated. I don’t find it intuitive at all. It’s not fun. I tried to get a refund and apple is no help, of course. I HATE MODERN DAY TECHNOLOGY SO MUCH. YOU ALL ARE HORRIBLE.

I like stardew. But auto attack is for everything but mining, if you can stop the guy for wasting time walking around the building. And use it in mines you will die to it. I use joysticks for mining and my items change themselves while I am only hitting attack button. Not a single task is as easy as controller. Just buy a Xbox not this. And the juniom cart game has to many instant kills for it the be a required by qi. ik you evil smiled whil Making that but the tap is way to inconsistent

Can’t see or move half of the energy bar, can’t lock the toolbar to the top or bottom of the screen, tips pop up blocking your inventory that stop you from doing what the tip is telling you to do. Good game but bad port.

I have over 2400 hours in SDV on my PS5. Obviously a game I enjoy… so I decided to give this a whirl… a tablet is a wee bit more portable. And on Day 2, while fishing, had the screen fully black out, forcing an exit and restart. I know the game to be a lot of fun. I like the ability to water all 9 squares around the character., wish we had it on the PS5. But to have it crash on Day Two, is severely disappointing. It’s been deleted from my desktop, for now. Whenever that bug is fixed, I’ll be happy to try it again. But that bug makes it incredibly frustrating, especially given the importance of fishing in the game.

Zero in-game instructions

The energy bar in the corner will not resize so I can only see half of it, literally makes this game unplayable on iOS.

Can’t progress past New by clicking the check mark. Complete waste of money, unable to play.

Owning an iPhone 16 Pro and the proportions of the screen size are way off, you can’t see the energy bar fully, the date is cut off and same with the tool bar even when trying adjust it in settings.

The new update is just a bunch of bug fixes, and leader boards we never asked for or wanted or are relevant for an off-line single player game. WHERE'S NEW CONTENT? Haunted Chocolatier is a TERRIBLE game..

非常失望，iphone别买了，移植得完全不用心，我知道设置里可以调整，工具栏以横屏显示，矿洞r角完全看不见层数，竖屏显示可以解决，但是体力那里r角也会遮挡一部分，完全看不见还剩多少体力，就不能像设置工具栏一样设置个调整日期和体力距离手机边缘距离的调整模块吗，另外文字也很小，看起来非常吃力，移植得很不用心，完全可以优化一下

On my iPhone 15 screen the game is enlarged so it’s impossible to click to see the map and does not allow me to pinch zoom out and the tools are hidden behind my iPhone camera. Waste of $$ since it makes it impossible to play.

Game crashes when starting a new game using a controller The game was optimized for touch and it lost some controller accessibility with menus. Making it frustrating to navigate. And on iOS the energy bar is clipped off by the curve of my iPhone screen. Meaning I can't tell exactly when I'm going to run out of energy unless I'm constantly tapping it to display the number.

Paid for this app twice to only not be able to play with my boyfriend. That’s literally the only reason we bought this game. This is BS. Please fix or refund me!!!!

UI can not fully display for iPhone 17 pro. Maybe the whole 17 series has the same issue. Thanks to fix this issue ASAP….

I mean the graphics are less than perfect, but ok. But! The controls on my iPhone are partially covered by my camera section. So I can’t grab some of them. So I can’t really play. Sigh

Surprise! Just purchased another copy of the game to try and play with my daughter on her computer. And this version does not have the multiplayer feature as far as I can tell. Wish I could get my money back.

I can't enter the game after configuring my character.

I have a very hard time playing it. The text is very hard for me to see/read even when I tried making it bigger. I have a hard time putting my finger on the right spot, so I have a hard time clicking where I want to, or being able to tap the right spot to talk to shop owners. sometimes I tap and it won’t open the shop menu. It’s just very frustrating as a mobile game. I played this with on my desktop computer in the past and loved it. I am disappointed that the controls make it too frustrating to play on mobile. Maybe it’s just me. 😞

I was so exited to play multiplayer with my brothers but I figured out that it was fake and I was so happy until I found out. Please ConseredApe give mobile multiplayer. Im sad.

The miltiplayer even though its a "hidden feature" its way too buggy to even use everyone except the host freezes randomly and makes you disconnect and when you try to connect back you get out in a cooy of the hosts word (mobile)

I want to relax in this game. Why is fishing so difficult and time flies so fast?

When trying to play it was obvious it wasn’t optimized for my phone. Some text you can’t see under the Dynamic Island, you can’t exit screens well because the X is cut off, tool bar tools are cut off as well.

With more and more full games finding their way to mobile, I picked up a dedicated “stretch” controller for us with my iPhone. I was so excited when I saw the full version of Stardew, one of my favorite games of all time, was available here. Naturally I bought it immediately and jumped in. At first things seemed fine, but near the end of the first day I realized I was missing one of my starter tools. I had no storage yet, and it wouldn’t let me drop them, so I couldn’t figure out what happened. About 3 minutes later, I hit the X-button (Square on PlayStation controllers) and saw it happen live - the highlighted item vanished. It wasn’t on the ground, it wasn’t in storage, it was permanently deleted. I replicated it with my entire inventory before restarting the game / day, and replicated it some more. It appears this bug has gone back years, with many posts requesting fixes or sub feature requests that lay dormant. Yes I could play hoping I don’t press it by mistake, or rebind it to another button to avoid it entirely, but that’s a band-aid at best, not a real solution. Maybe it is Apple’s fault, a long running iOS bug or something, but I don’t think so. I have a dozen other games that all utilize the X button without issue and generally play perfectly with a controller. My plan is to check back in on Stardew Mobile every few months in hopes a patch finally comes. I know controller mobile players are still a minority, but it’s a percentage of the base that grows more and more every year and I will change my review to 5 stars at that time.

Unplayable in iphone 17. Too zoomed in. Cut off on the sides. Cant even find settings.

The screen display format is not properly fitted for an iPhone 16 plus also there is no settings button either in game or on the main menu (could be because of the screen formatting) please fix this, it’s a game I bought that I just can’t comfortably play because I can’t see my full screen…..

This would be a 2.5 just so you know. Hey since we weren’t on the same WiFi network my best friend and I couldn’t play together please please please read this and fix it my friend and I were soooooo disappointed don’t get this game if you want to play with your friends.

This is one of my favorite games of all time sure there are bugs here and there but most of the bugs get patched.And whenever you play you always find something to do. I highly recommend this game

Im thinking maybe for it to be eaiser to get stuff ive been playing for more than 60+ hours over the course of a few days and im finding out its kind of boring after a little bit i would also love for there to be more marine animals like whales or dolphins that you can catch as like super rare ones and maybe /fore there to be more clues for the skullkey and stuff like that right now im in the late game and its hard especially with my child who is a waste of space my husband who i dont want and a farm i wish i hadnt chosen sadly over all one of the best pixel games ive ever played i just wanted to give some suggestions like more animals like whales like i said and maybe the ability to pick up animals or stuff thxxx

Stardew valley is fantastic as a game. Anyone who hasn’t played it should give it a try. My issue is with the HUD when playing on the iPhone. The bottom of the energy bar is off screen so I am unsure of when I am actually going to run out of energy causing me to either spend extra money on food or end days early because I don’t know how much energy I have. The hotbar also is blocked by the dynamic island on iPhone so you are required to add a large buffer that cuts off a large part of the screen in order to even use half of the hotbar while using touch screen controls. If there were more options to customise where the hotbar is located on the screen as well as being able to move the energy and money bars on the HUD that would immediately solve all of my issues with the mobile version of the game. Aside from HUD incompatibility this is a fantastic game and I would recommend it to anyone. It’s so great that I have bought it on three seperate platforms. Please fix the HUD issues on mobile.

I'm a new subscriber, so I'm not sure about the rating yet, but I have a problem visualizing your tools. Your hoe looks like an axe or a hammer. It would be good if you changed it to a real look and the object would look like itself in real life, not just in virtual.

Thank you for creating this game. We Vietnamese all really enjoy it, but there's one thing I hope you'll add: please add Vietnamese language support for iOS players like us. We're not fluent in your language, and sometimes we have to exit and re-enter the game to look up words, which is inconvenient. We hope you'll add this. Thank you.🥰💗

攻略五花八门的 前面几天由于看了太多攻略 导致很焦虑不想玩 后面把钓鱼搞上来了 直接就是一整个沉浸式钓鱼！还是要自己慢慢来 遇到不明白的搜搜攻略可以 如果完全跟着攻略来就有些焦虑 因为东西太多了 好玩！爱玩！

It’s hard to play this game when the toolbar for items is so small on top of that it causes problems. My fingers aren’t even big by the way. Another thing is, how am I supposed to put a crab pot in the ocean? If it won’t let me there are some features in this game that aren’t offered in the PC version.

Updated review again: finally figured out how to exit the game from the title screen but it was not immediately apparent. Swiping up actually minimized the window and let me exit but it is very intermittent so I still have to reboot the phone some times to exit the app. Still doesn’t scale well on an iPhone 17 and the “notch” is in the way of dialog and toolbar buttons. Not ideal on iPhone at all and I ended up uninstalling and playing on a PC. Waste of $4.99 since apple refuses to refund me but oh well.

I have played this for way too long, I’m taking 500+ hours, there is so much gameplay, and it never get boring.

Such an awesome game for people who love adventure, farming, and exploring. The characters are all well made for the story, they have fun quests to complete, interesting and mysterious storylines, which are great at getting you curious and addicted, it is like living the life of an ordinary farmer, except it has the excitement of pixelated and fake, but still interesting interactions with the love and hate you can get, the happiness and sadness, the gratefulness and jealousy, the nervousness and confidence. I’m not very great at explaining this game, because of how unique it is, but I think you should download, especially if you don’t usually have much to do after work or school, or on a weekend. It passes time pretty easily, but then once you have to stop playing so that you don’t forget your family members names, you won’t want to, so that’s the downside. There are no ads, optional or forced, just pure hard work and dedication required. After paying for the game, No money is needed to progress, just dedication and addiction. If you are going to get addicted to something, this is the thing. Thank you for reading! I hope I helped convince you to get addicted and in love with this adventurous game!

Stardew valley did not disappoint! Been playing it for over 2 years on Nintendo , laptop , & now on mobile . There are so many options and storylines that it’s impossible to get bored . You can have multiple saves.

It really makes me sad that my friends and I can't play online because of the different version. The Android terminal has been updated for almost a year. Can't the Apple terminal be updated yet?

I love this game so so much!! I prefer it on PC just because of couch co-op with my boyfriend lol!! I recommend to everyone it’s such a cute cozy game :p
