The game interrupts the daily puzzle with ads. Not for me.

This Sudoku app isn’t badly designed, but it plays so many long and annoying ads while you’re solving puzzles that you forget what you were doing. People solve puzzles to improve their focus and relax, but this game does the exact opposite! I definitely do not recommend it.

They pop up in the middle of a game. Not once but every couple of minutes. So awful. It’s a free game but come on. I’ll e in the middle of putting a number in and an ad pops up!! No joke.

This version of sudoku is so over complicated! The game is seriously lacking! And the ads are too much.

I’ve been playing this game for a few months now. I’ve made it to grandmaster and have been for some weeks top 10. Just in the last couple of days the banner as at the bottom of the screen has become a pop up. I accept games need ads for revenue. Accept that they are present between games etc etc but this is now unplayable. The game just continuously has pop up ads throughout the game itself. Just interminable to deal with in a game that requires concentration to solve. Had enough, will find another option.

Nothing like two mid-game ad breaks to really help my concentration while I’m playing sudoku.

Good Sudoku game but be aware that it uses AI images in its events. I’m not a fan of that, personally, so I will be un-downloading promptly.

Like many others have said, this game is great. It keeps my brain sharp and it feels like a better use of time than scrolling endlessly on social media. The number of ads is ridiculous though. You have to watch an ad if you make more than two mistakes in order to “save” your progress and get a second chance, then you get an ad every time you fill in every one of a certain number. It deters me from even wanting to open the app. It also costs wayyyyy too much money to pay for no ads. It’s ridiculous.

Every 3-5 moves you’re stuck with a ad…worst ones my I add to…4 clicks just to get to your game then repeat over and over…if your love your battery to be drained fast play this game the ads will kill your battery life quickly

It’s a fine version of sudoku but the ads get overwhelming really fast. Multiple breaks in a single game and they can come really fast.

I love to play sudoku and this app was fun and challenging but the amount of ads outweighed the the whole point of the game. I swear every two or three moves sent me to an ad that needed 3-4 clicks to get out of and it just became not worth it. I’ll find another app I guess.

The adds take too long, does not let you close it or tell you how much longer it will take. Horrible experience

I’ve had this game for a while; they’ve recently updated it to where you can’t do the monthly challenges from previous years anymore. I’m sad because I’ve been recently trying to collect all the trophies from the other years. Wish they’d change it back because it gave me a goal to work towards which made me play almost daily.

This is actually horrible and I have had this app for years, working though the daily challenge, completing them month by month, and working through the backlog. This has now been disallowed. I am now incapable of completing the few months I had left, forever. Whoever approved of this decision should be removed from their jobs immediately. This is so stupid. Let me do the daily challenges from 2019 if I so want to.

I noticed they disable daily challenges after 12 months and I needed to complete them and they should make all of them available again

Multiple hints in a game that appears to be broken did not make sense in the context of the game board.

Too many adds and too much data linked to me. I wish I had paid more attention to the data linked directly to me and not have downloaded it at all!

I’ve been playing this app for some time now but recently the ads have increased to the point I’m ready to delete it. I understand the need ads to fund development but now ads pop up without me even making a move.

Great game, fun to play. But the ads are HORRIBLE! Ads at the start of the game, ads at the end of the game, and ads at 25%, 50%, and 75% of the game progress. And not just ads you can exit out of or skip after 15 seconds. Totally lose your game momentum. I’ll just be using the website, which isn’t nearly as user friendly as the app.

I hate to leave a bad review, because I love this app, but there’s no way to submit tickets for help. The settings toggles are no longer working. I keep turning off the autocomplete toggle, and once I close settings, it resets automatically to autocomplete. I hate the autocomplete function because getting to fill in the last number is the best part!

Too many adds. they won’t put them at first but once you play for a while it’s adds after every other number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is manipulated to make you to lose so you can upgrade to the pay version and if you don’t want to pay it will make you lose ( marking as a mistake the number you choose) so you can constantly keep watching videos to be able to continue with the game until you get tired of it and upgrade

Seems like every few numbers found there’s an ad. Any train of thought or progress is just immediately interrupted by an ad. Unless you wana pay 14 dollars for a sudoku game without ads, i suggest you try another app

I don’t mind watching Ads at all. Sometimes I’ll even play them. But it’s ridiculous that you’ll literally get an ad in the middle of doing your puzzle. And you just have to turn your brain off and sit there and watch them until they finally go away. Then when you finish the puzzle, you get another ad. The ads single handily made me delete this app. I just wanted to complete the daily challenges but I feel I spent more time watching ads than completing the board.

You’ll be in the middle of a game and an ad pops up. Each ad takes like 2 min to close. Can’t even enjoy a full game.

I can’t stand when apps trap you in ads and give you click through ads after. I tolerated it for a while, but it’s such a scuzzy way to make your app profitable. Be better!

I’m getting a book at this point. I love sudoku but the ads keep reminding me why I don’t use this app.

I understand that it’s a free app and I’m not opposed to watching ads if it means I can play for free, but if I have to watch an ad in between moves, or immediately upon opening the game that is out of hand. Not to mention there is a bar across the bottom of the screen that constantly displays an ad. Would honestly give it five stars if it weren’t for that.

Good app, but I don’t use it as much as I would like to because there is no Dark Mode available and it’s hard on my eyes to look at the bright screen.

This is the worst. They make it so you literally can’t win. Don’t play it’s a total scam it isn’t even sudoku because it does not follow sudoku rules.

If you pause the game, you have to watch an ad to unpause. If you get all nine of one digit, you have to watch an ad. If you sneeze blink or breathe, you have to watch an ad. It’s a fun game, but ridiculous!

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys spending more time watching those cliche mobile game adds than actually playing sudoku, then this is the perfect app for you! “Excuse me waiter, there’s some gameplay in my adds.”

The adds continue to increase. Between games would be one thing; even an occasional one during a game would be understandable. But 4 adds in a one minute game is too much. Been playing since 2021 but removing today. The blocking access of older daily challenges, which I was hoping to catch up on and was well under way, is totally unacceptable.

Why the FLIP did the age rating change, I can’t play it anymore. Also, why is there so many adds like, I can even go 2 minutes before getting an add. And why do you have to do 10 (or something like that) of the 2ed hardest levels to get to even unlock the hardest. I would deleat this bc now it’s just a waste of space. But I can’t. Don’t recommend. Also, how is SUDOKU 13+, there is no things that it would make it 13+ except for like crashing out bc you lost the 50/50s 3 times in a row or whatnot. It’s just a puzzle game that is fun to play ANOTHER thing, why is there so many flipin events. I just wanna play classic sudoku, not 10000 events that are sudoku type but not focused on just casually playing sudoku. sudoku.com please change it. I don’t care if it takes 10 days or 10 months to make a new event or an update, I just want the events to feel special and worth it to do and the updates felt like they are worked on and not like they put this together in 1 or 2 weeks. For example, my current favorite game took 6 months to release a update, but it is 10/10 quality. Just try to space out the updates and make them more worth it. (you can shove out a update if something rlly bad happens like if the thing can’t open bc of a iOS update oc)(Btw, if you don’t have a level of difficulty unlocked, with some events, you can just go to that and skip doing 10 ez puzzles) ANOTHER THING, this is a puzzle game, why when I finish a puzzle, I get flashed by 20 things I have no idea what they are. It’s a puzzle game, nothing more, nothing less. This is more of an obvious thing, but HOLY ADD SPAM! Like I kind of understand when you run out of hints and sometimes when you complete the puzzle, but when you get all of 1 number or somethin, you get a 3 MINUTE UNSKIPABLE ROYAL KINGDOM AD. Not going to lie, I could of completed a box or row or column or whatever by the time the ad was gone. Ik that free games need/like ads because it gives you money to update the game and just for a general income, but please keep the ads to a minimum. (Also, where is dark mode, I don’t wanna be flashbanged every time I open the app) (And can you make a thing that says the different strategies for finding the numbers, the hints to a mid job, but it would be nice to have a optional page that tells you and gives you examples) (Also, did you just set up a auto send system or copy and paste to “assure people that adds are mandatory for a free game” and “we are trying to enhance the experience” or are all of them hand or typed?) Wouldn’t recommend, just get the physical copy’s of the game at this point.

I’ve been playing for years and I think I just played my last game on this app. The ads won’t even allow me to close them now. I have to close out the app entirely and restart it otherwise I’m stuck on an ad screen. Terrible.

Decent sudoku game completely ruined by the ads. Constant scrolling ads across the bottom of the screen, plus pop up full screen ads constantly obscuring the game.

I’ve enjoyed playing the daily challenges on this app for years. After a recent update a glitch in the app auto-finishes games at a certain point. It will start to fill in all remaining numbers at record speed and then it’s over. This sometimes happens when I’m only about halfway done and is very frustrating. Please fix this.

Too many ads. You get like 5 long ads breaking up flow during game play.

I hate the constant ads in this game. It really annoys me.

The ads are so bad. I’m fine with an ad before and after a game because developers deserve to make money off their games. But they pop up multiple times mid-game, and they’re the really awful ones that try to trick old people into downloading viruses by saying your phone has been infected. Especially shameful for something from a reputable site.

I am getting multiple ads mid game which is so frustrating. Sudoku is supposed to be a relaxing game but it’s hard to enjoy it when every time I play I experience at least 2 ads mid game. I understand having ads after you win or lose, but mid game? Cmon man we can do better than that.

It’s just too much. Every game gets interrupted 3-4 times just for the ads. I get that ads are necessary, but you can’t even enjoy a single puzzle because it’s continuous interruption.

like come on. i’m not paying $15 to get rid of ads, sorry. the game is fun but it feels like every single time you clear one number it shoves an ad in your face. get a paperback sudoku book and do that instead

I actually paid to go ad-free because I play so much sudoku. I had access to an AI-based Apple Arcade sudoku game, but I preferred this one...until this most recent update. Now half the time I lock a number to fill in multiples of that number, I get two positions of that number filled before another number is highlighted & the number I selected is unlocked. When I complete a box, the completion animation is activated, despite turning that setting off (& toggling it several times). My usage of this app has plummeted. I haven't finished a daily puzzle in weeks; for a few months, I was retroactively completing 2-3 dailies+the day of. You already have my money, sure. But do better. You want my data, right? You get nothing if I don't use the app. ETA: I followed the instructions provided- which work for now- but I have also had to turn off that setting every time the app updates.

Great game but the app needs optimisation. A sudoku game shouldn’t heat up my phone and drain its battery so quickly. It’s why I’ve had to unfortunately had to delete the game.

First few games no ads, then ads within the game

the ads on this game is crazy. I ‘m trying to do sudoku and I have to spend 10+ minutes playing their ad games. Also theres no close button for their ads. Would not recommend app, choose another one for sudoku.

At one time I would have given this game high marks. But they recently changed the game so that it is autofilling in squares. Why would I want to sit and watch some program fill in squares automatically? I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME, not be an observer. Absolutely hate this change.

I don’t mind the ads, but it’s like they hide the exit buttons or something, and it’s just too much. I enjoy the game and the clean interface, all the options that it has. But I just had to uninstall it because it was sometimes impossible to exit from the ads without exiting the app. It just became unplayable.

This trash app forces ads in the middle of the game. Worse yet, you cannot escape the ad and get back to your game without installing more of their trash. Absolutely do not install this on your phone.

The game plays smooth and is fun. But after the game is over it brings up a dumb game that makes you play a few plays but will never let you back out to continue with sudoku. You have to completely close the game and reload it.

I have played this game for a couple of years but tonight I will delete it. The ads are entirely too long and they link to websites that are questionable.

This app is a large disappointment. It was once great and the best place for Sudoku play. The adds to difficulty was nice. Now it is so far beyond broken and annoying it’s shameful to see where it’s gone. An ad pops up after almost minor achievement, even if you do them in rapid succession. The ads are glitchy with buttons the size of rice grains to maximize ad misclicks. The ads themselves are aggravating to no end, since some of them physically have no time limit and will force you to close the app to even break through the sequence. At one point in time I had logged over 300 extreme puzzles and had easily spent dozens of hours on this app. I genuinely do not have enough words for the disgust and monetization that is coming from an app that is supposed to be fun, puzzling, and for passing time. The creators are an enormous disgrace to the community.

Just way too many ads to play game. A few ads for a free game is no big deal but five to six ad breaks during a puzzle that takes less than three minutes to complete is ridiculous.

Sudoku… with hella ads- it’s literally a number game, why are ads necessary? I’m better off playing on Roblox or with paper and pen..

This last update is terrible. They help you finish the game but they don’t hit all the possible values. It’s a halfway- clear type of thing. Terrible. Either hit all numbers or don’t hit any at all.

The ads won’t load. When they do it takes me to a different page over and over again. There’s a new autocomplete feature that others have also had issues with. It won’t turn off, and should not be default settings. I’d be fine with bugs if I wasn’t bombarded with ads at every turn.

The phone version sucks, it is absolute trash. I cannot see the timer, marks my correct answer incorrect, some are impossible to complete, makes beginner levels way too hard. The pad version is a ton lot better. It shows the timer, gives the right difficulty, is bugless, a smarter version. Fix your ugly trash game on the phone version

The ads are incredibly hard to get out of. Otherwise the game is great.

The game itself is great but the ads were constantly running. I put up with it. As of today, there’s now no way to exit an ad when it comes up. You have to close the game and reopen it in order to move forward. No thanks. Otherwise a 5 star game. Goodbye.
