once i open my notes, it suddenly disappeared with no emergency notification. i didnt press anything ngl. if i use the search function, my content still here but the whole note is fully blanked. i have no idea about it. it is so painful that the next day is my test. GUYS, DONT USE THIS APP IF YOU DONT WANNA LOSE YOUR IMPORTANT NOTES.

As much as I like the app, each note has been stuck on a loading screen everyday and I can’t use the app without it saying it’s backing up but it does it everyday

国試の勉強用に使ってます。 いいアプリなんですが、意図しない線が描かれてしまうので星2つです。 その点が改善されれば星5。 友人にオススメはできません。 新品iPad、ペンシルのペン先も新品、ペン先の緩みなしです。 iPadOSは最新です。 それでも線が描かれてしまいます。 線が入り出すと何度消して再び意図せず線が描かれていきます。 表の中や、いまさっき描画したところなんかに。 戻るを連打して消すんですが、描き始めるとまた同じところで線が･･･ 段々と意図しない線を避けることに注力してしまうような書き方を模索してしまうようになってしまい、学習効果が下がります。

Sudden change of view from 3% to 10% is very inconvenient for whole-looking script. I have already accustomed using 3%, you guys suddenly increase limit to 10% make me hard to follow up the scale of my script. Very disappointing, never use this app again.

Lines/highlighter do not become straight when you press and hold at the end of stroke. This is such simple technology, I expected the pro version to have it at least. Brining out the ruler each time I want a small straight line is not realistic. Also the note crashes when you put too many notes in one document. What's the point of calling it infinity notes if I can't even have a moderate amount of notes in it

i was just macking a mind map for my exam after houres i saved it and when i tried to open it was all deleted

Everytime I click on a tool like shape I should see this stupid unlock to premium popup. You could just make it not free when it's really not free.

I’ve been looking for a notes app, where I can add pages into folders and this looked ideal, however upon downloading I noticed that it doesn’t synch across devices, like most other apps I can see my info on my computer and phone, this one is like two different apps and what I add to my phone is not appearing on the computer app so I paid for the upgrade which appears to have the synch feature, but no, it doesn’t, so to me this is pretty useless as I need access to my notes when away from the computer. If you require your apps to synch across your devices don’t use this one.

I’m using the free version of the app. When I was trying to create a new a note, there was a message that I had hit a free note limit but after deleting 5 notes (and removing them from the wastebasket) I still could not create a new note.

Love the concept but needs a lot of improvement, mainly when there is too much data in one note, the whole app slows and the Apple Pencil will skip on every letter I try to write. This makes the app completely unuseable as I spend more time erasing amd rewriting a letter than actually being productive with my studies. And yes, I bought the pro version.

I got super mad! I lost all my notes! One semester for ANATOMY CLASS AND BIOLOGY CLASS. I will have exam next week, and I could not find my note at all! I spend 10 dollars for nothing but losing all my notes? Please REFUND me! I HATE this app!

おそらく全てのiosノートアプリを試しましたが、関連アプリの中では圧倒的に一番使いやすい！他のアプリではできないほぼ全ての要求を満たしています！こだわりのある人に特におすすめです。 ただ共有面で一つ追加して欲しい機能があります。goodnoteのようにpdfでエクスポートする際に、手書きの文字の裏にインデックス用のテキストが埋め込まれているととても便利だと思います。そうすることで、手書きのノートをスクリーンショットではなくpdfや.txtや.mdでそのままaiに共有して読み込ませることができます。 さらにわざわざ共有ボタンを押すのではなく、ホワイトボードに書き込んでいる最中に、そのテキストファイル化を裏でリアルタイムで行うことで openAI codex cliなどのaiと連携して編集が可能になります。(書いたものをその場でAIに分類並び替えてもらうなどができます) 色々書きましたが2026年現在の技術でも十分に可能であり、これが将来的なホワイトボードアプリの完成系かなと思います。

I’m studying maths and I wanted some specific things from an app that I couldn’t find as a whole in any other app-tried heaps and heaps… My wants: the writing has basically no latency, toolbars are customisable, pages are customisable, dark mode works well, PDFs can be downloaded and viewed and annotated, notebooks and individual pages can be exported as PDFs and folders can be organised neatly and you can have as many folders and sun folders as you like-having organised an organised system on any other app was very scarce. Writing feel and response is so much better than any other app I tried! It’s basically the same as Apple notes. Everything just works and anything you want to change you can. It’s very dope indeed. Looooooove eiiiit

I have been a free user and got converted to premium just because of writing experience its second to none. This Is the core reason I went with this app over all GoodNotes of the world. Also Kudos to dev to keep pushing updates for bug fixes. However All things are not perfect hence 4 stars. - Mac app should have support for right click on mouse to Hand tool just like Miro. Currently its space + left click which can be annoying to use. - Mac app should allow zoom on mouse scroll instead of page scroll. The above two feature will m make the Mac app usable using just one hand. - Export/ Sync to google drive as a source. - lasso tool should select MindMaps , currently it skips it. Its hard to organise mind maps later. - A mini Map support on some corner would also be helpful while moving around.

why the note keep download from icloud. Even though i did not do any change. Every time i click in the prodrafts, every file is downloading, it wastes a few of time to download, it is so inconvenient. Hope you guys can fix this problem, since before doesn’t present any this type of problem

Though there are functions need to buy,the way of using it by the area that could write as much things as u could was really good,I got good grades in exam because of keep writing,this app is not good for writting notes but good for copying.

L’unica cosa è che da un paio di giorni tutti i miei Canva ad un certo punto iniziano a bloccare il dezoom fino al 10%, mentre se ne creo uno nuovo funziona normalmente fino al 3%. Per favore aiutatemi perché è davvero fastidioso, se non fosse per questo l’applicazione è stupenda.

UPDATE: I FIGURED OUT THAT TO GET THE PRO VERSION ON MY MAC I HAD TO GO TO MY IPHONE AND PURCHASE THE PREMIUM OPTION THERE. THAT CARRIED OVER TO THE MAC. THE PRO FEATURES MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. EXCELLENT APP. (>> older review) So far I’m liking it. However I can’t seen to purchase the Pro features. It’s advertised that it is $12.99 CAN on the App Store and in the app. But the App reports an error when I try to purchase the onetime unlock. Please help and I’ll give you a better review

Prodraftsの無限ノートは、Goodnotesのそれよりも圧倒的に使いやすい。何よりProdraftsは画像をロックできる点が素晴らしい。画像を貼り付けその上に書き込んでもずれたりしない。あと画像を貼り付けられる量も、Goodnotesはすぐに制限いっぱいになるが、Prodraftsはかなりの量を貼り付けられる（多少画像は粗いが）。ピン機能も便利。全体を縮小してもピンがあるためにどこに何があるかが分かりやすい。他にもまだ色々とGoodnotesより優れている点があるが、なぜかほとんどのiPad系YouTuberたちはGoodnotesばかりを褒めてProdraftsを取り上げていることは少ない。不思議だ。私が何より心配なのはProdraftsの開発が終わってしまうこと。私はProdraftsを応援します。開発をずっと続けてください。

Well, I’m very impressed with this! Still has a way to go in adding certain features but so far it’s very practical and you can tell designer has really thought about the intangible barriers that stop you in your creative flow!(if that makes sense, ha ha) A few things I would love to see! - Our way to make the grass go vertical and not just flow charts - to have the page switch between dark and light mode depending on system settings.

Eraser shortcut button of Wacom Intuos pro pen 2 doesn’t work with Prodrafts app as on MacBook air M2. But the eraser shortcut does work with Microsoft one note. It’s irritating to always go and select the eraser tool from the list. The app has eraser shortcut but has no shortcut back to pen tool. So you have to again go and select the pen tool from the list. Having to move the cursor and select from tool list rather a simple shortcut click on the stylus pen itself is irritating especially when you are working on a large screen monitor connected to macbook/laptop.

For me digital handwriting notes feel like a chore, I don’t have motivation to write them, it’s going to take sooo long. The paid apps I used didn’t really have the features I was looking for to help me stay motivated. For me I sometimes just type them or don’t digital write notes at all bc of that. This app helped me so much with handwriting notes and making it organized and pretty as possible so I can understand what I wrote. I do not pay for apps either unless I have to and I am so glad this app has a one time purchase that is affordable on top of a subscription purchase. if an app has a one time purchase I will do that instead. I got the feeling of handwriting notes again, didn’t feel like a chore or felt so long. I enjoyed the moment, watched the videos I needed and wrote down my notes. Will use this app forever. Really love it and recommend.

I love this app! I just bought the premium version yesterday and oh BOY, air puts other note taking apps, both free, freemium and other premium apps like even Goodnotes and Notability to SHAME. (in my experience) My only tiny critiques are 1. Add more laser pointer color choices like how you made a custom color palette for writing. 2. Whenever using an infinite note canvas, it’s infinite on both ends. And because of that, it’s personally a little annoying to navigate. Can you make it the way OneNote does, like it starts finite from leftmost but goes infinitely to right and down. I don’t know if you understand but like don’t make it infinitely long on both left AND right, you get what I’m saying. Otherwise, this app is AWESOME and DOPE AS HELL for a student like me. Edit 1: I just find out how to segregate the page so it feels like I can start so I take it back. I think it’s way better like you did. But I still wish there were more laser pointer colours, full customisation. Edit 2: I keep running out of ICloud storage which is REALLY freaking annoying and similar to Goodnotes, can you PLEASE introduce your own custom, in-app cloud, like how Goodnotes has their own Goodnotes-cloud, not affecting other documents and your critical storage? PLEASE?

I trialled multiple apps on my ageing iPad 7th gen with A10 processor. Notability was my go to app but on iOS 17 and 18 it was starting to run hot and there was lag with the pen strokes. I tried Goodnotes, Nebo, Apple Freeform, Concepts. All these apps heated up my iPad, killed the battery life or unexpectedly quit due to RAM limitation. I tried Prodrafts which has been working well, no heat and no unexpected shutdowns, the battery life is better. There was one update which the developers quickly fixed which was causing a lot of heating (the update that allowed handwriting recognition); even though I had this feature turned off. Fortunately a quick update from the developers fixed this problem and Prodrafts is working flawlessly on iOS 18 despite the age of my iPad. It has great Apple Pen tools, calligraphy is so good, infinite notes and infinite canvas. It’s also a once off purchases, so no subscriptions. Keep up the great work guys!

Portuguese language and delete annotation by crossing with the Pencil, the app is perfect.

This is a great app, I use it a lot every day. However, since the last update, it crashes frequently. Please look into this issue, as it’s getting annoying to have the app crash every 30 minutes.

Grande svilupatore, complimenti. Purtroppo ogni tnto i documenti quando vengono elaborati da iOS no sono piu editabili in MacOS. Ma sembra che sono solo i documenti in A4. Quelli infinito no. Grazie

メインの機能に関しては完璧なのですが、痒いところに手が届かないようなちょっとした不便が3つあります。 ⒈分割表示すると時折挙動がおかしくなる 二本指でキャンバスを動かすことができるのですが、iPadで分割してから横移動しようとするとズームイン？してしまいます。とにかく挙動が変になります。これが地味にストレス。 ちなみに、キャンバス内の画像を編集するとなぜか直ります。またバグりますが。 ⒉iCloudに保存するものと本体保存するものを分けられない 今の所、同期しようと思うと全てのキャンバスをクラウド同期してしまいます。それぞれの端末でしか開かないキャンバスも多くあるため、iCloud同期するものとそうでないものを分けたいです。 ⒊選択した複数の画像を整列できない キャンバス内にインポートした画像は手動でしか整列できません。選択ペンで画像を複数選択し、画像群を整列できるようになったらそれはまごうことなき神アプリ。手描き文字は綺麗に整列させられるので、そのまま画像にも実装してください。この機能の実装を待ち望んでいます。 ちなみに、個人的にはそんな気にしていませんが、このアプリは翻訳が完璧ではありません。と言っても体感95%は翻訳されています。iCloud設定の説明文であったり、よくある質問、機能紹介用サンプルメモが翻訳されていません。

I’ve been using high quality well thought out note apps since the release of the first iPad and have experienced their respective evolutions. I recently discovered ‘Prodrafts’ and was first impressed by the beautiful pen handwriting strokes. Furthermore, the e-paper will easily fill the entire screen in both landscape and portrait if one desires, offering an actual canvas feel for a more creative/artsy sensation. But it’s also definitely an excellent note taking app offering a plethora of very fine and useful tools. I like using the word ‘impactful’ in describing my initial feelings and ‘imagination’ in the various ways this app is extremely useful and can be implemented. The designer(s) have done a great job and continue to do so. It’s also nice to be able to purchase the full version rather than paying for a monthly subscription and the price is very reasonable and very worth it. I also truly appreciate the paper options such as the journal style paper. There’s so many ways to do so many things and is unique from other note-taking, journal, creative thinking applications. An individual can utilize a more conservative style and/or cause things to pop!! Love it and thank you.

Prodrafts is a pretty good app. It has a decent amount of features incorporated into it. Good art tools, better than goodnotes, notability or Noteful, and a pretty easy to use interface. I particularly like the calligraphy pen and table maker. I’m also glad that there is no ai nonsense built into the app. A completely useless feature to me. However, it does not have some of the features that other note pops often have, like speech to text or recording capabilities. It does not load content heavy or highly detailed pages well, even whitening out some. It also doesn’t have a lot of page template features, with no option that I can see to create the realistic textured pages as advertised. But my main issues are the fact that it heats your iPad up terribly and drains the battery very quickly. This can be worrisome if you’re bothered about your iPads health. Overall, if the app had some of the other features that the likes of notability or goodnotes had, and did not cause the heat and battery problems it would be far, far better, and I would rate it higher..

It’s free and flexible, the texture of words and the feeling of writing is better than good notes, it’s more authentic and more similar to writing on the paper with actual pen.

筆記的搜尋功能基本等於無用，豎直文稿都正常為何到了筆記（及pdf導入）就失效？ 另外螢光筆顏色會蓋住字體，雖然說可以用調透明度解決，但調到不會蓋住字體的程度基本就等於看不到螢光筆了。 鋼筆的筆鋒也不明顯，寫字沒有其他軟體好看。

This app is the best thing I’ve found for revising for my a levels. It allows me to keep my revision work in a completely different app to the rest of my notes/ resources and has an infinite amount of organisation (files within files, customisable colours and designs). With in the notes there’s so many features to rival other note taking apps like Goodnotes and its so much better than Freeform (no lag). The thing that would really tip this over the edge to the best app ever for work or studying would be a function to create flash cards, this would be so useful to students and would really make this app the full package!

I absolutely love Prodrafts. I have test most of the other popular note taking apps and no matter how much I try to like them, I keep coming back to Prodrafts. The infinite canvas, page customizations and different brushes are just unbeatable. My only real issue is that it doesn’t work well between desktop and iPad. Even though there is an app for Macs and you can enable iCloud sync, it still doesn’t operate smoothly. Typing on the iPad is quite uncomfortable without a keyboard, so I prefer to do it on my laptop, but many times the file on my laptop is not updated to the one on the iPad so it makes it hard to add anything. I think if there was just a way to update a file intentionally with a button or something, it would fix this problem. Other than that though, it really is the best note taking app for iPads in my opinion.

I bought this app because it had the pencil feature instead of just pen, and now suddenly I can’t use it anymore? All the other writing utensils are fine (I can use the highlighter, pen, crayon, etc) except for this pencil feature. Please help

I've tried many note-taking apps, and this one is the best. The price is reasonable, and it offers all the features that would cost more in other apps.

I have all the major notes apps but keep coming back to this one because of the infinite note feature. The pen toolbar is simple and effective, no need for lots of tapping to get what you want. Mind maps are also great. There are a lot of extras I haven’t tried yet, but the basics hit the right spot.

This is a wonderful app—the best infinite canvas I've used by far! There are just a few caviates that I would like to mention. While this is definitely the best out there, they seem to be missing a few things that other ininite canvas apps have. The biggest issue for me is navigating the infinite space! The best option for orginaization is "pinning" which creates a sort of "Table of Contents" and allows you to jump around. However if you forget to pin or are workinging on a complex problem that branches out in many directions, its hard to navigate back to/find where all this is. For me it would be huge if there was an "Atlas" of sorts where it could sense the bounds of marks/objects within the canvas and then render that at low resolution, allowing you to see a full snapshot of the document and jump from place to place within. This would 100% earn that last fifth star in my review! Another small thing is that while they have both the mac app and the ios app, and your purchase seems to carry over which is excellent—it doesn;t seem that there is a good way to tether these apps in the cloud through your account. What I mean is I would like to edit/organize the documents and pages on my mac, and draw/expand the documents on my ipad. However changes I make on my ipad are not connected to my mac app and vice versa. There is a tool to export/shar/import but this is far too tedious to be useful. Just some thoughts and hopefully it shouldn't be too hard for the dev's to impliment these sorts of updates. I will for sure upgrade to 5 stars if and when they do!

I think in general, the app is really nice. however, i think it is better to improve the search function. the search funciton doesn't detect handwriting, so it would be very difficult to find sth i wrote. Goodnotes provide a nice search feature, where i think prodrafts can replicate. it would make the app better definitely on top of the many good features it offer

I use pro version, and it has wide variety of tools I can creat notes with shapes and visuals. I'm quite satisfied with them. The only feature that I wish to be added is one that allows me to change default fonts and font size. I always have to change the font and size every time I write a note, and it's just tiresome.

First infinite whiteboard app I’ve found that has a good range of free features and good folder management. A huge feature missing from a lot of free versions like miro and concepts is the ability to create multiple boards and/or have folders with their free versions. This apps base/free version is great and has all the basic features necessary to make notes and try the app before deciding if you want to spend the extra money for more features. I feel like im definitely more likely to buy the pro version for this instead of miro or concepts because of all this

ガンガン使い込みました！！ 値段もお得！ そして、買切り！！ 使いやすいいです！！ 今後も開発者様には期待したいし、いっぱい応援したいです！！！ 不具合？なのかな？ 共有でPDF変換が出来ない時が有ります。 →これは、共有でこのアプリの拡張子で一旦別に保存し、そこからPDF変換で処理出来ます。変換出来ない方を消して再保存した方を残せば問題回避出来ました！！ iPadの性能のけいなのかな？ 画面が真っ黒とか書いたのが表示されない等々、画面表示エラーが起きます。アプリを落として起動させても治らない。 →この場合はiPadを再起動する事で復活しました。手間がかかりますが対処が可能でした。 ※いろいろと問題は有りますが、多くの使用しゃと応援で発展していくと思いました！！！

I chose this after trying various notes app. And it perfectly fits my requirements. Just a small suggestion/improvements. If possible, please add something like area selection tool, so that we can select that area and remove it whatever the contents present on that. Removing using eraser is cumbersome. Also, I bought the lifetime premium. 😊

This app is better than any other notetaking app I’ve tried, and it’s almost perfect. But it would be so helpful if the note option also has pins, art boards and access to files, as I use these frequently, especially on slides. It would also be cool to see some kind of spaced repetition tool for tapes?

Hello prodraft team! This is the best note taking app on the App Store which includes all the necessary features required for note-taking like a huge canvas, shape correction and a variety of customization options. It was my primary note taking app and I used it regularly. But the only problem for me was that I found out the app would reduce the scaling ratio to 10% when the attachments increase. Please change this or at least reduce it to 5% as zooming out is important for an infinite canvas experience.

This app is the best note-taking app I’ve ever used. It uses Apple’s native drawing toolbar, but gives you the option to make presets for the brush style and color, with double-tap undo. Instantly, you get native writing feel and performance, with none of the drawbacks. You get the best anti-aliasing: no more jagged and progressively more pixelated strokes when you zoom out away from the writing, everything looks great at any zoom level. Then there’s the infinite canvas, but it’s the most optimized and polished infinite canvas I’ve ever come across. I’ve never seen it lag once, even for big notes, unlike with the native Freeform app and Concepts, which become basically unusable for notes beyond a certain size. The canvas drag acceleration is tuned to a T: quick initial acceleration with a sharp falloff. It’s a small detail but something that makes using the app enjoyable and something that I cannot unsee in Concepts. The combination of native drawing performance and look, with a smooth canvas, has already made the experience of mind-mapping and solving math equations the best out of any other app I’ve used. But upon the already well-polished basic features, you can split screen the same infinite canvas file? Sheesh. The only complaint I have about this app would be the small flickering of text when I’m writing zoomed out of the text. I think this effect happens because when you put the pen to the screen the ink brightens slightly, and then when you lift the pen off the screen, the ink dampens. The rapid movement of the pen when writing causes this lighting and dampening effect to happen at shorter intervals, which makes the text look like it flickers. But, this is a small issue, and it’s imperceptible at zoom levels higher than 50%, so it doesn’t bother me most of the time. This is an amazing, well-polished, and feature-complete app. It inspires me everytime I sit down and use it. I would highly, highly recommend you give it a try.

I have been a life long user of Notability and Goodnotes 5, until I stumbled across this app. There are so many features that are useful and I feel like it’s the combination of those two popular options all merged together. There’s the option to have infinite canvas, which is what I need for mind map notes. Then there are traditional linear notes which is really cool as well. You can import your own templates if youd like, but the original one works pretty well too. The tools like lasso, eraser, pens are straight forward and they also have the Apple tool bar as well, just like the notes app. The most important factor for me is I can FINALLY lock the zoom to a certain percent so I could keep my handwriting consistent. After testing out for half an hour, I immediately purchased the unlimited, which is still cheaper than Goodnotes or Notability. There are still phrases that are not completely translated into English from Chinese, but that is very minimal and did not affect the experience at all. Overall, I am so glad to find this app, and I would highly recommend you try it out!

Please add pip like in Whiteboard app. Your canvas is way better than theirs. But they have this additional feature of recording camera while taking notes. Please add, I will pay if needed. Please add a feature to video record the canvas along with audio, it will help in creating lecture video. Thanks for this software.
