I opened this app after completing the download, and I was instantly charged for the subscription fee without even having time to read the terms and conditions. It happened so fast just right after the app was loaded.

Always say “in order to translate, you need internet connection” when clicking conversation translations, when you click customer support say “error please try again, of the error persists contact our support” But I can not as that’s what I’m trying

I am experiencing an issue where the app continuously shows “No Internet Connection” despite my phone having a stable and working internet connection. The app worked normally on the first day of use, but starting from the second day onwards, the issue began occurring consistently. I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including restarting my phone, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, turning Airplane Mode on and off, force closing and reopening the app, checking app permissions, disabling VPN, and resetting network settings. However, the issue still persists. At the same time, all other apps and websites on my device are working perfectly fine without any connectivity issues, which indicates that the internet connection on my device is functioning normally. Kindly assist in checking and resolving this issue as the app is currently unusable.

I went to Puerto Vallarta and I had no luck with this app. I mean, I could speak into it and then it’ll translate in Spanish and the other way around, but if I’m at a table or close by to somebody, it can’t hear anybody it’s like I’m listening. It was complete waste of my time if I turn on Google though Google did really well I’m like and that’s for free app so I don’t know. in fact, if I’m texting on my regular Apple iPhone, it can hear a conversation like across the room and it starts texting what somebody else is saying across the room that’s how well texting is why can’t this app hear unless I’m 6 inches from the microphone. That’s the only it hears anything I’m saying or the other person like 5 feet from me I don’t get it . I thought this would be a better app cause I’m paying 9.99 a week but obviously it wasn’t. I was very unhappy with it. Here’s the kicker I have the Apple pod three for translation, but I didn’t feel like putting them in my ears. People thinking I’m listening to music and ignoring them. I don’t even know why I bought them but they work well on a plane when I’m watching my movies lol

Not only is this app mediocre but it makes you spend $15 dollars a week even when you don’t even use the app. Make sure you don’t forget about it either because it still charges you and puts your subscription bills in junk mail, I lost around $300 wondering what the problem was, turns out it was a forgotten app on my phone.

I thought the translation was excellent and very useful for all kinds of input. BUT. Beware of the AUD$15 PER WEEK subscription. Not month or year. Thats about $780 subscription per year, about 4 times a full microsoft family subscription with AI! Should be much more up front, and 3days free is a joke. Enough to forget in a busy life and then auto-renew kicks in. I tried it once but now i can find the subscription to cancel, i guess it will wait until *after* the free period to show up. The instructions to cancel suggest the itunes store on ios 18 still, but of course its not there. Not sure what happens on a mac. This is predatory subscription entrapment. In a year ans a bit i could get an Apple Watch instead. Sorry because the software is excellent and the software engineers probably didn’t get to say what market/sales wanted. Disappointing.

Used to love this app as it’s easy to use and the translation is close to accurate. However, they now load lots of ads where you have to wait for the ad to finish to be able to access the translation, most of the time ads load even before you can type in the word you want to translate.

I did NOT subscribe to this APP. I downloaded it to try it out but I was bombarded with subscription billings straight away and NO option to cancel it. Never used the app even for the 3 days free trial. The message that I “must cancel my subscription at least one day before” prevented me to even try the APP. I am on an adventure holiday not always available WiFi and the 3 day trial period is over in one day because you have to cancel it one day before! I deleted the APP straight away but I am still getting reminders of my (non existent) subscription and this stresses me out. Please please cancel the subscription that I did not take. Check your records. I deleted the APP and I do not want to keep getting your reminders. Many thanks

I downloaded this because of the photo feature, but the app won’t let you use it without paying a subscription fee. So why shouldn’t I just use google translate, which is free, or the app that came with my phone? Other apps with similar features are available for free. This app prompts you for payment as soon as the download is finished. It does not introduce you to the free features first, or give a full description of what you might be paying for. It is too easy to look away for a minute then approve the payment without thinking. While it does give you a free trial first, I think many users will expect to get a basic feature set without paying, and might approve the reoccurring subscription without realizing what they have agreed to.

Don’t waste your time if u do not wish pay for the main reason u install this app. Is hard to believe Apple promo this app so called VR but that vital part of functionality need money.

This app asks you to pay 22 euros per month to have a translation that you could otherwise obtain for free with google. Uninstalled as soon as the free trial expired, saved my money and went out with it for a nice dinner instead.

The only thing thing you can do with this if you don’t subscribe is translate text you type. Not a single other thing is available. I deleted it instantly. Don’t bother downloading this. You’ll be better off with Google Translate which has a camera function for free. It also has a ‘Detect Language’ function which this app doesn’t have. Also, it doesn't have annoying ads popping up every 5 minutes.

Use google translate people, don’t use this scam app. Translations are identical, because it uses google’s own api, the one they use in their own app. Why pay for something that you can get for completely free with no ads elsewhere? Use google translate instead

This app does not work. It does not allow me to select a photo and demands for money just for simple features which is unnecessary and a total rip-off. I refreshed the app and tried to select another photo but it kept crashing. No matter how high the rating is, don’t try this app.

Can’t translate a single word since every single time an add pops up!! So irritating. Plus,It demands money to for the simple futures. Total rip-off.

I have a family share account with my Kids and my fiancé. My fiancé is Iraqi and always looks at different translation apps, we use them all the time. I use them to communicate with his mom and he uses them when he is struggling with something he hears or sees. I didn’t even try this app I do not care at all what the translation quality is. What annoys me is that as soon as you open the app it’s a message to purchase, so my fiancé pushes the button not really realizing he was purchasing this app. When $70 came out of my account I was a little less then livid. I have contacted support twice with absolutely no response back. I wanted it canceled immediately. Even though this app is part of my family share account and it shows up in my purchase history I can’t even access the app myself says I have not purchased anything. Since I never got a response back and APPLE SUPPORT couldn’t help because they don’t manage subscriptions for this developer we figured ok let’s just use it for a year and see how it is. However there is no way to prevent this app from renewing next year unless I go cancel my debit card, I can’t even access the additional areas of the app that are suppose to be a part of the purchased app. So this company has $70 of my money, no way for me to stop subscription, neither myself or my fiancé can even access the app beyond the free portion. Now I have to go through a lengthy dispute process with my bank to have the transaction reversed. Buyer beware!!!!

È inaccettabile. Ormai, avendo pagato, lascio scadere il mese ma avrò cura di non rinnovare più l’app. Un consiglio: non scaricatela!

Inutilizzabile la versione free perché permette di tradurre solo con testo e tanto vale tenersi il proprio traduttore. Le funzioni aggiuntive di fotocamera e microfono si sbloccano con l’abbonamento a 10€ al mese che ritengo davvero eccessivo. Somme più basse potrebbero anche farlo prendere in considerazione, ma così è tanto per l’utilizzo che se ne fa.

Excellent app, held a complex conversation with an Italian taxi driver who was reading my phone while weaving through traffic at speed. Only minor grump is that I don't see the point of the 'UK' English version because it still translates into American, e.g. 'gasoline' and 'hood' rather than 'petrol' and 'bonnet', 'gotten' instead of 'got' etc. . UPDATE: Received an email from the developer apologising for my disappointment! As I gave the app four stars I was a little surprised; perhaps their response bot needs tweaking!🙂

Hey, I know it’s been a few months since you may have a review like this. But the ads from the free version are still here and they’re still being quite disruptive. Some people who are in a hurry need to translate things quickly and may find the ads annoying, is there any way we can fix this? Thank you

I have always loved learning languages but never became fluent. However as a driver for multiple rideshare companies this app has come in handy several times! 50 % of my passengers speak Spanish. Never have taken a Spanish class in my life and learned from living in CA I am always limited. Now I want to learn more. Plus my brother in law speaks Spanish, my sister in law speaks German and my friend speaks French. So while trying to learn more Spanish and brush up on my French this app comes in handy. Another reason why I love this app is because taking lessons whether in person or on app you aren’t going to learn certain worlds, slang, different dialects. So I have created a new technique to learn languages using this app. I will say the app does block profanity. For some reason I had recalled a word in Spanish but couldn’t remember what it was so I tried this app and the translation even showed ***** lol So I had to go another route. But overall especially as a rideshare driver, this app is life saver when communication has a language barrier.

This app legitimately works for reading Japanese manga in real life. Very few if any translation errors and all of it makes sense and has emotion im very happy with this. Its just a bit expensive I’d prefer a one time payment option if possible

Tolle, übersichtliche App, die von Update zu Update besser wird. Lerne Ukrainisch und habe bisher keine App gefunden, die so gut funktioniert in Verbindung mit dieser Sprache. Zudem ist die App kostenlos, zumindest in allen Bereichen, die für meine Belange wichtig sind(Übersetzung von Worten, Sätzen bis ganze Textabschnitte). Die neue Funktion mit Satzbeispielen für gesuchte Worte ist auch super! Vielen Dank an die Entwickler!🫶🏻
