I have been using this app for quite a while and really like it. But after the recent update, duplicating transactions feels less convenient. Previously, copying a transaction was straightforward - i could just copy a transaction and edit directly before posting. Now I have to choose between “copy with today’s date” or “copy with date of entry,” which adds extra steps. Would it be possible to remove this? It feels unnecessary and a bit frustrating when I have many expenses to duplicate.

Update - I was forced to find another app because of the changes with entering transactions and incorrect balance calculations. Trans were essentially “locked” and that you couldn’t adjust them. I no longer use this app and have found a similar one that that works better. I paid for the full version and I like it enough to move from another app I'd been using for 3+ years. There are a few improvements I would strongly recommend to make it better and more user friendly. 1) The repeat setting should allow user to provide an end date. Otherwise, the transaction will be entered automatically and will have to be deleted manually. The only way to stop is probably to delete there repeat setting but I don't know if that deletes the transactions already entered and I don't want to have to go back to re-enter everything. 2) It automatically defaults to the transaction tab and I want to be able to set my default is when I open the app. Example, I really love seeing what my balance is after entering the transaction so I'm always navigating to the Accounts tab and a specific account. 3) Would love to see a "Bills" tab so I can keep track of when my bills are due easily and easily create transactions. Not looking for the ability to actually pay my bills here as that integration has never been reliable with ANY app due to the securities from the financial institutions. Just looking for a way to enter my bills within the app only. 4) Integrate Dropbox as a backup option. Otherwise, this is a very solid app which I'll continue to use. Thanks.

Hi, I’m a long time premium user, I like your all. There have been some big errors would like to request for an update to your ‘Monthly’ budget calculation for the total spending of the month. For some reason the monthly budget total spend reflects all spendings including those that are not budgeted. This is not aligned with the weekly and yearly spend, and budgeting users only want to know how much I spend according the items which they have budgeted, not everything. Please see below screenshot. Please help to amend! Thanks! New budget (May 2023) which includes all items included the non-budgeted categories (please remove the non-budgeted categories from the total tabulation): Previous budget (February 2023) where only budgeted categories are included in total tabulation. This is what is expected and what good looks like. Weekly budget (week ending 4th June) where is it good, as the total tabulated only counts the budgeted category:

Having spent a great deal of time and effort customising my accounts etc. and inputting some initial transactions, I then, as I thought, successfully Saved this info. On re-entering the app. I was, apparently, expected to treasure-hunt for my stored info in iCloud or Files or wherever but I was unsuccessful in my attempts to do this. I am now unwilling to re-input all my lost information. I may be wrong in my assumption that an app should store and restore my information info. automatically for me as a matter of course and without any need for me to search & provide any necessary links to links to achieve this! My search for an appropriate replacement for Acemoney continues.

This is the best expense manager app hands down! The ability to have custom categories lets me enter and organize my expenses my way. The charts and graphs are incredibly useful in providing me insights on my expense trends. Its very intuitive and user friendly. It also makes periodic backup to icloud so if something happens to the device then data can be restored. Been using it since 2020 and no way i am moving away. The only thing i crave for is the online interface to access the data, and syncing between multiple devices. I would pay premium for multiple device support. Developers, if you are reading please consider.

Great app! I use it every day and find it very useful. That said, there are a few features that would make it even better: ~ I wish transactions could be split into multiple categories instead of being locked to just one. ~ When opening a specific account, it would be more convenient if it defaulted to the current day instead of the end of the month. ~ I really like being able to see future recurring transactions—it helps me know where I’ll be at month’s end. I know there’s a recurring transaction setting I can turn on, but it only projects one month ahead. I’ve even gone so far as to manually enter transactions out through the end of 2026 just so I can plan ahead. It would be a huge help if the app could project 6–12 months or more automatically. ~ It would be great if the app could integrate with tools like Zapier. For example, I’d love to have transactions automatically synced into Google Sheets in real time. Exporting to Excel works, but I don’t use Excel, and exporting only helps with past data, not ongoing budgeting. Since I understand bank connections aren’t available for security reasons, this kind of integration would cut down on duplicate manual entry for both personal and business use. ~Last, is that I wish that info could automatically sync to my wife’s phone on the app. It would be very helpful for both of us to be able to be logged into the same account in the app and both update transactions and have it automatically update on the others phone. Overall, this app is excellent and a daily essential for me. I’ve been using this app consistently for almost 5 years now and I believe these improvements would make it even more powerful!

Has all the essential features and some more, without excessive visual information. Paid version is well worthy and added features are very welcome for long term use. I have used for a few years now and it’s the only one I recommend.

First of all thank you so much for fixing the bugs so fast. I have to say again and again that this is the only app that have cleanest and dedicated transfer view for moving money between my accounts. I do a lot of transfers between accounts like topping up my ewallets, withdrawals, etc and this is the only app that recorded those dual transactions in one clean entry, without cluttering my expense views. Thank you so much. Been using this for almost 10 years i guess, since I was a teenager and now a mommy of three. 🫶🏻

Must have app. You can easily see where your money is going and it’s not complicated in use also.

I didn’t want to create a recurring expense to keep track of my income, expenses, and investments. I also preferred a more manual approach due to security concerns, so the Money Manager app fit like a glove for me. Easy to use, flexible (ability to access via the PC), and it doesn’t require me to spend extra money each month, not knowing when the price will go up. Best bang for your buck!

This is one of the best ever app. I am using it for more than an year. I would like to give a high recommendation to those who are looking for the Money Mgr app and I would like recommend to go for the paid version. If you want to add too many accounts because I got totally benefited once Iending amount to the others and I can add them and I can have a track on it. Such a wonderful app. I have Neverused in iOS application, but only one feature I am missing out is like I’m unable to use the shortcuts options for this app. I would like to recommend to add such a future. If I get a debit message it should be automatically feeded in that app but I like that paste option which is an alternative one

There’s lots to like about this app. The only issue is with syncing; rather the lack thereof. In order to sync your data from one device to another; this is what you must do: 1. Backup to iCloud. 2. On the other device, install that backup. 3. Quit and restart the other device to install the backup. This effectively syncs to that point in time. I know nothing about programming but I don’t understand why there is no automatic syncing like other apps because there is iCloud access. Other than this, I do like the app and will continue using it.

I would like to request to add below feature. 1. In the stats, allow me to choose the expense category to show in the pie chart as well as in the table below. Also calculate the % as per the choosen expense category only. 2. For Monthly Budget, please give option to carry forward the balance amount to the next month. And validity of the configured monthly budget. Carry forward also must be forwarded till the configured validity period only. I hope the developer will consider these important feature will implement into the App. Thank you

I’ve tried numerous apps and all lack simplicity but still enough functionality. This app has it all. Easily manage multiple currencies, categories, simple reports and export data to laptop. Really recommend for everyone.

Have been using Money Manager app for a while now, but recently just bought the premium! would like to suggest a feature to apply us to split a transaction into multiple categories (eg i paid for the bill but it’s 50% under my Food category and 50% under Family category) as currently i have to repeatedly add a few transactions to do this splitting. Love the work that is done so far though! :) thank you

I am using this since last 5 years. It has improved a lot. And it has all the features needed to keep my personal finance record. I highly recommend it if you are looking for one. I used to use free version but to get rid of ads during record keeping, I purchased premium one. Worth it!!!

I have been using MoneyManger for 4 years - data entry is simple & convenient. MM is versatile and it allows me to run & track multiple accounts. The product allows for simple backups and PC synching and has been totally reliable. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the best personal finance app I’ve ever come across and I’ve tried quite a few. This continues to blow my mind with how much is covered in one app The only thing that would make it better from an accessibility standpoint is that there are no noises or haptics when hitting the buttons in the app. When you have loads of categories like I do, the current UI can slow down your input as the entry section of things, such as the categories or the calculator gets a bit squished. Don’t would be good to have some kind of haptic options

When you setup repeat setting you can see your repeat payments each month even if a transfer to another account. When you choose installments with transfer to another account (ie loan) this isn’t showing in repeat settings or when you view transaction graphs and history so you can’t budget correctly.

Go for the paid version of the app. It is worth it. It has helped me managing my expenses and it has made me realize how I use my money. The stats graph lets you see how you spend your money and now I can organize my monthly budget better. You can add all your accounts and see how your savings go, also the balance of your credit cards can be added. Moreover, it has a feature to setup monthly payments which helped me see how much I need for my needs. With the paid app you can see a spread sheet on your PC. I use the app everyday and I record every single transaction I do.

Estremamente comoda per tenere sotto controllo i costi. Graficamente credo sia perfetta, la suddivisione dei movimenti per giorno è estremamente comoda, l’inserimento dei movimenti avviene molto rapidamente, il report a torta per categoria è comodissimo. Sarebbe bello sapere come funziona il comando rapido, o in generale la copia degli sms, perché se ho capito bene può associare solo il conto e l’importo in automatico, mentre la categoria non so dove la prenda. Un’altra cosa comoda sarebbe avere la possibilità di allegare un’immagine al movimento copiando dagli appunti, ho fatto un comando rapido per salvarmi l’immagine degli scontrini e ogni volta devo salvarli in galleria e poi cancellarli Inoltre sarebbe comodo poter impostare una notifica per i pagamenti ricorrenti, ormai sono talmente tanti che è difficile ricordarselo tutti Sarebbe davvero il top(ma capisco che sia una cosa complicata) se ci fosse il tracciamento degli investimenti, al momento utilizzo una app separata ma avere tutto insieme sarebbe più comodo

I have tried a lot of apps to control finances, this is the simplest, objective and organized ever!

I downloaded the free version 3-4 months ago and quickly realized I had too many accounts/cards to use the free version. As I liked what I was seeing and it was a highly recommended app, I just went ahead and got the paid ad free version. I have really loved this app! I have a lot of miscellaneous credit cards for different benefits/cashback and I sometimes am overwhelmed keeping track of the balancing and all that especially considering there are some I use a lot less than others. I also worry about not catching fraud since I’m not always in my accounts. I track my spending right away with the app (unless I’m being lazy) and then every so often I go take a look at balances and compare them to my accounts, make payments, etc. I don’t really have/use a budget at this time, but I really appreciate that I am getting a log of how much money I’ve been spending and towards what as I start to plan for different life changes and maybe eventually use it to guide my budgeting. Would completely recommend! I think if I had to point any “downfall” out it would just be that sometimes I wish I could use another device like my iPad or even a computer with the same data. Of course I can get the app on my iPad but it would be a manual process to get the data off my phone into my iPad and then I’d have to do it again to get it back on phone which isn’t worth it. BUT it hasn’t truly been a problem and I can understand why it is not a part of this app.

Been using this apps for more than 3 years. The interface is simple to navigate and easy to understand. Honestly you don’t have to purchase the Premium Version since the free version has all the features that you need to track your spending and manage your finance. But I just purchase this version to support the developer because they really deserve it !!

I’ve tried free apps, Apple Numbers, and Google Sheets—but they’re clunky, overbuilt, and not made for quick use on my iPhone. Money Manager is different. It’s clean, intuitive, and genuinely useful. I use it to record income and expenses on the fly for my small business. No clutter. No bloat. Just what I need. The full version cost me $9.99 AUD—initially I expected a subscription, hidden fees etc - but no. It’s clear the developers focused on usefulness first. Thank you for making something smart and fair.

If you are looking for something that doesn’t sync with your banks and collect that info, if you are willing to put in the manual regularity of adding transactions and balance updates, and if you willing to over come a learning curve, this app is for you. It’s the perfect semi-advanced, on-device budgeting software I have used. (Rating below is not a metric of how good something is, but rather it’s a level of how much it fits the quality) Simplicity: 7/10 They have a transaction page, a page of your financial accounts/cash, and a stat page for quick review of expense, income, and budget. There are no extensive tools that can project financial health, nor does the app truly connect to the internet (I think you can sync the file save on iCloud). It’s an on-device management app that shows you a little more than just how much you spent and how much is left. Learning curve: 4/10 There is no real tutorial. It’s sort of play around and find out. Still intuitive, but still a lot to figure out. Data analytics: 6/10 Gives the basic info, but no AI, fancy calculator, or models. There is a budget breakdown letting you know if your overcoming monthly budget and there is an income vs expense page. I think this is a great app if you don’t want the sophistication and cost of YNAB or the simplicity of excel.

Really great app to keep up with your finances. Also the statistics tool is well made and easy to quickly see where your money goes to. Only thing that’s missing is syncing between devices. Moment they add that feature, the app will be a complete 5 star app.

Brilliant app. I’m not a fan of subscription based apps which made me decide to try this one. It’s been great so far with a nice clean modern interface. Very refreshing to use something so simple yet powerful without all the extra nonsense. One feature I would like to see is transaction syncing with banks and card providers and I’d be happy to pay for this feature. Maybe we could choose which transactions to add into the app so we still have control because these automated apps do get it wrong sometimes. Thank you for creating such a great app.

I have used multiple different wallet manager app. And this is by far the most efficient, straight to the point interface i have ever used. Very quick to add expenses. Pros: you can include multiple attachments in 1 expense. Cons: the pie chart for categories of spending is only available for the combined total of all your account. I can view a pie chart for each different account. Hope this gets updated in the future. Overall best one I have ever used so far!

【追伸】 ご回答ありがとうございます。 1ヶ月使ってだいぶん慣れてきました。 確かに月初にするのも良いですね。 ご提案いただいたページを再度拝読します。 該当日が土日祝の場合に該当日を前後することが出来たら便利だとは今も思いますが、記入自体の問題にはならなくなってきました。 ───────────────── 連携なしの振替機能付きを探してたどり着いた。 慣れるために絶賛実践中。 このアプリは該当日が土日祝なら前/後倒しがない？ あちゃー　固定費(繰り返し)設定にあれは必要だ。 都度直せば良いことだけど。 あと、固定費に組んだ経費は支出済として計上してくれないと支払った後の残高がわからない。 使い勝手を試すために今月分の収支を入力してるけど、ここにくるまでに5個くらいインストールしたから5ヶ月分くらい入力して最早疲れた。

あらゆる家計簿アプリを試した中で最も良かったため、課金し、5年以上愛用しています。当初から使い勝手の良さがピカイチでしたが、UIも機能もさらに日々アップデートされ、ただただ最高の一言。説明不要なシンプル操作なのに、欲しい機能は全てあります。センスが良すぎる！アプリ開発・メンテナンスの方々、ありがとうございます。知り合いに布教しまくっています。 iPhoneアプリに関しては完璧すぎるほど完璧なのですが、PC版はアッサリとした構造なので、こちらの機能も充実するとより嬉しいです。(特に外貨入力非対応・全て円換算になってしまう点) これからも愛用します☺︎♡

とても見やすく便利で家計簿がつけやすいです。 買ってよかった。 ただ、ほしい機能があります。 支出を入力する際、一つのお店の支出でも分類や資産が違う場合がある。 それを1回で入力できないのがストレスです。 簿記の伝票のように、それぞれの費用と資産を一回で入れたいです。 何度も日付や内容を打つのは面倒なので。 あと、週単位が曜日の設定しかできませんが、 月始めの日を設定できるのだから、その設定日から7日間を週単位として表示できるようにもしてほしいです。 締めが毎回同じ曜日ではないんです。 月の締め日が決まっているので、そこから週単位として表示させたいです。 この2点が大変不便です。 なんとか改善してほしいです。

Mit Abstand eine der besten Apps für iPhone. Die App ist ihr Geld wert (gut, dass es ein Einmalkauf und kein Abomodell ist!), funktioniert zuverlässig, ist einfach und verständlich in der Bedienung und dennoch sind alle Funktionen vorhanden, die man braucht. Jeder kennt es, alles mal schnell mit der Karte bezahlt und gut ist. Ist halt immer doof wenn am Ende vom Geld immer noch so viel Monat übrig ist. Ich nutze die App für den einfachen Überblick über mein frei verfügbares Guthaben nach den monatlichen Fixkosten. Ich habe mir dafür ein Konto „Geldbörse“ angelegt und dokumentiere schnell und einfach alles, was ich mit meiner Bankkarte bezahle oder abhebe. So verliere ich nicht den Überblick und muss nicht aufwändig alle Kontobewegungen meines Girokontos prüfen.

I have been using this app for more than 7 years now, very user friendly, great way to have all the stats. Great new features are added timely. I do have a feedback- It’d be great there is a feature which allows to set a fixed expense/transfer at a certain frequency. There might a lot of people where they have certain fixed expense occurring every week/month, like subscriptions or EMI repayment or mortgage transfers. Would love to have it on the app, that does give some sort controlled automation in tracking some of the expenses/transfers.

Tuttavia, sono rimasto parzialmente deluso. L'interfaccia grafica, infatti, sembra datata, ricordando il design di Windows XP, con uno stile poco aggiornato e curato. Inoltre, se per errore lo schermo del cellulare si spegne, il server creato per consentire l'accesso va in down, costringendomi a chiuderlo dal dispositivo mobile e a riavviarlo, perdendo così eventuali modifiche apportate. Talvolta, l'interfaccia grafica presenta dei malfunzionamenti: decidendo di navigare tra vari conti o menu, capita che questi non si aggiornino correttamente, obbligandomi a ricaricare la pagina per ristabilire la funzionalità normale. Insomma, l'applicazione rimane la mia preferita, ma mi piacerebbe vedere che gli sviluppatori dedicassero maggior attenzione all'aggiornamento della versione desktop anziché promuovere altre applicazioni all'interno di questa. Sarebbe auspicabile che gli sforzi fossero indirizzati maggiormente verso coloro che hanno deciso di riporre la loro fiducia in questa piattaforma.

Have been using for few months, quit user friendly among all, no force to subscribe for premium. But I have subscribed to support them. Hope there’s a new function where user are able to selected which account they want and export it into excel sheet or pdf to shows others instead of screenshot 1-by-1. (Found that backup only able to share all accounts by selected time no other filter)

Money Manager is a decent money and account tracking program for the money. The free version is limited but functional, but the purchase addition unlocks additional features and expands it’s capabilities. It was only $5.99. It’s a lot cheaper than Quicken, and the one-time purchase aspect of Money Manager makes it superior to Quicken in terms of cost. Quicken is much better in several areas but it is very expensive. Here are the two improvements that I think Money Manager should make: (1) Allow it to sync data between your PC, IPad and Smart Phone. Current it doesn’t do that and that surprised me when I made entries on my smart phone that did not sync over to my I-Pad. You have to choose one device to use. (2) Allow Split transactions for purchases so that one entry can have multiple categories of expenses. For example if you shop at Walmart and buy groceries, pet food, and health and beauty products on the same receipt you should be able to allocate dollar amounts for each category for the total purchase. Money Manager doesn’t do that (as far as I can tell). My final comment is that Money Manager isn’t intuitive and it takes a bit to get used to using it and understanding how to use it. Getting the program to load a backup file is very confusing because it never really gives you the upload option, it only uses the words to backup. Very confusing, but it works. Hope this lengthy review helps others.

いろんな家計簿アプリ使いましたが、こちらがダントツに使いやすい！もちろんすぐに有料版にしました！ 私は、他アプリによくある銀行口座連携とかかえって邪魔(１つの口座引落だけど食費と消耗品費にわけたいのにできなかったりする)だったので、連携ないこちらの方が使いやすい！ 有料版は収入/支出項目や資産項目の追加や変更が限度なくできるみたいなので、口座やクレカ別、電子マネーも銘柄別に管理したり、食費も食材と外食に分けたりしてます。 そうする事で分析がしやすくなり、家計の改善に繋げられるようになりました！ かゆいとこに手が届く万能家計簿アプリです！

I’ve tried many, many budgeting apps & I can honestly say that this app provides the most insightful information, and in the most customizable and organized way. It’s incredibly user friendly, and works flawlessly. Giving this app 5 stars despite 1 small feature request I have. Often times, when I shop, I buy grocery, household essentials, snacks, etc. All of which I like to track separately. However, then inputting the transactions, you need to enter each one. So the amount for grocery, amount for supplies, amount for snacks, etc. are 3 separate entries. I think the app should allow you enter one single entry- for example a $100 store trip. Then upon clicking the entry, you can edit the amount you spent on different categories. Then those items can be added on just like any other expense on the pie chart, without needed so many entries. If I go to the store once, but bought 5 different category items, I’d much rather see one entry rather than 5. It looks cluttered & makes me subconsciously think I’m making 5 transactions. Small complaint though. This app is nearly perfect. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind taking the time to micromanage where every dollar goes.
