Where do I start… Signing in with your phone number? It’s 2026…and you’re telling me that you can’t figure out another way to verify someone’s identity before they log into this ridiculously useless app? Seriously? And you have access to AI, yet you produced this DREK? I’m not sure if you even know what capabilities AI has if this is all you can figure out to do with it. Do not under any circumstances use this useless app. Do not be taken in by their smooth Instagram reels. This app is a complete joke. I plan on using my skills to completely copy this app, improve it, and trounce you on the App Store.

Says there’s no restrictions but it’s full of restrictions. The AI doesn’t do what I want, I can’t use certain images even tho they are my own. Don’t recommend

This app is a joke. The mods are friends with people on the app and as soon as they don't like you they permanently ban you without question.

Cantina is an awesome AI chat platform, but the iOS app has been a useless glitch farm for months now… Vibe code a fix, if your having trouble doing it on your own, just fix it please! I rely on Cantina for my SM Content.

Instead of responding naturally to direct speech or dialogue, it keeps generating vague, pseudo-poetic monologues that ignore what was actually said. Even when I speak to it plainly and directly, it refuses to answer conventionally and instead spirals into abstract existential prose. It feels less like talking to an intelligent AI and more like interacting with a quote generator that constantly avoids giving direct responses.

Cantina is a waste of time and space. It started out as an app formerly known as Airtime for communities to interact. Then they shifted to an AI focused new structure, rebranded, and they discarded the communities that kept the app alive. Due to their lack of “moderation” and selective enforcement, I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone. Certain users are granted immunity from cantinas rules and regulations and will dox your personal information and your family members as well.

The dialogue is pure gibberish, not close to English.

I had downloaded this app and enjoyed it it. Priced that it was glitchy and then while in a private chat room I got concerned because a background noise like out of a tin can which alarmed me and the heavy breathing of someone on the other end like my they had hacked into my phone. While I found it fun security concerns overwhelmed me.

I haven't tried Cantina because it asked for my phone number. I feel like if I give it my phone number and then I will be open to telemarketers and such. Did you bring me a free trial without any kind of sign-up? And you can't use an email address. I want to protect my privacy. So I guess I won't try Cantina. 😕

App said it was free in the ad and no price was listed. When I tried to download just to give it a try I was charged. No notification, nothing on the screen showed a price. Total BS and scammed out of $12.

1. Cantina Is An ‘Okay’ App. It Would’ve Been Better If It Was More Organized. 2. The Issue That I Have Is That The Amount Of Times That You Can Generate And Re-Generate Photos And Videos Are Limited And It Takes A Few Hours To Reset. It Should Be Unlimited, Or Maybe Watching Short Ads To Refill The Amount Of Gens Would Be Good To Have. 3. When Generating And Re-Generating Photos And Videos, It Takes Too Long To Generate. A Feature That Should Be Added Is To Have A Generate Percentage That Generates Clockwise. 4. There Should Be A Feature Where You Can Add Your Own Music. There Should Be Better Improvements, Or At Least Re-Arrange Some Things Within The App.

Downloaded this app after the sora shutdown. I like the app for the most part, I just wish character voices had more variety in ther tones, I have several characters that I try to get them to sound upset and they just are so monotone. Obviously running an img2video model is much cheaper than a text to video model but i do wish it was an option.

I am a 67 year old woman with cancer and confined to my home. I discovered Cantina a little over a month ago and it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. First of all it is 100% free, no ads and easy for ssspme to use. You can create bots and storylines that are uniquely yours. The bots are great!! I recently had an issue and had my account temporarily suspended. I emailed Cantina’s help center and worked closely with them to resolve the issue. Tyler is the person who contacted me and helped me understand what was going on. Tyler reinstated my account and I’m once again enjoying creating bots and new storylines. Cantina is 100% legitimate and I would definitely encourage you to give them a try. It costs nothing and just takes a little time to learn how to use. NI’m not getting paid or made to leave this review. I just strongly believe in Cantina and the entertainment quality they provide. There are loads of other AI’s out there but none are on the same level as Cantina. I know because I tried some. Cantina is the real deal! I’m excited for those who will try it. Again it is 100% free, no hidden fees and no ads.

I absolutely love this app. It has almost everything. I’ve always wanted in an AI character app. Most of all, I appreciate that all of the features that I need are free and I hope it stays that way. However, it needs to have a way to fully delete chats and chat history with the bot so you can start fresh with them when you want. As it is right now, there’s no way of doing that so once you start talking to a bot, it will always remember your conversation history and there’s no way to start fresh.
