After the app update, human detection link is not working. The camera is doing its job just fine, marking the human detection however the app crashes when the human detection tab is clicked which earlier used to take us directly to the timeline where human detection was captured. Now have to play the entire video clip to view the human detection. This is only happening with newer models which i have 3; however older model is still working fine which i have 1. Kindly fix the bug in your app as it completely crashes & shuts down when clicked on the human detection tab and shows a network error prompt.

i turn off night vision ir lights but it is still greyscale. also the app should learn a bit from tapo camera app as some text are not spaced correctly or even buttons in weird places, like the free trial button. the interface is a little out of place and definitely can be improved. so far remote streaming via their official proxy server is also smooth, where tapo cameras can often lag.

This app is an absolute disaster when it comes to connecting to Wi-Fi. It consistently fails to detect the Wi-Fi signal, making the entire setup process a nightmare. To make matters worse, the app’s instructions for connecting to the product are completely wrong. It bizarrely insists on using a LAN cable to connect the product, despite the fact that the product has no LAN port whatsoever! This is a clear sign of a company that has utterly failed in delivering a functional app and reliable user experience. Avoid at all costs.

I have this for few months now, it is very slow, 99% of the time it can’t connect when someone ring or it is connecting it is too late. By the time you want to answer, it have to unlock then connect. This is very to slooooooow!. The record timeline is very annoying when you look for something . I used the to have a ring video doorbell the app is so much better and very fast to connect. In the positive, the solar recharge and the local ssd is great. But for me that’s it.

This is maybe my first review ever on app store. This worst app I have ever seen n used. There is no option of human or vehicle view when we playback. If we have to see any person movement in night we have to see whole footage. There is no motion detection in app. There is option of 10 secs back in playback but no option to forward, if we have to forward 5-10 secs we have to do manually. When anyone launches any app they try to give more options than other available apps. All these easy to use options r available in all other apps. There is a problem in hilook software otherwise I would never use this app. Zero star.

Avoid Ezviz – Years of Glitches & No Fix from Support

I have been using multiple Ezviz cameras since 2019, and every single one has had the same major issues, no matter the model, SD card, or location. The Main Problems: •Constant glitching in both live view and recordings, especially when motion is detected. •Playback is unreliable, as the glitches are permanently embedded in recordings. •9 out of 10 times, the camera says “offline” when trying to view it back, despite having a top-tier internet connection. •The same issue happens with different cameras, different Wi-Fi routers, and even in different houses, proving that the problem is with Ezviz itself. What I’ve Tried (With No Fix): •Brand-new SanDisk High Endurance SD cards (multiple times). •Resetting the cameras, reinstalling the app, and testing different settings (resolution, motion sensitivity, etc.). •Using different power adapters to rule out power issues. •Testing Ezviz cloud storage instead of SD cards – still the same problem. •Switching between multiple Wi-Fi networks and locations – same issue every time. Ezviz Support is Useless I have contacted Ezviz support multiple times, and they have never provided a real solution. They only suggest the same basic troubleshooting steps, even though I’ve already tried them all. Final Verdict – Do NOT Buy Ezviz Cameras These cameras are completely unreliable for security purposes. If you need a camera that actually works when it matters, avoid Ezviz and go for a more stable brand like Reolink, Eufy, or TP-Link Tapo. I will never buy Ezviz again, and I strongly advise others to do the same

Every time I updated the app and it will send me 5+ notifications at the same time. So fed up on keep re-downloading the app and this time still got two same notifications after deleting and re-downloading the app. And no live online support.

EN REVANCHE : l’application est catastrophique… La traduction de l’application semble avoir été faite à la va-vite (certaines tournures de phrases ne semblent même pas correctes). Mais là n’est pas le problème : il y’a de grosses incohérences. Par exemple, si vous possédez des caméras extérieurs et que vous voulez que la sirène sonore intégrée retentisse lorsqu’un individu passe dans le champs de la caméra quand elle est armée et bien sachez que la sirène sonore retentira également lorsque vous passerez dans le champs de la camera APRÈS avoir pourtant désarmé le système. Seule solution trouvée : une fois le système désarmé, il faut aller dans les réglages de la caméra pour mettre la sirène sur « son coupé ». Chronophage et surtout pas normal. Ensuite, bien que la détection soit activée sur « forme humaine » la caméra enregistre même quand une poussière passe devant le champ. Résultat : je me retrouve avec des kilomètres de vidéos chaque matin enregistrées sur la carte mémoire de la caméra. Très peu de possibilités de réglages, pas les mêmes fonctions entre les caméras intérieures et extérieures. Ça fait vraiment application cheap….

ネットワークに繋がらない。 何度も試してもダメ! 問い合わせなど全て英語 、日本語対応ができないなら、日本でサービスのやめたらいいのに、いい勉強になりました。室内と野外タイプ2台ともネットワーク繋がらず、諦めました。 高額になるけど監視カメラはやはり国内メーカーがいいと感じました。

問題が起きたのでチャットでサポートしてもらおうと思ったが、毎回毎回勝手にチャットが切れていて全く問題解決にならない。しかもバージョンをアップデートしてくださいと言われてバージョンを言われたが、そんなバージョンは存在してない。一体いつなったらこの問題を解決するのでしょうかお金の無駄だったということでしょうか買うときはしっかりカスタマサポートが電話で通じるところを選んだほうがいいと思います。

LC3とC3Wが監視状態なのに表示が勝手に監視一時停止状態になっている事が有る(実際は監視されている) バグなので早急に修正して下さい SDカードを選択しているのに強制的にcloudに選択が切り替わっていたりバグが多過ぎます あと映像が途切れ途切れになるのもバグでしょうか? これもバグなら修正して下さい 対応機種が増えて更にバージョンアップする毎にバグも増えていって不安定な動作になるバグアプリです

The app is functional, takes a while to connect and show clips when you click on them compared with a ring, which is near instant. Setting up the device was quite simple, notifications can be a bit slow (sometimes the person has already walked past). Settings are easy and simple to change. One thing I don’t understand is why you can’t save clips, just select a clip and save it to your phone, instead you have to select ‘record’ which doesn’t record the whole thing because the button isn’t selectable until the video starts playing, and then the time stamp also doesn’t appear instantly either. Not sure why, when storing locally, the videos lose the thumbnails after a week? I could understand the event view disappearing if you’re using the cloud storage, but this is being stored locally. I know the thumbnails are still there as they have them when you view on PC, so not sure why the thumbnails are removed after a week? Makes it difficult to find a recording in the past. Especially strange as they’ve added a ‘timeline’ feature at some point, but none have any thumbnails.

最初の登録の時にアップルIDかメールアドレスかの選択で結局両方入れてしまったみたいで、で、その後、自室のMacの Messageにスパム来ました。Macにスパム来たの初めてです。で、カメラの方ですけど、何度か初期化する中で、カメラの中の自分のライブラリーなのにカメラの底についてるパスワード入れたのに、アクセス権がありません、とか出て。。あ〜、初期化しても全部中国からコントロールされてるんだな〜、と。カメラから電源アダプター抜いて使うの辞めました。

Before this app was updated, I can manage to talk to my family instantly using cctv. But right after updating this app, some features like up/down/left/right button was gone. And I couldn't talk to them directly using the cctv compare previously.

There are so many aspects to this device that make it a headache. The online and in-app explanatory text is so badly written it's laughable. The ringer that you plug into the wall goes offline so often the doorbell rarely actually rings when it's supposed to (it isn't powerful enough). The app interface often seems like a hall of mirrors side show; you're never sure how things inter-connect, interface, and ... well, how the thing actually WORKS. The hardware (doorbell) seems well built but the software that controls it seems confused and therefore confusing. This device could have been so simple had they actually given it some thought. The people working for this company don't know how to make a product usable. It may actually work under exact situations, but when little things go wrong you'll be fiddling with it (the app and the hardware) to get it working again. Then it'll stop working again! Too many engineers working at this company. They have a mentality limited to severe logically-based thought loops. They can't think outside that box. Don't buy or use this product! (I forgot to mention: they want to spy on you bigtime--if you'll let them, and they'd really like you to use their expensive cloud service. A sham. Don't fall for it. I threw away the doorbell and deleted the app.

I was told on a SIM card to clear storage memory // go to setting storage :clear /app but it doesn’t it is always updating and throws me off why change it when it’s fine ? /Now it’s cost me €103 home secure to come out to fix and it’s telling me to replace card I bought for it even though photos cleared this is not showing vthat. We notice something was up clitching not recording we have two problems with playback 10:33 we had attempted break in while watching play back 10:33 normal,speed clitch jump from 10:33 to 10:38 🤷‍♂️tried both server and sd card same clitch then tried speeding up to x 4 we seen the footage but couldn’t record it as it was at x4 now the footage completely disappeared Then last night we had a break in at 02:34 recordings on both cloud and sd card only showing recordings 00:01 to 01:08 then nothing till 06:36 what the hell 8 month old ptz and fix bullet camera devices an failing to provide a services that I pay each month is not acceptable Let say £88k of stock missing Your update in December has ruin everything what ever it is sort it or reverse the update prior to Decembers update I’ve but these cameras off line and just bought hik vision insurance company has advise us to do as they they have a lot of customers with ezviz product failing I will not remove this review in till you sort something out

Recording in 1 hour clips instead of only when there’s motion!!!

Since the last update in December 2022 the 3 cameras I have are only recording in hour blocks throughout the day but not recording at all at night!! No short burst clips only when there are movements in the day time but hour long recordings even on the lowest motion detection. It’s 1 hour blocks whether there’s motion or not!! The whole point in me having this camera & paying the subscription is to save me trawling through hours of footage looking for the few clips that I really need to help me ensure the safety of someone!!! Would appreciate if you could rectify this issue with your next update! If not I’ll be cancelling my subscription & finding a better service elsewhere. I have already tried changing the motion detection in the settings & it’s still the same so the issue is at EZVIZ’s end. Why it’s not recording at night time as soon as the lights go out & the IR light is on makes no sense either! There is significant motion & movement in the room & none of it is picked up at all. I’ve tried all the usual resetting things & changing settings in the cameras but both have suddenly started this after the last update so it can only be caused by the update or something at EZVIZ end. Please can this be rectified as it’s imperative that I have working cameras for the safety of a person in my household?

Cameras are good quality build and picture quality is as good as more expensive brands. However, the one main drawback is the app itself. It's like it was developed by fourth graders. Every single update gets worse. They keep adding more and more useless features. How about the ability to set multiple times for schedules and be able to turn off the ones we don't won't to use this week. For people who need different times each week without having to delete them all and reset schedules for each camera. Very buggy app and seems as if they are more worried about all the useless features versus stabilizing the app. Freezes up on both my iPhone and wife's samsung, so it's not a phone issue. Overall just a poorly designed app that is light years behind nest or other top brands as far as app development. Please hire real qualified and experienced developers and get this app to par or I'll be switching out the ezviz cams for a brand with an app I can depend on... **UPDATE** Another update and the app itself still has many flaws. If you leave the app open in the background, and go back into it later on, it's frozen up. Does nothing. I have to close it out and stop it from running in the background by swiping it away and then reload the app and it's fine. Has been happening ever since the last update. As I said in my original rating, the EZVIZ app seems to have problems after each update. Eventually those problems are solved in an update, however, New problems arrive. Doesn't appear that much interest in keeping the app simple and stable is of any concern to any of the developers. If I didn't already have numerous EZVIZ cameras whereas I have to use this app, I'd delete it in a New York minute.

Can’t play recorded videos. Says no video all the time. Updated 11 March: This is probably one of the worst customer services that I have ever encountered. Calls were unanswered and emails are taking forever to reply and when they do reply, they gave not helpful replies to drag the time. Even when we asked to call to speed up so that we can have the issue sorted, they never did. Please stay away from this brand. It’s a waste of money, almost felt like we got scammed.

On iPad: no wifi or network when trying to log in. On iPhone, camera settings page is completely blank opther than a number of ON/OFF switches (have no idea what they do because the page is blank) DB1 Video Doorbell no longer able to access any videos from the SD card for any day from calendar.

I have a big problem with this app and the whole system. It seems that you need a constant internet connection in order to use the app and access the camera view and the content saved to your SD card locally. Even the cameras cannot be viewed using the official app without an active internet connection. This is really bad as the cameras are on the local area network, which is completely separate from the internet. Please give us the option to access the cameras (via the app), using the local area network, instead of requiring access to the WAN(internet). I don’t always have internet access via my router, and this means I cannot use your app to access the system. I can still view the RTSP stream using third party software, but not using the official ezviz app. This needs to be sorted, because if anyone loses their internet, they would lose access to the cameras if they are only using the ezviz app. I need an app that works on the LAN without a constant internet connection, as I cannot always get a connection, but the LAN is always available. Please Add LAN SUPPORT.

Bought the cam less than 1 year 1. With “Auto detect motion” is on, it would turn to back every few minutes, which creates a lot of chance that any unintended motion / activities cannot be captured because of this; reported to CS but no help 2. Few months ago, The cam used to stuck at one position, (usually the back of cam, which is only the wall ☹️) when “Auto detect motion” is on; (I) on first 2 weeks, can use App to manually adjust the cam tilt / angle (II) later weeks, the cam is stuck and App is useless except pressing the “Restart” device button 3. Recent few weeks, the cam went offline frequently, need manually unplug the cam. (Confirmed the Wi-Fi network is healthy and online as other smart home devices are running in place without interruptions) 4. Tried to “Reset” the cam, but problems persists, both camera stuck / not responding to App with motion detect on after “random” durations; Cameta offline frequently and not able to be discovered issues etc.

I’ve been dealing with ezviz tech support over the last two plus weeks, with a chime issue, whereby the DB1 no longer activates the chime when the the button is pressed, its a fault with the DB1, it’s taking on average 3 days to reply back on every step, it’s terrible. It either a firmware issue following a recent update or faulty device, but we are going in circles..!!!!

I purchased ez360 in Thailand. got it home but lost it in my home. When in Thailand the guy set it up with wrong email Since finding the cam. i have spent days trying to set it up but keeps coming up already added to too this other email i have try too reset many times but no luck I have sent many emails no reply . Don’t Waste Your Money Buying there Products It seems once they have your money they could care less about you. Thanks for the non service Again Thinking of Buying EZVIZ Products. I woke up this morning and tried to look at the alerts, became aware there had been an update and my iPhone hung. After restarting, I could not view the alerts stating the image was encrypted and I needed to enter the password. I was unsuccessful in entering the password although it was correct. I could not see the cameras as it said none were installed. I tried to reinstall a camera and get the message “camera installed” but when back at the main screen it says not cameras installed. It used to work fine before the upgrade

App intermittently logs out

Not as stable as I had hoped. I have no idea why the app seems to periodically log out. This is an unfortunate situation because you will believe that all is well and the doorbell is monitoring and will record when motion is sensed or you get an alert when someone rings but you won’t. I submitted this question via the app and I haven’t received an answer as yet. My other devices or apps do not log out so I know it’s not a fault with my internet or data plan. Please fix it! I’m a little surprised at the ‘textbook’ response to my concern. Surely I am aware that in order to use the app, I need to sign in, open it, and keep it running in the background. This isn’t the first video doorbell or security notification app I am using. I have done all of this. The issue is after signing into the app and letting it run in the background, the app for no apparent reason signs out and then I have to enter my password again to sign in. This is a little frustrating because I miss instances when someone rings my doorbell and I’m not home, someone comes up to my door or gets within the range I have defined. I am not able to respond on time if I have to sign in my password each time the doorbell rings. I will contact the email address as indicated for further assistance.

Da quando l’app è stata aggiornata non è chiaro se, a fronte di una disconnessione del device, ci sono problemi lato app, lato piattaforma o lato device. Fatto sta che una centralina A1 e una C2C sono diventati inutili poiché dopo una disconnessione accidentale non c’è più stato verso a riconnetterli alla mia rete wifi. In più resettandoli è stata la fine. Ora i due dispositivi non solo non si riconnettono ma non vengono riconosciuti in fase di registrazione sulla loro piattaforma. Ho mandato 3 mail al supporto (quelle autogenerate dall’app in caso di problemi) e: 1 è tornata indietro per mailbox piena!!! Le altre due sono cadute nel vuoto. Ho una decina di vs dispositivi e spero solo che non cadano come mosche. Aiutate gli utenti a risolvere.

After the latest App update, my cameras are mostly shown offline. Even if by chance one of them shows up online and we tap it to view the video it says Network Unstable. We use the Google Wifi and ensure good connection to the EZVIZ Camera. We also tried alternatively setting each of these cameras as a Priority Device on the Google Wifi Network but does not help. All was working fine before the latest update as we have not made any change on our side.

Keeps forgetting password

The functionality of this app are good, but it keeps forgetting the password (on my phone and my wife's phone). If you read the reviews online, many people experience this. This makes this app and the doorbell I use with it completely useless: every time some one rings the bell, I first have to give in the password before being able to answer, making my response to late... How hard can it be to just make the app remember a password?

App con tante limitazioni, lenta ad aprirsi, pesante e con poche personalizzazione per l’utente. Le anteprime immagine non possono essere riposizionate a piacimento. Come vengono istallare così restano. Per cui o decidete prima o vi accontentate della casualità. Se date in condivisione una cam a qualcuno avrete perennemente uno striscione che coprire mezza foto. Una cosa più discreta no? Anche il più sfigato dei sw cinesi è meglio e indica chi le sta guardando in un dato momento. Non perdete tempo con il SUPPORTO PERCHÉ’ E’ INESISTENTE. Non credete alla compatibilità con Alexa perché le C3W Night Vision Color, ultime nate ho quelle, perché non funzionano con i device con display. Echo Show 5 e Spot. Continuano a dare sempre la stessa risposta. Se cercate video sorveglianza seria rivolgetevi altrove io ho solo buttato via un sacco di soldi visto che ne ho prese 6 di C3W. Vergognosi

I’ve got 3 camera from Ezviz and three of them can’t view the video history and it’s keep loading for 3 days now. It is useless if user can’t view the video history. I understand that the company focus too much on Cloudplay since u can make the money out of it but please do not left the users behind by not letting us viewing the video history in our memory card. Please fix!!!

Crashing update

Most recent update crashes while trying to view the live feed or any videos. Please fix ASAP! EDIT: The current workaround I found that works is to log out of your account and then sign back in. That stopped the crashing on my phone.

Il sistema di video sorveglianza è ottimo, ma l’app è disastrosa: nove volte su dieci non riesco a vedere i filmati perché mi dice che la rete è instabile (assolutamente falso, non mi da problemi con nessun’altra applicazione) oppure non in linea, la visione dei filmati non in live si blocca di continuo e manca la fondamentale funzione “avanti veloce” che invece è presente riproducendo i filmati in tv. Inoltre le notifiche sono inutili in quanto funzionano solo se sei all’interno dell’applicazione. Insomma, mi auguro che gli sviluppatori sistemino quest’app praticamente inutile perché il sistema in se non è affatto male. Aggiornamento dopo un mese di utilizzo: Ora non funziona proprio più niente. Secondo l’app le telecamere sono sempre “non in linea”. Ovviamente le telecamere non hanno nessun problema, quest’applicazione invece ne ha parecchi. Disinstallerò a breve, è solo uno spreco di spazio sul mio iPhone. Vergognosa.

Works fine overall, but there’s no option to control the detection zone. I keep receiving notifications whenever my neighbours move around on their driveway, even though the camera should only be monitoring the front door area. The app is also a bit slow, as it takes some time for the video feed to load after opening a notification.

When I open the app it take so much time to show the footage and also go to the online it take so much time in buffering The process take minimum 1 minute or more. So many time one off the cameras can’t open and didn’t show the video and stop buffering automatically and show the notification that can’t open please retry Suppose When I am in hurry and check the cameras how can I do this properly

I’m on my second doorbell camera as the first one started letting in water after being damaged during renovations. The new one is a significant upgrade with really clear and crisp images. It is easy to install and maintain and gives top class service.

I loved these cameras and the app. It did have subscription services that I did not want and had no need to pay for. These services weren’t pushed on me and didn’t affect how I used the support pages or updated my settings. But there was an update recently that changed all that. Now a huge banner across the screen for EZVIZ services dominates the screen of my cellphone as I try and watch my live feed and the sheer size of these new subscription-based buttons make those camera feeds much smaller. It’s like ransomware. They may not be preventing me from using the camera’s exclusive app, but they are making it unbearable to use it “for free”. I’m pretty sure the next update will contain ads. Why would a company need to make money by getting more customers by offering them a really great program when they can squeeze more and more money out of the customers they already have? No the best business model in my opinion. I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on cameras to to have to go buy different ones. Now that the proprietary cellphone charger connector issue has be settled, maybe proprietary apps for cameras can be next? I’d keep the EZVIZ cameras and find an open-source app that doesn’t force me to pay a subscription fee to use it or accidentally tap an ad or watch a 10 sec video. I love your cameras, EZVIZ, but I’m not storing my video feeds on a server in China.

Une appli pleine de fonction qu’il est dommage de découvrir seul…. un petit didacticiel serait bien venu / les caméras on une belle qualité d’image mon parc de produits s’est étoffé petit à petit et parfois les plus anciennes ou les filaires ne redémarre pas seules après une coupures de courant ou une rupture wifi.. celles à batterie et sur panneaux solaire fonctionnent très bien avec une autonomie illimitée si soleil. faire attention à la Compatibilite des différents panneaux solaires dédiés au type de caméra / a part ça rapport qualité prix très honnête et si vous avez un signal wifi fort et une box qui sépare bien les différentes fréquences l’apairage est très facile par contre si comme moi vous devez utilisez un point d’accès extérieur débrouillez vous pour le mètre en répéteur sur le 2.4 GHz mais décalée sur une bande dédié écart de 20 GHz au moins pour éviter les conflits sinon RAS

I have never seen a CCTV camera until now that has such better quality, such a good experience, and such excellent performance. I’m adamant that this is the camera you should install, and if not, then don’t install any at all. I’ve never installed any other camera besides this one. It’s such an amazing camera, but unfortunately, it’s been banned in India, which I find very unfortunate. Thank you.

App is stable and no bugs. Setup is simple and straightforward. However I wish there is an option for the ep3x pro where if someone presses the doorbell to ring, it comes in as a “someone is ringing the doorbell” notification instead of a phone call, as the phone call covers the whole screen of my phone. If I disable the “answer doorbell call” option, there is no notification that comes in that someone is ringing the door. The current work around is just to rely on the “AI Human detection” notification.
