The free version used to be great. I could track my workouts and look up exercises with bands, med balls, you name it. Now you can’t do anything with the free version. You can still look up different movements by body part, but it’s all so broad/entry level that it’s actually not that helpful for form checks

The website works well, created an account with my Google login and Apple login (so two different accounts), signed up for the trial of premium which went through - then tried to open the app for the first time and faced with "Login failed due to an error". Tested with both Google and Apple accounts, before and after signing up for the trial, two different iOS devices both on fairly up to date versions, after device restart, application force quit, deleting and redownloading, all still showing same error and not allowing me to login. Can't access the app at all with logging in, so it's effectively bricked for me at the moment and will have to continue using the web client :/

This app used to be great. Now since they implemented ads that slow down the app so much it’s barely usable. If you’re willing to pay to remove ads might as well switch to something that isn’t laggy beyond belief with the same benefits.

On the web version of this app, you can get the free version easily. On the iOS you get trapped in a loop where it wants you to start the paid trial even if you hit the prominent “Continue for free” button. Sorry, but that’s either incompetent or dishonest.

It shows already have an account when I’m signing in. Of course I have an account, that’s why I am signing in. It doesn’t even let me sign up.

The photos and videos aren’t working most of the time.

App sieht clunky aus und fühlt sich generell nicht intuitiv an. Das Deutsch scheint mit Google Translator übersetzt worden zu sein (Sonntag bzw Sun. wird mit Sonnig übersetzt, usw.) Videos funktionieren teilweise nicht. Workoutroutinen lassen sich erstellen, aber einzelne Übungen dann nicht raus löschen oder ersetzen, da die Vorgaben zu Geräten ignoriert werden (blöd, wenn man keine Treadmill zuhause hat aber eine Übung Treadmill verlangt) Generell fühlt sich das Workout erstellen nach reinem Mix & Match Würfeln an - die wenigen Angaben die ich zu Beginn mache, können aus meiner Sicht keinen sinnvollen Trainingsplan z.B. für Anfänger erstellen. Wer einfach nur Inspiration für Übungen sucht findet hier was, alle anderen suchen sich besser einen richtigen Fitnesstrainer oder nehmen einen der zahlreichen Trainingspläne, die es auf den entsprechenden Fitnessseiten gratis gibt.

I really enjoy this app, but I was just kicked out of my paid account (subscribed through Apple) with no option to log back in and no contact information for customer support. “App support” just sends you to a twitter account. I was in the middle of a workout. Very frustrating. And now I’m trying to edit my workouts in the webbrowser because the phone app keeps deleting my changes. The website doesn’t let you make edits at all. I tried to get the computer app, but it only compatible with M1 Macs.

My experience with MuscleWiki has been extremely frustrating. I switched to the free option, yet I continued to be charged for a subscription. I emailed support requesting that my membership be cancelled, but the charges kept happening anyway. It eventually got to the point where I had to cancel my credit card just to stop the payments, which is completely unacceptable for any app. This kind of billing behaviour feels very close to a fraudulent practice, especially when users request cancellation and are still charged. Whether intentional or not, it creates a serious lack of trust. The app may have useful content, but the billing system and lack of proper response from support completely ruined the experience. I would strongly recommend that others be very cautious before signing up for any paid features.

❌Update: Now they are charging for features that were once free taking my review back:❌This app is truly amazing and it being free only adds to that statement and I don’t know how this app isn’t more popular. You can select what muscle group to target and what equipment your using and it shows you exercises for it and shows compound exercises and isolated ones. In short it’s an amazing app and definitely recommend.

Every time I’ve tried to open this app it crashes, I’ve already tried installing and reinstalling. Pls help

The app is pushing a paid subscription every 3 seconds of inactivity. Not exaggerating …. I’ve never seen anything like this Delete No thank you, I won’t pay you money for being obnoxiously pushy

It ask for my apple ID and when I give it, it doesn’t sign me in, it just keeps me in the login screen, please fix this issue

Opened app for the first time, it then completely locked up my phone with the don’t allow / allow notifications screen on top of everything else. I could not even restart the phone without having to force restart it. Too bad because this seems like it’d be a helpful app.

It wont let me sign in “due to an error”. So I sadly cant use the app, but the web version is awesome

They give you the option for a promotional cost of $39.99/yr when it is actually $19.99/yr.

I had been using the app for over two years, but with the new update, some exercises have disappeared and no longer work. Whenever I try to open them, the screen freezes, forcing me to restart the app and lose all my progress.

The app recommended I update and once I did it didn’t let me access anything until I made an account. Why on EARTH do I need an account to look at exercises? Oh and the app doesn’t display any exercises making it useless

Every time I try to create an account whether it be on the app or the website, it gives me an error code every time saying it failed to log me in.

I liked it when the examples was not a real person. And it was a digitally animated human body, it was clearer to watch how you should flex every muscle. Bring it back.

I wanted to sign up with my Hotmail and there was no option it’s bizzare can people with no gmail and Apple sign up I think there is a bug:) I hope you can sort out soon

They force you to provide credit card info and claim they will notify you before applying charges. THEY LIE. Was charged the subscription early and with no warning. Get another app - these guys are scammy.

No customer support

This app is a scam, premium features don’t work and they will keep charging you subscription (even after you cancel through iOS), why does the app not have built in feature to cancel is already suspicious. I am currently getting charged a subscription THREE times and support has been useless. Oh and the best part is, deleting your account doesn’t even stop the subscription! In what planet in this solar system would I want to keep paying for a service AFTER I DELETED MY ACCOUNT? Pure SCAM, would not be surprised if reviews are fake and bought.

Clearly overpriced for something that lack so much features. No thanks!

I signed up with Apple ID. It won’t let me log in. I try to use the ‘sign in with Apple ID’ but it says the user name is already in use. I try to rest password; I go all the way through the process and then try to log in and it tell me ‘wrong user ID or password’. I have been trying to resolve for days, whilst paying for premium, yet can’t get a response from app owner.

My IPhone crashed and I couldn’t even restart my phone. It took a while to comeback to normal. It happened when I selected the oblique muscle/body weight.

I’ve sent countless email confirmations all morning trying to enjoy the app fully but I can’t sign in.

Just white loading screen after choosing a muscle!

It’s too laggy that it makes my screen froze for a few seconds,however good variety of gym workout programs/videos.So applause for them!

Tried to use the apple multiple times and never able to even open it. I’ve downloaded it twice and still nothing. Don’t bother with this app.

Please correct this. You have absolutely no benefit upon obtaining this information other then to resell this information. Also, you have no privacy policy. This is a mandatory requirement. I have informed apple of this violation. Followup. You don’t need location data for analytics. I suggest using matomo, umami, or any of the other FOSS analytic apps.

I have downloaded the app and everything fine but when I click on the body part doesn’t showing the exercise. But overall It’s would be great if it’s working.

Only white screen when open the app! What’s wrong with it?!

The app at first was great. But it does not work anymore. White screen at start. All good things come to an end. Like this app. 5 stars if it works.

On the website I can change the setting to women - on the app I cannot

Eventually, this will be a great app. Now, though, is packed with bugs. For instance, there are many ways to search and filter exercises to build your workout — including a muscle/joints body map that I find very useful —, but you’ll spend quite some time in the edit/save workout/exercises loop.

I’ve found that this is helping me as a beginner to choose what exercises I can do with the limited equipment I have at home as a SAHD. Thanks guys!

The only app that lets me take notes on custom exercises. The muscle group categorization also works splendidly. There’s also a demonstration for each workout which is awesome!!

I had a glow up because of this app

Been using MuscleWiki for some time on and off and paying the yearly fee is worth it. Either using routine generator or building your own workouts and track progress is so easy. Highly recommend.

App bem completo e fácil de usar, até agora estou tendo uma ótima experiência com ele.

This is GREAT one thing I would add is if you were able to select which attachments you have great for No Gym great knowledge so you have more confidence for a Gym stop letting not knowing how to do workouts. Let’s get Healthy

For a free app this is rlly good helped me work out much better

EDIT: fixed now with latest iOS update. There’s a lot more ads than when I used it last though, gross. With the latest update the app crashes immediately on open. It was such a good app too until this bug. Hopefully they can fix it soon

I updated the app and it stopped working altogether. Please can you check if theres any bug.

Absolutely love this app 10/10 but after the new update the app just refuses to open and crashes every time

The last update - at least for iOS, doesn't allow me to finish an open training. My morning training is still running 7 hours later. 😭
