This app snagged me into a free trial for 7 days. On day 5 it charged my card. I tried to cancel on day 6. It would not allow and put me into an AI that told me to go to Apple where I got another AI that said I had no purchases available to refund.

This plant is not healthy. And why all the other pictures that are not my plant.

Warning to others! I wanted to try this to see if the advice for faltering plants might be aligned with other research I’ve conducted, so I signed up for the 3-day trial. I was busy, so didn’t try it until day 3, but with more than 12 hours to go before my trial ended and at my very first use, my credit card was hit for the $40 annual fee. I wondered if I missed fine print on the free trial that says if you use it at all in the 3rd 24-hour period, you buy a year-long subscription. The second plant diagnosis was completely wrong, so what am I paying for? Ugh, no more free trials for me.

Intro like to long for what u have to pay to find out what is wrong with your plants or find out what a plant is

I used this for a month and everything it told me was wrong and I wound up killing 100’s of dollars worth of plants!

I don’t do plants! So in an effort not to kill the one I was given I did a trial. The next thing I know I am charged $42.99 with no way to cancel. I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford this. When I used the app it didn’t tell me the problem until it charged my card.

I’ve had this app for a few years now and have found it very helpful and reliable in the past. This year it has made mistakes more frequently (even on fully mature plants). I feel like it should be accurate almost all of the time, especially since it is a paid subscription and has been around for a while so should have worked out the kinks. I would unfortunately recommend looking to another app.

Great for identifying plants. As far as helping diagnose plant issues not so much. I uploaded 10 different plants this app literally gave me the same diagnosis for 7 out of 10 and one of the main fixes was CINNAMON! My home smells like a botanical bakery. I will say every is pruned, watered and dusted with Cinnamon 😂😂😂 not worth 39.99 a month

The first couple minutes opening this application is just the application telling you all it’s accomplishments. About half way through the presentation I closed the application and uninstalled. Went and found me an application that doesn’t waste my time telling me how great is.

I take a picture of a brown spot and it said it was sick and then I took a picture of a black brown spot ON THE SAME PLANT and it said it was perfectly fine. Of course it was not perfectly fine. Do not buy it has not helped us save a single plant. We’ve tried it on 12+ and the advice did not do anything.

Hi, your application suggests that it’s bad to eat unripe berries which yes makes sense. However, it doesn’t state that they do become edible when ripe. Because of this I’ve lost trust in the information you’re providing for those interested in natural plant life and foraging.

This app did not identify the correct plant. It also stated a plant that was over saturated with water needed more water. I emailed the company asking for a refund with no reply.

Not gonna lie, I’ve had this app and paid for the yearly subscription for quite a few years now. It works well. But recently I’ve been seeing all kinds of AI slop ads all over social media for this app and for some reason it just doesn’t sit well for me. So for that reason I will no longer be using the app.

I signed up for a year ,Unfortunately. Do not waste your money. This app over water your plants. Just look up your plants for free and take care of them accordingly to the plant’s instructions. I have a lot of months left for this useless app! I have only had this app for a month and most of my plants look worse but can be saved by not taking this app advice’s.

I signed up for the 7-day free trail that would charge me $39.99 after the 7 days. I was charged $19.99 the very same day I even canceled my subscription the same day.

I think that the purpose of this app is to identify more difficult and unique plants, not really common ones. It did not get it correct. It could be in a similar family, but it is wrong. It identified my plant as a dragonfruit that was “unhealthy.” But the succulent part of the plant had 4 sides and not 3, is a vine, and has a bright flamingo pink flower with excessively fuzzy white base. For sure not a dragonfruit. I’d skip this app if you have something unique. Unless there is a button to manually submit it to an expert if the app cannot correctly identify.

I already decided to use the app and download it. Then it forces you to watch a long Ad. I just deleted it. I already downloaded, why make me watch a never ending Ad before I can even use the app? You already sold me on it

This app sucks! You can’t see what you’re looking for without popups staying on screen so long you give up and close the app.

Purchased the app. Before I did I read the terms and conditions. Yep, I’m that guy. Seemed like a useful thing to have. I grow and cultivate the seeds and sell them for various types of rare plants. The one plant I took photos of the app says. “We do not diagnose these types of plants” I said what? If you are going to exclude certain varieties you might want to advertise which ones you are going to discriminate against. I’ve asked for a refund of my $44 but I’m sure I won’t get it. The way things are these days. Written up in a way that’s impossible to get around. I’m also sure I’m the only person with this problem. That’s the other thing people say. To get away with a service that doesn’t work.

I finally threw my plant away. The worthless advice I got from this app left me WITH A LEAFLESS STUB OF A PLANT THAT NEVER GOING TO RECOVER. In my opinion: A worthless app

Took a picture of our Sylvester palm which is plagued with brown fonds. They turn brown within days of growing new ones. This tree is not healthy yet this site says it is.

Absolute waste of time, hope u morons know I’ll be reporting this app as it has no buisness being on the App Store

It tells me that the plant is healthy when it’s almost dead, and more than one situation. And when it says it could use some help it doesn’t tell you what to do.

I don't want to put in my credit card info when I search for a "free" plant identifying app yet ask for my credit card, so if there is a part that is free then I didn't get that far to find out. Immediately deleted. If this is an app you will use constantly then it will probably be worth paying but I only wanted to use for ONE plant so wouldn't be worth it for me. My rating is based on my opinion of my experience so hard to rate the actual app since my rating is based on immediately being asked for credit card info.

This app straight up stole money right out of my bank account that I was saving for my rent and it chose the most expensive premium plan They possibly could without asking for my consent to take the money or any type of notification so unless you just want the money to come out of your bill money do not download they're 100% scam and thieves and when you ask for a refund, they send you to Apple and Apple ask you for a receipt and I don't have a receipt on the payment

This app has consistently charged my card on my Apple account for the past 2weeks! Non stop! Even after the service show cancelled. You can’t speak to anyone and they know they shouldn’t be charging people for cancelled subscriptions. I am definitely going further with this!

I bought the Pro plan to identify weeds in my yard to help me get rid of them. Every one I tried it identified it as Kentucky Bluegrass, my yard’s grass. It was no help with the weeds.

Do not try this app! I tried it out for a day or two, canceled it and then got billed anyway. Apple will not refund it. DON’T DO IT!!!

I’ve been loyal to this app for so long and when I took a picture of my leg for fun, it said it was a plant and I thought maybe it is a malfunction so I took other pictures and it said the stuff was plants! I uninstalled it, then reinstalled, and it still said it was a plant! It can only read basic plants, I am very mad!

This app does not work well. Identify species of plant? Tell you what is wrong with the plant. I have one that was dying because I did not water for over a week since I was traveling, I tested it out on plant, and the result said he was dying because too much water and pour drain, completely wrong.

This app will not allow you to cancel your subscription!

The app was working very well identifying plants, etc. But all of a sudden the daily tasks are telling me to water the same plants every single day. I have restarted my phone. I have updated the app. It’s all AI so there’s no human to talk to to try to figure out what’s going on, at this point I just want my money back. These days 40 bucks is a lot of money to waste.

I would like to know how much this supposedly great app is. There are recent reviews all these reviews are from 2023, we’re in 2026. I tried this app years ago & free app turned out you got to check 2 plants before it said subscribe

It’s calling my English basil sage

They charged me $17.46 on the first day of my “free” trial and I cancelled on Day 1 of free trial.

Did not correctly identify the ecolyptus gum tree.

The "remedies" recommended are based on old wives tales and are actually detrimental to the plants. The so-called plant identification uses dumbed down regional names instead of scientific names that would be applicable no matter the location. It deserves zero stars.

Charged me before the free trial was up and didn’t notify me.

I actually bought this app by accident, and they refused to give me a refund even after five minutes. But since I have got it, I’ve gone ahead and tried to diagnose several plants that look sick. The diagnosis for every plant of every kind is overwatering and needs aspirin mixed with water. No matter what kind of plant it is that’s what it says. And my cactus completely dries out before I water it but according to this app, it is overwatered. Don’t waste your time, it is worthless. And I am very unhappy with it.

I purchased for the diagnostic capability. It does not perform as advertised. I have two plants in my garden that I diagnosed. The app diagnosed that they were over watered. It hasn’t rained here for two weeks so that was definitely not correct. I asked for a refund and was directed to contact Apple. Apple denied my refund.

Run from this app, it's basically a bloated subscription scam.

I signed up for trial and I canceled before the trial was up they charged me for the year and when I asked to be refunded they denied it twice. Apple representatives told me that this happens a lot with this third-party app for them refusing refunds. stay away don’t trust!!!!

Used to use this app religiously, but can’t use the diagnose feature now without paying. No thanks. I’ll stick to google image search for the same results for free.

This app is very cool. I hope it helps with my gardening.

It’s okay, it does what’s needed but not worth the money. They were supposed to send a reminder out before renewing and billing me but they didn’t. Just Google the plants and what they need save $40

This app is so easy to use. It really helps identifying not only plants and vegetables in your garden, but also identifies weeds. ( cause sometimes I’m not sure). Very, very good app for keeping all of your plants set up on watering and fertilizing schedules. The app also tells you if your plant looks sick. Then it gives the steps to save your plant Perfect for growing my knowledge in all plants.

You have the option to purchase the app and get more in depth info but I just use the free. I can pull it up and get pretty accurate I D of a plant and I for about it. I would recommend

I’m a professional gardener, but not a master and this app is helping me identify plants without having to pull someone away from their task to find out what it is.

THIS APP! I’ve been using it for years. Whenever I see an interesting tree or plant plants in a neighborhood I’m driving through and I’m like oh man that’s really cool. I can take a quick picture and it tells me exactly what it is. I can save it to my portfolio all for no charge, unless I wanna pay for the subscription. Amazing stuff, peoples/binaries/nons/et al — thank you very much. Go Bills.

This app is beyond useful for identifying, and diagnosing, growing plants, as well as deciding what is a weed and what isn’t.

I have enjoyed making use of this app. Since I am awfully uneducated regarding plants and trees, it has been wonderfully helpful.

This app seems really good. But there are some of us who have never garnered in our life! And have ZERO knowledge of caring for different plants. And many times in the app, they describe and teach things but speaking that gardening language that I don’t quite understand. Some of the things I read is as if I’m reading Chinese. I have no clue what they’re talking about. Strongly recommend to have “straight to the point” pop up windows or something that explain things in PLAIN EASY TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH for those of us who are now getting into gardening. Not so many distracting extras or unnecessary details. Just straight to the point easy to understand plain English without all the poetic or complicated words. Other than that. It’s a good app! 👍🏼
