I love the discover feed. However it only works half the time, randomly despite toggling it on and off and restarting my device. Disappointing. Apparently a well known bug. Chrome is also slow in iOS because of how Apple makes Chrome run on their browser architecture under the hood. Google should challenge and change this… Besides this, Chrome is generally ok.

昨天跟公司的同事去吃午餐，提前慶祝聖誕節。點餐時問服務生有什麼飲料可以選。她就回答：「目錄上都有。自己看」。問她飯後甜點的問題，也是臉超臭的。一副很不想回答的態度。 重點是我們是第一桌的客人。11:30就準時到了。除了我們之外還沒有其他客人到來。而且跟她們說話的時候，眼睛也不看客人的。 菜是還可以。但是服務態度超不行的。前幾年來的時候，服務態度很好。現在差很多。下次不會考慮這一間了。

I’ve always been a fan of Chrome—it works flawlessly on Mac and iPhone. But on iPad, it really gets on my nerves. For years, people have been reporting technical glitches, and yet here we are in 2025 with the same issues still unresolved. For example, when using Chrome in desktop mode, going back a page suddenly zooms the entire screen, forcing me to refresh every single time. Google Sheets is even worse—using it in desktop mode on iPad is a nightmare. The bottom bar with the keyboard and password icons constantly hides the sheet tabs, making navigation extremely frustrating. Why are these issues being ignored? Chrome could be the best browser on iPad if these long-standing problems were fixed, but right now it feels half-baked and unusable for serious work.

the door of the restaurant has a sign saying service dogs are welcome. They are not! we took friends to dinner at the Dockhouse , restaurant we have enjoyed in the past. We asked to be seated outside and we were seated by the hostess in that area. We were enjoying a lovely evening and good food. towards the end of our dinner an employee approached us and told us we should not have a service dogs are on the patio. they are only allowed inside. My friend is obviously disabled physically. she has braces on both hands and a leg. she uses a walker for mobility. Her service dog was trained for two years by United Disability services. He assists my friend in many ways. He picks things up that she drops frequently. He can open doors for her, etc. He slept under our table the entire time we were there and didn’t make a sound. We were told the owner made everyone sign a paper that they would enforce the rule to keep service dogs inside only. We informed them this rule is against the law, that service dogs can accompany their owner everywhere but an operating room. why they felt the need to confront us when we were almost done is bizarre. there are enough other restaurants in this area that we will not be returning. Other diners around us verbalized their support of us and a couple said they won’t be back either. An owner of a business-in the service industry should be aware of the law and the rights of the disabled and their support dogs. still very upset may friend and her dog were treated so poorly.

It’s OK, but DuckDuckGo is miles better, with more privacy than ingocnito mode, blocking sites from getting your data, (you can also see which ones tried to get access) and cool features like “burning” all your data on the app so it’s like you just installed it. You don’t even need an account, you can just start searching instantly! And no, I have not been paid to write this, nor do I work for DuckDuckGo. It’s just the better app overall.

You think it’s cool to open a new tab and then put a search bar in the middle of the screen, right? It’s cool, right? Yeah, it’s cool. But, you know what? So, instead of giving the search bar the focus, let’s make the user click the search bar to make the keyboard open. And, let’s make sure they can’t do anything unless they take this unnecessary action. It’s cool to make users have to move their arm and finger unnecessarily. This is the 2020’s. People don’t know how advanced user interaction design is these days. They definitely didn’t know what they were doing back in the 90s and this is what elegance is. But, you know what? Let’s do something even more complicated because, you know, we’re cool. When you click the search bar, let’s move it like a flying carpet to another area of the screen. That’s really cool. I mean, using our software isn’t the point. Doing cool unnecessary stuff is the point. And you know what a really great side effect of this graphics effect? If the user happens to be trying to double click the text already in the search bar in order to refine it, the first click will register and make the search bar transport somewhere else and the second click will actually cause the user to pick an autosuggestion that they literally have no intention of ever clicking. Man, we must have had a 10 person team for months debating on how to make this the greatest user interface ever… because… you know… we’re COOL! In the decades I’ve been using Chrome, I’ve never considered using Safari, but Google, seriously, you’ve lost your edge.

Google steals your intelligence, your ideas and your life. You get nothing back, They don’t pay tax anywhere, except France and that took France years in Court. The mapping system is lethal. Google can and will tailor your newsfeed so you don’t get the same as other people, and the mapping system can and will send you the wrong way and abuse you, depending on who you are and where you are. African Countries for example they get nothing, when individuals try to research, but the News Google puts up there and harvests will tell you they are just thick, and under developed. Google directed and employees have their own friends who they help, you may have an idea that could make you rich or get you out of poverty. Google will steal it. You’ll get nothing. It is imperative that you use alternatives and support them to put this giant where it belongs. It is also imperative that as voters you make sure your government taxes Google and all the other Oligarchs of the USA and elsewhere. Because they are Bankrupting the world and Bankrupting you. Each Country should develop its own browsers. And abandon this one. The number of catchpas needed to fill in to get access to this app is ridiculous and unintelligent. Google does it to check you are not a robot, so they say. Actually that is unintelligent nonsense as AI can recognise photos and fill them in. Hopefully there will be better AI out there that can take this giant down. It’s a lumbering bully.

I’ve always loved google/chrome/gmail BUT!!! lately all I ever seem to do is login 1500 times a session!! I actually don’t get anything done, just endless logins from one space to another. Even turning on Chrome I get a drop down telling me to verify it’s me and I follow the prompts, logging in 5 times to get there and then see that everything is good and go back to the webpage and BOOM!! Drop down to verify it’s me!!! I go from phone apps to my laptop and still am persistently having to log in over and over again!! Keeps asking for a password which I don’t have as I was led to believe passwordless was easier. Seems my face, fingerprint, Authenticator and phone call isn’t enough…. Tired of trying to work out these changes. The more google tried to be like Microsoft, the less I’m liking it!! Even the search sessions only give me reddit results, nothing like the broad interest like in the beginning of google search. Really disappointed!!

Your recent regeneration cookie issue that allow malicious actors to hijack into google accounts , currently also have other pending issues like : [skip password when possible], [your connections to third party apps and services], [authenticator], is also actually contributing to the vulnerability factor. Supposed regeneration cookies is working in place, connections to third party apps will also allow hijack of apps that is currently installed in mobile devices. This also compromise authenticator apps that is in sync with google api.

So when I search from the google homepage there’s an issue when I go onto a website but want to return to google homepage results it just shows me a white page. If I refresh the page it doesn’t do anything, and if I go back again from the white page, it takes me back to plain google homepage, but it skips my search result, so I then have to rewrite whatever I’m searching again. The only way I seem to be able to bring my results up rather than researching again is to close google via iPhone open app menu and then open google chrome app again. It’s happening a lot and I’m contemplating whether to stop using google because of it. It’s a hard issue to explain, but it’s definitely a bug within google chrome app, as I’ve tried other providers and haven’t had this issue. I like google chrome, but this is literally driving me insane. Please fix this issue

Protect small businesses from incorrect and false reviews!! When you report a review and they respond with no policy violation, there is no chance of actually speaking to anyone and discussing these issues with somebody at google. The prompts just send you in a circle of unresolved issues and you never get anywhere. We have had a huge influx of customers leaving negative reviews in order to try and get free food and when reported to google you do not have the option to speak to someone. I have requested multiple times that my business profile be removed on google as I’m sick of 1 out of 1000 customers who had a bad experience leaving reviews just out of spite. If you have a problem with your product or services, go to the store and speak to the owner/manager. Leaving false reviews or going on rants to businesses do not do you any favours nor does it reflect the long and hard work served.

I am absolutely outraged with chrome. I once deleted all my tabs by accident and I couldn’t get them back but I sealed with it but now I open chrome and the two hundred tabs that I remembered out of the four hundred are ALL GONE AGAIN like come on I didn’t even do anything this time. It’s not that hard to have a function to restore all tabs after 24hrs but this is just poor design now I have to spend days restoring my tabs and only for them to be gone again. I know people have had the same problem so chrome please fix this huge bug.

これまでSafariを使ってきたが、Chromeの拡張機能が便利だったので、使おうと思ってインストールした。 いや、便利機能使えないんかい。 検索すると2020年くらいから言っているんだとか。 しかも、自分らのパスワード管理を使わせるためか、アプリの1Passwordも使えない。 私もこれでパスワードを入力できなきゃこのブラウザは使えないと思ったので、一度Chromeでパスワード覚えさせた人は他に移るの大変だろうなぁ。 ところで、YouTubeのCMで出てくる「断然Chrome」は毎回、嫌な顔したにいちゃんとかが出てきてマジ不愉快で、むしろChrome使ったらこんな顔になりそうと、避ける原因だった。 私は先にSafariと1passwordで馴染んだので、Chromeに移る理由はありませんし、求めるものは実装されていないし、されないようでした。残念。

I just updated to the latest and I’m seriously annoyed. The discover section is so…enlarged. I don’t want to have to scroll so much to see all of what’s being suggested to me. Unlike before it’s all more or less basically visible on the screen at a glance with minimal scrolling. I understand some people might like to see enlarged thumbnails but it would be nice to have viewing options as I personally prefer to see less. In addition, I used to be able to remove/dismiss discover suggested articles with a swipe of the finger. Now i am forced to manually click … and then click ‘hide this’. Again, it’d be nice to have a quick way to deal with this. If there’s a way to currently do so, I’d like to know since nothing I’ve done works. Finally, the translate banner is no less frustrating to use too. Previously I could easily switch from original to translated language just by tapping on the banner which allows you to switch back and forth. Now I actually have to click the translate icon, then click translate or show original each time I want to switch back and forth. It doesn’t help that the banner keeps vanishing after a few seconds and to get it up again requires you to click the translate icon. I honestly wish I hadn’t updated That said, I’m glad there is no longer a ‘close all’ button which can be accidentally tapped. So that’s a pro at least.

I loved Google chrome before the latest big update. It was very fast compared to other mobile browsers and it syncs across multiple devices. With this being said, since the last update the app functionality has deteriorated somewhat. Every time I click the 3 dots in the bottom right corner to access bookmarks, history etc. When I click that the options come up and then just start tapping whatever it likes. Honestly it is so annoying that I have had to switch back to safari. If you don’t click the thing you want within like 2 secs it ends up choosing for you. Please sort this out so I can return to using chrome. More importantly don’t change things that are already fine as they are. Please take note sick of big companies wrecking apps just to succumb to newer generations. If it doesn’t affect the functionality fair enough, but this new update did. Please sort it.

First of all I'm a big fan of chrome on the PC, and google products in general such as drive, maps..Google to me make quality, which is why this app surprises me, it's no where near googles usual high standards. I have it on my iphone5 and iPad Air though tend to use it on the iPad. It's frustrating, pages are slow to load,and you click on what you want while the page is loading, only for some css to change the dynamics of the page making you click on something irrelevant. But far worse is the atrocious keyboard call. You click on a text entry tab, keyboard pops up for you to type, then disappears, over and over again, and again when the keyboard disappears mid typing you can bet your bottom dollar, there's some link right under where the letter you were going to press sits, result it takes you to some random page again, so you have to click back and enter whole forms over again. Terrible. Another problem is websites that auto link to apps store. Your happy browsing, next thing you know, your out of chrome and in the App Store as forced by a website promoting some crap.. That needs to be an block able option, surely a security exploit, if they can launch AppStore they can launch any app. I’ve come back a year later at least now to update this review…if anything it’s getting worse. Auto fill rarely works now, Facebook is unusable, as the keyboard drops and randomly appears midway through typing.

Chrome on iOS 15 has a keyboard glitch, where your keyboard will flicker when entering text on text boxes on some websites. It’s absolutely insane that major bugs like this get past testing, especially for a company the scale of Google. It’s also been over a week and still no fix. Terrible.

Whilst Chrome is a great app, I have to give it a low rating because I cannot control/prevent my son from using it on his phone during the ‘downtime’ hours set in screentime - Chrome appears to simply bypass the hours set and remain available at all times. All other apps do honour the downtime hours so it has to be something specific in Chrome’s setup/code. The only way I’ve been able to stop him using it is to give Chrome a 1 minute time limit, blocking him completely from the app and forcing him to request more time on the app so he can access google classroom for his school work. For others trying to work out how to do this (as Google doesn’t appear on the app list), go to app limits, add a new limit, on the list of apps, swipe down to get the search box and type ‘chrome’ and tick the box beside “ chrome - system”, tap next (note: Chrome does not show in the list but *is* selected - I’m guessing it’s because it’s in the “system” app group), set your time restrictions as normal. When you finish setting up the restriction, you’ll find your newly created app limit does list Chrome along with the new limit you have set. Not ideal Google - please fix this! It would have been a 4/5 star rating if not for downtime not being honoured. As a parent I should be able to set restrictions to control the mental/social health of my kids without having apps bypassing my responsibilities as a parent! If you fix it, I will revise my review rating!

With Google whining about Apples privacy policy, Google refuses to update Chrome so this app is out of date. I moved back to Safari as Google has abandoned this app.

When device rotation is enabled, going from portrait to landscape and back to portrait, will render the website in a very user unfriendly way. The webpage won’t fill the screen anymore, leaving then about 20% of the screen unused. Please fix it. Safari doesn’t have the issue.

I can’t trust google anymore, too bad

After the last Chrome update on iPhone 11 with ios14 when you switch from landscape to portrait the websites you’re viewing shrinks on left and right. Very annoying! Googled lots of same complaints, when will this be solved

Every time I close the app all the tabs shut. I used to be able to toggle between apps and reopen- now every time I return to chrome every single tab has been closed. This is brutal, please fix!

Over the last 2-3 updates, Google Chrome has become so terrible to use, I am at the stage of recommending ANY other Browser and I can guarantee you will be much happier off. * Seriously, every time I open my iPad now, it brings up Chrome, however it is dropping/crashing forcing it to refresh, and now whenever it refreshes it FORCES mobile pages onto you. Especially in Facebook! Nothing is more annoying than Mobile pages, yet Chrome is forcing this on you with every drop/crash. It never used to be like this and needs to be fixed ASAP! * Double spaces in Facebook: About 4-5 updates ago, Chrome has become the only browser to insert double spaces in Facebook. Whilst you think it wouldn't be annoying, believe me when I say it is more than frustrating with tens of thousands of complaints. But guess what? Google has become so large now, they don't actually care about you the end user anymore. This should have been fixed almost 12 months ago, but you guessed it, nope no fix in sight for this annoying bug. Please fix these issues ASAP! ...and by ASAP, I mean NOW! No really!....months later and the issues still persist. It seems google is trying to kill off Chrome :/ Edit: Over a year since I wrote the above and nothing has been fixed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

In the past it was working perfectly. Now I have issues of; App freezing App crashing Page freezing (can’t scroll but click on links, and can’t scroll in the newly opened link. Also can’t open new tab)

Sono rimasto senza giga e dovevo finire lavoro, ho detto attacco l’hotspot dello smartphone e continuò con quello usandolo come router(o modem), ragazzi non c’è stato verso di poter terminare il lavoro iniziato, ben 4 le ore perse, e pensare che PC, tablet e smartphone hanno il solito account basta sincronizzarlo. In passato con iPad mi era capitato ma in 5 minuti ero già connesso al tablet per finire il lavoro. Alla fine ho voluto provare con il PC, quindi elimino la rete del Pc è attivo hotspot dello smartphone e in 2 minuti ero già all’opera. Ma quello che voglio dire è che il tablet comperato in gennaio di ultima generazione mi scrive a caratteri cubitali Google Chrome obsoleto scarica nuove versioni o cambia browser, quando ho fatto aggiornamento 3/4 giorni orsono, gli account sincronizzati e non posso ricevere giga da altro dispositivo, è a dir poco inconcepibile!!!! Domani mattina si torna ad aipad pro immediatamente! 3 mesi e malfunzionamento così grave, da da pensare 💭 che ne dite!

Seit dem letzten Update wurde der runde Suchbotten geändert in den Button der neue Tabs öffnet. Dies irritiert mich extrem, da es für mich viel intuitiver von der Bedingung her war vorher. Jetzt öffne ich jedes Mal einen neuen Tab, wenn ich was suchen will. Könnt ihr das nicht wieder ändern?

The very best mobile browser just kept getting better - until recently - even earlier on in the 10th day of the New Year of 2020 - and here I am - well but look at the time - it’s now the 11th day of 2020, either way - I am still forced to uninstall the Chrome Browser - which I will replace with the friendly Firefox experience. “Was there an update that ruined my ‘once upon a time’ favourite browser?” Oh well, I guess I can just as easily become a Firefox fan eh. If you find yourself in the same predicament as me my dear reader, you might want to follow my lead. Okay then, 3 cheers for Mozilla! Hip-hip-hooray! Hip-hip-hooray! Hip-hip-hooray!

Se non si fanno gli aggiornamenti funziona così e così con numerosi problemi. Se viene effettuato l’ultimo aggiornamento è peggio di prima.! Complimenti agli sviluppatori che creano degli aggiornamenti ultra dannosi per tutti, ma l’eccellenza spetta a chi non verifica e testa codesti aggiornamenti prima di pubblicarli! Siete impareggiabili anche nel menefreghismo alle segnalazionidi chi utilizza questo browser e vi permette di vivere, ma state attenti perché quando si arriva su una cima e non si rispetta chi vi ha permesso di arrivare a questa posizione, si può solo scendere e molte volte la caduta è rovinosa!!!!!!

タブの追加ボタンのすぐ横に タブの全削除ボタンがあるため、 非常に事故が起こりやすい。 復元機能もありますが、削除後一回でも新たにタブを追加すると復元できません。 （誤全削除→処理落ちで画面が止まる→気付かずタブの追加ボタンをタップ→全削除され、タブも新たに追加されてしまう） 何故わざわざこんなボタン配置にしたのですか？ タブの全削除はそう頻繁に使う機能ではないでしょうし、一段深い階層あたりに配置しても良いと思います。

Just updated to 13.1.3 and I opened chrome and it crashed literally 5 seconds after I opened the app. Crash as in the app freezes. Closed and tried it again. Restored my closed tabs. It crashed in 5 seconds. Closed and opened it again without restoring any tabs. Crashed 5 seconds after opening the app. I’ve tried opening the app, closing the tab and opening a new one. Doesn’t work. Tried opening chrome, exiting the app and entering it again. Also doesn’t work. It’s literally unusable for me now. Not sure if it’s because of the update or not. I’ve been using chrome for a long time. It’ll be sad not to be able to use it anymore. But for now, pretty dissappointing.

Hardly usable these day’s because every article I’m trying to read is being pushed half of screen by advertisements.

Ogni due per tre Google si blocca; la posta si carica, ma per il resto non puoi fare niente: quello che hai nel cestino non si cancella (la funzione “vuota cestino” non compare proprio), la cartella spam mostra l’indicatore di caricamento per secoli senza però mai finire di caricarsi...e così vale per le altre cartelle. Perché funzioni devi uscire e aspettare vari minuti - quando non devi addirittura reinstallare l’app. E questo succede da almeno due o tre aggiornamenti fa. Quando Google farà un aggiornamento con almeno un elemento buono, vuol dire che è arrivata la fine del mondo.

I rarely ever update apps because more often than not, something is changed and it makes the app much worse, in my opinion. Having not updated Chrome in around 5 months, today I was hit by their entirely new interface. Its clunky and horrible to use. All buttons moved from top of screen to button. No options swap them back. No options to return to previous UI. No option to downgrade back to older software update. Please make an option to use the older UI again as this new one is horrible.

Scrolling down is nearly impossible because of some kind of race condition between PDF scrolling and the top bar collapsing.

The changes to Chrome have made it hot garbage. I’m sure there’s some good ones in there, but nothing can compensate for such genius moves as: The navigation bar disappearing when you scroll - scroll again in a certain direction if you want to actually navigate! Entire URL is hidden - surely you don’t need to know where the hell you are, especially if you landed deep in the site from a search result? Why even have the URL bar at all? I’ll just determine from context what website I’m on! Option to bookmark a webpage is so deep in the menu you have to scroll for it - past nonsense like both Reading List and Read Later. Which am I going to access more often google, my list/bookmarks, or the option to actually create a list/bookmark? Maybe I’m just the odd one out. Do you really think I’m going to access my Settings more than Add Bookmark? Especially when those settings don’t actually set anything? And there’s still no easy way to stop a page from loading without accidentally triggering page reload. Thankfully, reload option is now available is TWO places, so you can absolutely always reload. Just don’t want less loading instead of more. At least the navigation bar space “stop loading” could have been on is taken up by the critical “search” button, which merely activates the now more-or-less token URL bar. That bar is omnipresent - why the hell do I need a second method of activating it mere inches away from the first? While I’m ranting, why can’t I change my advanced search settings in chrome app, unlike the desktop version? Well, now I’m in the market for a new browser. Or maybe I’ll even give Safari another go. Can it really be any worse?

The new UI is really bad in my opinion. Basic motion clashes create an unpleasent user experience. For example in the past while scrolling upwards the navigation bar is retracted for more screen real-estate, and a simple slight scroll down will enable the navigation bar to slide down. Small details like this makes a huge difference in user experience! Its totally messed up now. The tab page is even more confusing now because I suppose in the past the many pages were stacked behind each other creating a layered scroll interaction. However, users would find it hard to spot the content of the tab page and must use trial and error of sorts to find the right tab (assuming a large number of tabs). All that being said and done, the new interface for the tab pages is even more confusing because the spread grid layout of the tab pages now make it seem and feel like I have to scroll a further distance to get to tabs furher apart! Although now the full page is shown, chances are older tabs are not loaded and it just shows a white loading page! That would make the attempt at allowing users to see more of the page contents incoherent. Ultimately yes the interface is supposedly more crisp (more vectored/illustrative icons) compared to the previous version but the familiar placements of elements(similar to webpage) play a big role in user experience too. Anyway its all acceptable at the end of the day but the point I hate the most would be how it reminds me of Safari on iPhones, such bad interface and such similar wireframes.

Ovviamente trovo utilissima chrome come app peró ODIO l'ultimo aggiornamento. Oltre a essere orrendo è pure super scomodo! Prima si cliccava in alto a destra per aprire le pagine e si potevano scorrere ora bisogna cliccare in basso e ti apre tutte le pagine aperte in un altro modo. Oltretutto è cambiato tutto il design ed è orrendo sembra una copia di Safari venuta male e già Safari non mi piace appunto uso google (anche con un dispositivo Apple) e adesso Google si è trasformato in Safari versione brutta?? Non potete cambiare così tutto il design e i posti delle varie opzioni è inutile rimettete come era prima!

Recently I reinstalled Chrome on my iPad by uninstalling and redownloaded from appstore And ... wow Chrome now has a fresh new look! Which is gorgeous But I want the old look back, I did not like the address bar to be sticky on top of the screen at all time, we already had Safari for this And ... most importantly, the new look whenever I pressed the number of tabs on the right corner, it shows the thumbnail of all opened tabs ... and stuck there! I could not reenter any tabs, nor if I click Done on the right-top corner to exit the tabs thumbnail screen! I dont know why I got a fresh new look when I reinstalled Chrome, without any signs of new version (maybe its beta? maybe im lucky?) Just trying to be helpful in fixing the bugs :) P.S. I will switch to Safari if Chrome insists to have that sticky address bar :)

Devo essere sincero: sembra essere molto più intuitivo rispetto a quello precedente, ma desta qualche perplessità riguardo alla fluidità dei comandi. A mio avviso manca la modalità dark mode, e la possibilità di poter visualizzare una categoria di notizie scelte direttamente dall’utilizzatore dell’app. Potrebbe essere implementata anche la possibilità (per chi ha l’iPhone x) di chiudere le schede direttamente scorrendo, quindi senza dover cliccare in alto la x. Nel caso dovessero essere migliorati e implementati questi tre parametri, mi terrò pronto per modificare la mia recensione!

Inizialmente anni fa Google Chrome era uno dei browser più veloci e sorprendenti. Ora dopo alcuni anni da leader sento che sta perdendo ogni suo vanto. Utilizzo Chrome sia su Pc che su iPhone che su iPad. Su iPhone X e iPad Pro ad oggi succede che le pagine dopo un primo caricamento si bloccano, non è fluido, ogni tanto si blocca il browser e occorre chiuderlo e riaprirlo. Ogni qualvolta ci sta un Javascript da aprire con Chrome non si può fare e occorre usare Safari. Per salvare un’immagine dal web sul proprio dispositivo si teneva premuto sull’immagine e apparivano le varie opzioni. Ora facendolo non funziona e devo usare Safari. Se voglio usarlo come browser principale al posto di Safari non ho l’opzione per farlo e addirittura anche dalle app di Google parte Safari in via predefinita. Non aggiunge nemmeno la possibilità di salvare i file zip che per esempio Safari ha e per questo debbo usare sempre Safari. Diventa scomodo affidarsi a Chrome come browser per questo motivo. Le pubblicità non le riesce a caricare nel modo corretto e danno anche molto fastidio. Un disastro

Google Chrome has always worked pretty well, giving fast and relevant results on searches, no real complaints until recently. Not sure if it's only me but I have come across a problem where my searches won't load... the one purpose of the app but now it just isn't working. I still haven't found the real problem, I have full bars on data, and I've used full bars on wifi, tried on different wifi sources -everything else on my phone works perfectly and as expected without an issue- but regardless through all the troubleshooting I've went through and checking settings within my phone and the app itself's settings, I can't get an explaining for why it just busted unexpectedly. I haven't installed an update on my phone for a while so that couldn't be what's tampering with it, so I'm just stuck. This started around yesterday, so it's a fairly new problem. Like I said I've done all the troubleshooting I could, but it's simply just the app not working. I can open the app, open/close windows, do anything on the main screen of a new tab, although as soon as I type in something, anything, it will do the blank white screen as if it's loading a page for results (I can see the URL at the top) but alas, no results. I've waited a solid few minutes on it to load every time I put in a search but after awhile it gives me the "took too long" and "try again" stuff and of course after trying again and again, no change in results. I really like the app it was doing a job well done until this problem arose for me. I'm just going to leave this review so maybe it'll be noticed and fixed, in the meantime I'll be looking around on my laptop for some answers.

Nem o jogo mais “pesado” que existe, consegue gastar tanta bateria, como o chrome gasta! Eu navego em sites para ler e uso o tradutor. Em 5 minutos de uso, o smartphone esquenta muito e começa a gastar bateria de maneira anormal! Em menos de 4 horas ele vai de 95% a 5% de bateria(somente com leitura de textos, sem nenhum vídeo). Gostaria muito tivesse um outro navegador com tradutor de páginas decente. Para nunca mais precisar usar esse app.

Google Chrome is good but why did they have to put a “news” feed when you open the app? If i want to find “news” or websites i can look for them

Excellent app however Safari is still superior when using with Apple Smart/Magic Keyboard. I’m incredibly used to the simple idea of pressing CMD while tapping on a link to open in a new tab. It’s a simple shortcut that can save a lot of time when you have a keyboard connected to speed things up. The shortcut is available on the Mac/PC version of Chrome but not available on the iPadOS version for some reason. Chrome does support standard shortcuts though such as CMD+T and CMD+W but for some reason doesn’t support anything further than this. Very easy fix, please add this function in and make it easier for me to switch to Chrome completely and forget Safari. I’m only using Chrome right now to sync between devices, but I would love to use it for more reasons than just this.

No complaints. Works seamlessly as default browser for ios these days and unlike safari: I can update it regularly & keep my browsing safe & secure without having to update my entire ios version (which is not an option for me because I live in rural Australia, hundreds of miles from the nearest apple store & I refuse to pay for a Starlink install just to get the wifi I would need for 6-10 gb’s of wifi data I need to update ios! I have a mobile-phone plan that gives me unlimited cellular data but for some incomprehensible reason: apple™️ won’t let me download the latest ios version on cellular data - insists on wifi). So yeah: I would be using chrome™️ as my default browser even if it sucked somewhat. But it doesn’t. It’s completely integrated in to ios system so all the auto stuff happens same as it would for safari, ad-blocking & privacy features work same or better, and I can use the latest version with latest security patches despite my dated ios version.

I’ve tried jumping ship to other default browsers a few times over the years, but I always end up coming right back to Chrome. It honestly just works. What have u done to your app?? Just now I was exploring a website with quizes about food. When I swipe right, the app is slow. My phone is hot due to that. I’m surprise this phone is still hot! Not as hot as just now lah. And what’s with your continuous unskipable popups about advertisements which make the app harder to navigate???? I suppose this was the cause of the slowness?????????? Sload load only up to 10% loaded. Cant even navigate to previous tab. In fact, cant even move around screen. Make loading faster pls

It’s the only browser that allows tab group sync across all platforms. Feature request: being able to select multiple tabs within tab groups and take action on all at once, like moving them to another tab group. Seems to work on desktop but not mobile app.

Ich habe ein Problem mit der Suchleiste in Chrome auf dem iPhone. In den Einstellungen wähle ich die Option, die Suchleiste nach unten zu verschieben. Leider ändert sich danach nichts. Die Leiste bleibt weiterhin oben im Bildschirm. Ich habe die Einstellung mehrmals geändert und auch die App neu gestartet, aber das Problem bleibt bestehen. Es wäre gut, wenn diese Funktion zuverlässig funktionieren würde, da die Suchleiste unten deutlich praktischer zu bedienen ist. Bitte überprüfen Sie dieses Problem in einer der nächsten Updates.

Honestly, I’m only dropping a star because, as my late grandfather always said, they’re “too big for their breeches [alt. britches]!” They all grown their original purpose in the Tech/AI race. It’s becoming too cumbersome to do any simple task on Google anymore hence the drop in rating. Additionally, it has become far too tedious and cumbersome to do the type of search that Google’s name has become synonymous with: informational search. You can type in any search query you want and you will find that almost everything at the top of the page that’s being shoved in your face our companies that have paid Google money to be placed at the top. It’s not a fair search query and I generally try to take my queries elsewhere only to find that a lot of of these smaller search engines use Google anyway. Still at bypasses some of the stupid sponsored algorithms. I do appreciate the AI overview when you ask a question however, I’m finding far too many errors particularly in health and science. That’s another thing! Feeding an AI bought that is supposed to turn out health and science information or other factual data to its users is going to skew heavily with biases and grammatical errors and misinformation and spelling errors etc..

When my phone turns vertical or landscape, the tabs will show another tab’s / (web that I had been closed )screenshot for me, which cause inconvenience for me. This bug has happened on my iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone X for a few years.
